Chapter 295 Luke, Are You Crazy?

Chapter 295 Luke, Are You Crazy?

Under his powerful advance, Evelyn felt her resolve melt away, clinging helplessly to Luke's shoulders.

All past unpleasantness had already evaporated.

His breath brushed against her ear, his husky voice carrying fatal temptation.

"Baby, did you miss me?"

Evelyn's breathing became completely erratic.

He was the embodiment of testosterone, every inch sculpted to her exact preferences—the father of her children, the man she had ever loved

After being apart for so many days, how could she not have missed him?

But she stubbornly refused to admit it, squeezing out a few words between her lips and teeth.

"Luke, you're shameless."

Luke chuckled low, the vibration from his chest transmitted through their pressed bodies to her heart.

Warm breath poured entirely over her ear, both tingling and tickling.

"Is that so?"

"Then let me show you what true shamelessness would look like."

"Click." The switch was pressed.

Golden spotlights around the hall suddenly blazed to life, instantly banishing the darkness.

A spacious, exquisitely decorated luxury space burst into Evelyn's vision without warning.

Directly ahead was an enormous floor-to-ceiling window.

Outside lay a brilliant river view, lights sparkling like scattered jewels, flowing colors painting the night.

Before Evelyn could marvel at the sight, her body suddenly felt weightless.

Luke swept her up in his arms, striding toward that massive window with purpose.

He set her down, positioning her upright to face the magnificent panorama of city lights outside.

"Baby, let's enjoy the river view together."

His voice carried laughter as he spoke against her ear.

The moment the words fell, his large hands moved decisively.

The sound of fabric tearing rang especially clear in the quiet living room as her clothes were completely removed.

Evelyn's heart nearly stopped beating.

Though she knew this building was the highest point along the river, with no taller structures nearby.

And this expensive glass couldn't be seen through from the outside.

But standing naked here, being watched by the entire city's brilliance, the intense shame and visual impact stimulated every nerve.

Both thrilling and terrifying, yet exhilarating...

She instinctively tried to flee, but turning around only resulted in Luke pulling her back tight against the glass.

"Don't be afraid. Just enjoy the view."

His voice sounded soothing, but more like a devil's temptation.

Then he led her into a realm of ultimate sensation.

Time became meaningless, and the cold glass window gained two palm prints glistening with perspiration.

They lingered there for a long while.

When it ended, Evelyn's legs gave out, nearly collapsing to the floor.

Luke caught her with quick reflexes, gathering her into his arms.

Evelyn assumed he would carry her to the bathroom, too exhausted to even lift her eyelids.

Instead, he carried her into another spacious room.

A soft floor lamp glowed warmly, its yellow light illuminating several paintings of different styles on the walls. In the center stood an easel with brushes and paints arranged nearby.

"What is this?" Evelyn stared in confusion.

"Silly, can't you tell? This is an art studio." He curved his lips, lowering his head to kiss hers briefly.

"Of course I can see it's an art studio. Why did you bring me here?" Evelyn felt weak all over and just wanted to sleep. "I want to go to bed."

Luke picked up a sketching pencil, placing it in her hand, then wrapped his large hand around hers, guiding her to the easel.

"I want to see what kind of masterpiece you can create when you're with me."

When she fully grasped the meaning behind his words, her heart jolted.

"Luke, you've lost your mind!"

His low voice fell against her ear again, "Back then, you tore up my portrait. I was very angry. When I returned, I built this art studio for you."

"Today, you're going to use it properly. You must repaint it for me." His declaration brooked no argument.

Without giving her time to think or refuse, he had already begun new movements.

He forcibly guided her hand to make wild strokes across the white paper, the pencil tip leaving chaotic lines across the canvas...

Until the entire sheet was completely covered in scribbles, unrecognizable from its original state.

Until she cried and begged for mercy, her voice hoarse.

Only then was he finally satisfied, reaching his climax.

Evelyn had long been defeated utterly, regretting deeply that she'd come out with him.

He was a demon who knew exactly how to manipulate her.

Luke kissed her tear-stained eyes, finally content as he carried her to the bathroom for cleaning.

Later, she couldn't remember how she'd fallen asleep.

She only felt herself constantly floating, sometimes on the ocean, sometimes in the clouds.

...

Meanwhile, when Nicholas and Emma returned to the Harrison Mansion, the entire household was in chaos.

All the servants and bodyguards in the mansion were frantically searching everywhere for Edward's whereabouts like headless chickens.

Robert and Mia were beside themselves with worry, having already called the police, who were rushing over.

"Edward is missing, what should we do?" Robert's eyes were red with anxiety, his voice trembling.

"I've already sealed off the entire mansion. Whoever has hidden Edward, not one of them will escape."

Emma patted his hand gently. "Grandpa, don't worry. We'll find Edward."

Nicholas pulled out his phone, dialing Ethan's number once more, opening with a demand.

"Where is she?"

On the other end, Ethan stood in Nina's hotel room, pacing frantically like an ant on a hot pan.

"Security footage shows she entered the room ten minutes ago."

