Chapter 307 The Antidote is a Woman's Body
Chapter 307 The Antidote is a Woman's Body
Luke strode quickly toward his car, shoving Evelyn into the back seat. His tall frame squeezed in right after her, trapping her firmly between the seat and his chest.
The car door slammed shut, and the vehicle slowly started moving.
Evelyn glared at him, her chest rising and falling rapidly.
"Luke, what do you think you're doing?"
He leaned down, his hot breath hitting her face, carrying a hint of amusement.
"Are you talking about yourself?"
"Blind date, dinner, chatting about life."
He spoke each word deliberately, as if reciting a death list.
"Rather than let someone else benefit, might as well benefit me. After all, we have experience and good chemistry."
With that, his long fingers moved to his belt, the metal buckle making a crisp sound.
Evelyn's heart skipped a beat in fright, and she quickly reached out to grab his wandering hand.
"What are you doing? Stop it."
Luke was a madman who would do anything.
"Scared?"
Luke's movements stopped, his other hand moving to pinch her delicate chin, his fingertips caressing her tender skin.
"In the future, you're not allowed to go on blind dates with other men, and definitely not allowed to dine alone with them."
His voice was low and commanding, brooking no argument.
"Otherwise, you know how I'll punish you?"
Evelyn's blood rushed to her head as she slapped his hand away.
"Luke, what right do you have to control me?"
"Don't you have your first love too? You and that woman appearing together everywhere - do you think I'm dead?"
All the grievance and anger that had built up in her heart erupted at this moment. Her eyes instantly reddened, misting with tears.
His first love was a thorn in her heart.
Luke looked at her reddened eyes, his handsome face actually relaxing.
"Jealous?"
He moved even closer, almost touching her lips.
"Why didn't I see you come make a scene?"
"I wouldn't stoop to such ungraceful behavior." She bit her lip, stubbornly turning her face away, then added, "Who you like is your business. I can't control it."
Luke chuckled low, the vibration from his chest transmitting through the thin fabric to her back.
His voice suddenly became very gentle.
"It wouldn't be ungraceful. You're the mother of my children. You have the right to be arrogant. I allow you to make a scene."
This sudden sweet talk made Evelyn stiffen all over.
She whipped her head around and shouted toward the front.
"Stop the car."
The driver glanced in the rearview mirror, but without orders from Mr. White, he maintained steady speed and didn't dare stop.
Luke stared at her sulking profile.
"Don't you want to know who she is?"
"I don't want to know, and I'm not interested." Evelyn looked at him hatefully, gritting her teeth.
Luke suddenly called out loudly.
"Pull over at the woods ahead."
Evelyn's body trembled in fright as she screamed.
"Don't stop."
But the car still smoothly drove into that familiar grove of trees, the engine turned off, and the driver quickly opened the door, got out, and fled.
Evelyn instinctively reached for the car door, but before her hand could touch the handle, she was pulled back by a large hand.
Luke yanked her into his arms, locking her tightly with both arms.
He lowered his head, his warm lips precisely kissing her tender neck.
Evelyn trembled all over, crying out.
"Luke, you're shameless. Let me go. Don't touch me. I don't want this."
"If you dare force me, I'll report you."
She didn't forget to threaten him.
Luke curved his lips, his dangerous and sexy masculine aura spilling entirely over her ear.
"You will want it..."
With that, his hand directly explored downward.
The temperature inside the car suddenly rose, and before long, two clear handprints appeared on the fogged-up car windows.
Evelyn was mortified with shame.
This man actually...
And he didn't even need to personally engage - he had already made her completely defeated...
When the car returned to Jackson Mansion, it was already dawn.
Evelyn pushed open the car door and ran out. She turned back to curse.
"Luke, you're shameless, you bastard."
With that, she ran away.
Luke sat in the back seat, watching her panicked fleeing figure, and curved his lips.
He hadn't actually done anything to her, but he had made her climax, though it tortured himself...
He leaned back against the seat, his Adam's apple bobbing as he closed his eyes.
When Evelyn returned home, she found Ruby and Daryl hadn't gone to bed yet. They were sitting upright in the main hall waiting for her.
"What happened? Where did Luke take you?" Ruby immediately came forward, her face full of worry.
"I'm fine. We just had a late-night snack."
Evelyn said guiltily in a small voice, her eyes evasive, then suddenly added.
"Mom, I don't like Bruce. Please don't bother anymore."
With that, she ran upstairs like a startled rabbit.
Daryl watched his daughter's retreating figure, his expression dark enough to drip water.
"Looks like she still likes Luke."
"Look at her complexion - it's suddenly so rosy. That's the magic of love."
Ruby sighed and sat back down beside her husband.
"Let's change strategies. You go consult a good doctor."
Ruby became more convinced her plan was feasible.
"What if he becomes functional again? Wouldn't that make everyone happy?"
Daryl glared angrily.
He'd never seen parents who had to help treat another man's condition just so their precious daughter could be with him.
If only Nina were here.
Nina was so well-behaved, never causing him worry.
But at this moment, Nina was also quite worrying.
