Epilogue

I smiled from the porch. Watching as Zeke chased the three little humans running away from him. One of them having his same dark hair and blue eyes. The little guy was the spitting image of his father. Even though Ryder was only three years old he was equally intelligent and every bit the future Alpha.

The other two little girls belonged to Serenity and Diesel. They were twins and had been inseparable from Ryder since they had been born. Diesel was crazy protective of them, especially since finding out they were girls. He was a real softy, Serenity even told me they had coerced him into a few tea parties. I smiled as Zeke scooped up all three boys in his arms, all of them squealing with laughter.

Serenity chuckled beside me and I smiled as I rubbed my belly. There was another little pup inside waiting to be born. Doctor Scet said he/she would be born within the next three weeks. And I was very excited to meet them. As if reading my thoughts they gave a firm kick, also very excited.

"Ouch," I mumbled as I rubbed my side.

"Are you okay Luna?" Isabella asked from beside me, her green eyes scrunching in concern as she held onto Avery's hand. The two of them were mates, while Willow was still 'freelancing' as she liked to claim. I smiled at her while continuing to rub my belly.

"Fine, someones just a little excited to come out." I giggled softly, a few females laughed back. There were 13 of us in total now. They had slowly been turning up, one by one. Seeking protection from the 'Southern Luna'. A few had even found their mates here, and three of them were currently pregnant. Serenity and I were the only two females to have given birth. It wasn't much but it was something.

And we had fought tooth and claw for many years to get here. To this level of safety and comfort where females felt confident enough to seek us out, and give birth to new pups. Now, other territories mostly stayed to themselves, unable to compete with the sheer size and ferocity of Zeke's pack and territory. Those that thought to try and challenge Zeke's rule had been quickly snuffed out.

I smiled as Ryder came bounding up the wooden porch stairs towards me. I opened my arms ready to receive his little frame just as he crashed into me, careful to avoid my stomach.

"When they coming out Mommy?" He asked as he patted the side of my swollen stomach.

"Hopefully soon," Zeke replied as he came up the top of the stairs, one little girl hanging off his shoulder and the other one being carried upside down by her foot. Both were laughing hysterically, their faces expressions of joy.

Serenity laughed as the girls were gently lowered to the floor. Quickly running over to her.

"Did you see that Mom, I nearly out ran Uncle Zeke!" Opal exclaimed in excitement.

"It's Alpha Zeke sweetie," Serenity tapped her on the nose. Zeke just smiled at the two of them before speaking;

"You're going to be a very fast wolf someday." Opal absolutely beamed from the compliment given to her by her Alpha. She would be an absolute handful someday. Her little rebellious spirit already shining through. She would be a leader that was for sure.

"How you feeling?" Zeke asked me as he kissed me on the cheek.

"Good, ready for this little person to come out." He nodded at me.

"Me too."
