Jessica Evans was wearing sexy lingerie, sitting on the soft and comfortable bed, waiting for James Kelly to return.
Late into the night, James still hadn't come back, and a trace of disappointment flashed in her eyes.
Just then, the sound of a car engine came from the yard.
Jessica didn't even have time to put on her slippers and ran to the window to look out.
Sure enough, it was James's silver Bentley pulling into the garage.
She took a deep breath, looked down at her sexy lingerie, and her heart pounded like a drum.
They had been married for two years, and he had always slept in the guest room, never touching her.
Jessica knew that Mr. Kelly had arranged their marriage, and it was not James's intention.
She thought, 'But it has been two years; we can't go on like this forever. Should I take the initiative?'
With this thought in mind, Jessica, wearing that black lace sexy nightgown, quietly walked to the guest room door.
She mustered up the courage to knock on the door, but there was no response.
Jessica carefully pushed the door open, and the sound of water came from the bathroom.
He should still be taking a shower.
Suddenly, the sound of water stopped, and James stepped out of the bathroom with his long legs.
He was only wearing a towel around his waist.
James's toned body was exposed to the air, and water droplets were sliding down the firm muscles, leaving Jessica stunned.
James's handsome brows furrowed, his voice was cold, "Jessica! Have you seen enough? And who let you into my room?"
Jessica awkwardly withdrew her gaze and said with little confidence, "You are my husband. Isn't your room my room?"
After saying that, she quickly blushed and looked at him with clear eyes, asking, "Do you like how I'm dressed?"
Jessica's delicate and exquisite body was presented before him, her porcelain-like face tinged with red, her long eyelashes fluttering innocently, yet she seemed to be emitting an electric charm, damn seductive.
He had never known that his wife had this side to her.
James concealed the unusual look in his eyes, his Adam's apple involuntarily rolling.
Then, he quickly put on his robe and threw her one of his shirts.
James restrainedly said, "Go back to your room."
Jessica looked at him aggrievedly, feeling a sense of humiliation.
Her friend Lily Stewart's speculation suddenly popped into her mind.
Lily had said that James, being in his prime and the eldest son of the top family in Kyro City, with his good looks and money, had many women wanting to be with him! He must have had relationships with others outside, which was why he acted so indifferent at home.
With that thought, Jessica's question slipped out, "Do you have a mistress outside?"
James's eyes flickered, neither admitting nor denying it.
He calmly said the most cruel words, "Jessica, I told you on our wedding day, the only thing I can give you is the title of Mrs. Kelly. Don't expect anything else."
Whenever he said this, helplessness and despair would swept through every nerve in Jessica's body.
Maybe to him, she was just an ordinary girl who had climbed up to the Kelly family.
After all, no one would want to marry a man they had never met.
But he didn't know that many years ago. He was like a beam of light, warming her world.
While she was lost in thought, James had already opened the door for her.
He coldly said, "Go rest. And in the future, don't wear this kind of clothing. It's not suitable for you."
He was asking her to leave.
Jessica was extremely embarrassed and hurriedly turned to leave. In her panic, she accidentally tripped on the steps and was about to fall down the stairs!
In the critical moment, James quickly stepped forward, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her into his arms. She collided with James's strong chest, falling into his warm embrace.
James looked down and saw her wearing the sexy lingerie, her expression still in shock, looking pitiful and endearing. His Adam's apple moved instantly, and desire surged in his eyes.
Jessica felt his tense chest muscles and met his fiery gaze, subconsciously swallowing.
Her soft breasts pressed against his chest, her nipples slightly erect, rubbing against his muscles, stimulating his senses, making his breathing instantly heavy.
James held her slender waist, unconsciously leaning down, his lips approaching hers. Their breaths intertwined, hearts racing, and the atmosphere gradually becoming intimate.
Jessica couldn't help but close her eyes, her heart pounding wildly.