Today was the completion day for Vast Star Hotel. After three months, a luxurious seven-star hotel was finally finished.
The grand opening was scheduled for next Friday.
By then, Nicholas and Emma should have returned from their honeymoon at Happy Island.
That evening, Ethan was hosting a dinner for the hardworking contractors. After the dinner, those enthusiastic contractors dragged Ethan to a club for drinks.
Nina didn't miss a single event.
First, she spent ten minutes in a snack shop - Ethan limited her to only ten minutes per day.
Otherwise, he was afraid she'd burst her stomach.
After leaving the snack shop, Ethan accompanied Nina to dinner, where she ate quite a lot.
At the club, she was holding a plate of snacks and munching away.
He suspected her stomach was a bottomless pit.
"You can't eat anything more."
Ethan took the snack plate from her hands, his tone carrying the sternness of discipline.
"If you eat more, you'll have indigestion tonight."
He wasn't any less worried than Daryl.
Nina grinned, showing two rows of small white teeth. "I saw they weren't eating, so I didn't want it to go to waste."
Ethan's tone became more serious. "No more eating. Sit here obediently, and I'll take you back in a while."
Nina nodded and obediently put down her hands, taking out her phone to scroll through it listlessly.
A woman in a tight red dress with big waves walked over, holding a glass of red wine.
"Mr. Martinez, let me toast you. Thank you for giving us this opportunity."
Jade's voice was seductively smooth.
"I hope we can collaborate again on the next Vast Star Hotel."
Ethan's face showed no expression. "Your work was very responsible. I personally inspected it - the installation was excellent."
He picked up his wine glass, clinked it with hers, then drained his glass in one gulp.
Jade naturally sat down in the empty seat beside him and poured herself another glass of wine.
Her gaze turned to Danny, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
"Danny, shall we have a drink too?"
She raised her wine glass.
"He doesn't drink. I'll drink for him."
Ethan picked up the wine bottle, filled his own glass, tilted his head back and drained it, directly blocking the drink.
Jade stared at this handsome young man, suspicion rising in her heart.
This young man called Danny wasn't simple - he could make Ethan personally block drinks for him.
She didn't know if it was her imagination, but she always felt Ethan was overly protective of this young man, personally handling everything. Just during dinner, he had served him food no less than ten times.
Was it really as simple as being cousins?
Before long, Ethan's phone rang. He stood up and walked out to answer it.
Jade also stood up, holding her wine glass and swaying her hips as she walked out.
Nina looked up at the doorway. She felt this woman wasn't simple.
The way she looked at Ethan practically had "I like you" written all over her face.
After a long while, neither of them had returned.
Nina opened the door and walked out. The corridor was empty - both of them had disappeared.
Her heart jumped. They couldn't have gone on a date, could they?
She quickly dialed Ethan's number. The phone rang for a long time, but no one answered.
A bad feeling crept into her heart.
She rushed to the back staircase. Ten seconds later.
She appeared in a luxurious large room. Ethan was lying on the bed, his eyes tightly closed, his face flushed, breathing rapidly - something was wrong.
Jade was sitting beside the bed, reaching out to unbutton his shirt. She had already undone three buttons.
Jade turned her head and saw Danny, who had appeared in the room at some unknown time. Her heart shook violently.
When did he come?
How did he get in?
"Ms. Marie, please leave. Ethan doesn't like other women touching him." Nina lowered her voice, speaking coldly.
Jade stood up, looking at him with clear, cold eyes. "Mr. Martinez has been drugged. He needs a woman to help him right now, or he could be in serious danger."
With that, she curved her red lips. "As long as I marry Ethan, you'll definitely benefit in the future."
Jade slowly walked toward him, her words full of temptation.
Nina's heart clenched tightly as she said coldly, "Take out the antidote."
Jade looked at him fearlessly, saying contemptuously, "This special rosemary concoction has no antidote. The only antidote is a woman's body."
Tonight, she was determined to succeed.
"Nina." Ethan let out a painful low moan from the bed. He frantically reached up to tear at his shirt, only calling one name from his mouth.
"Nina..."
Nina looked at his face, twisted in agony, and her heart trembled.
Jade turned and took out a bank card from her bag, holding it out to him. "There's five hundred thousand here - consider it your pocket money."
"Get out."
Jade turned to put her bag on a chair when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of her head. Her vision went black, and she softly collapsed unconscious.
Nina dragged her to a corner, then slowly walked toward the bed.
She sat on the bedside, looking at the man suffering on the bed. She couldn't let him die...
Finally, she reached out and removed the disguise from her face, revealing a stunningly beautiful face.
"Ethan." She called softly. At this moment, she didn't know what to do either.
"Ethan, wake up." She knelt on the bed, gently patting his handsome face, but he still didn't wake up.
She picked up a bottle of water, took a large mouthful, then leaned down to transfer it to his mouth.
Ethan slowly opened his eyes.
"Nina, is that you?" He looked at that beautiful small face, sometimes clear, sometimes blurred.
"Ethan." Her small mouth moved, calling out his name.
Finally, he moved.
He rolled over, pressing her beneath him, and lowered his head to kiss her lips...