"But she's not in the room now. She probably went out to play again."

"Call her immediately." Nicholas's voice sounded ready to crawl through the phone. He was going insane.

Ethan's face flushed red instantly, his voice dropping. "I haven't had time to buy her a new phone yet."

"Ethan, are you short the money for a phone?"

"She's stolen my son now. Check where she usually likes to go and send people out to find her immediately."

Nicholas barked the order, his insides churning. He really regretted bringing Nina back.

"Already searching." Ethan's voice was full of apology. "Don't worry, she's still young and doesn't understand."

Hearing this, Nicholas's anger shot straight to the top of his head.

"Damn it." He hung up directly.

Ethan stared at the disconnected phone, not having time to feel dejected before hurrying out...

This little ancestor had only been back one day and had already thrown two families into panic. If she stayed three days, wouldn't the world be in chaos?

No one knew that at this moment, Nina was sitting on the roof of the Harrison Mansion, holding the sleeping baby and quietly watching the moonlight.

She gently patted the little one's back, rocking softly as the child slept peacefully.

Around the baby's tiny wrist was a silver bracelet with a ruby the size of a grain of rice set in the center, the gem refracting special glimmers in the darkness.

She had just finished delivering gifts to Evelyn's two children and had gotten trapped on the rooftop. Later, when she saw Luke climbing up, she left.

Running back to the hotel for a quick drink of water, she'd come out again immediately—this time to bring Edward a gift.

Suddenly, soft shuffling sounds came from the roof. Her body trembled slightly.

"Nina, it's me, don't be afraid."

Emma's voice called out first.

"Don't leave, wait for me."

Finally, Emma's head appeared from below the eaves as she struggled to climb up, her legs already weak.

Originally, Nicholas had insisted on coming up, but she'd stopped him, insisting on doing it herself. The people below immediately set up a ladder for her.

Emma spotted Danny holding the child and her suspended heart finally settled.

Moonlight spilled across his handsome features, lending him an ethereal coolness.

"Emma, how did you get up here?" Nina asked curiously.

Emma took two deep breaths before slowly approaching her, keeping her voice gentle without a trace of blame.

"Why did you bring the baby up to the roof? Everyone's worried sick."

Nina looked embarrassed. "I came to bring Edward a gift. He looked so cute, I just wanted to hold him for a while."

"I didn't expect so many people to rush in suddenly. I had no choice but to hide up here."

"I thought I'd wait for everyone to leave and then quietly put the baby back." She flashed an innocent smile, completely unaware that the people below had no intention of dispersing.

She lifted the baby's tiny wrist. "The gift I chose for Edward—I customized it a bit. Isn't it pretty?"

Emma nodded and smiled too. "Very beautiful. Thank you."

Just then, Emma's phone rang. She quickly answered.

"Yes, the baby and I are on the roof. Don't worry, we'll be down soon. Tell everyone to disperse."

Nicholas on the other end let out a heavy sigh of relief at these words.

What a mess. This girl absolutely had to be sent away.

Emma gently patted the baby's tiny hand, looking up at Nina. "Nina, you can't bring children to the rooftop anymore. What if someone fell?"

Nina smiled. "They won't fall. They're so small, I hold them very securely."

Emma continued, "But when you suddenly take the children away, everyone worries."

Nina thought about it, finally realizing she'd made a mistake.

"Emma, I'm sorry. When they came in, I just panicked."

Emma stroked her head gently. "Next time you want to see the three babies, tell me and I'll bring them out to play with you, okay?"

"Really?" Her eyes sparkled with bright light, excitement written all over her face.

"Of course. You're the children's little aunt." Emma smiled. "But you have to promise me—no more using your abilities randomly."

"If bad people track you down, you might get captured and never see the babies again."

Nina nodded vigorously. "Sorry, Emma. I promise I won't use my abilities carelessly anymore."

"Good girl. Now let's go down. Ethan has been searching for you all night—he must be worried sick."

"Okay. Then I'll use them one last time." Nina nodded, grasping her wrist.

In just one second, all three were transported from the rooftop to Emma's master bedroom.

Emma's soul nearly left her body. Holy hell, that was too cool.

Just then, the harsh sound of car brakes screeched outside the window. Ethan had arrived at the Harrison Mansion.

Emma hurried downstairs carrying the baby. When the family saw Edward in her arms, they all rushed over excitedly.

Nicholas burst through the door, striding forward to pull both her and the child tight against him.

His tall frame carried the cool air from outside, yet provided infinite comfort.

He lowered his head to kiss the baby's small face before finally letting his suspended heart settle.

After everyone dispersed, Emma brought Danny out and handed him over to Ethan.

The luxury car wound down the mountain roads. By now, it was nearly dawn.

Nina looked at him cautiously. "Sorry for making you come get me so late."

Ethan glanced at her sideways, his eyes holding no trace of reproach, his voice gentle as always. "No need to apologize. Just give me half your bed tonight."

"You can't go home again?"

"What do you think?" He gave her a look that said 'figure it out yourself.'

Nina fell silent.
