Chapter 86 The Found Me!

Chapter 86 The Found Me!
BELLA'S POV

The monster is still alive! I am still having a hard time accepting it.

My biological mother didn't even bother keeping Usher away from us as she had promised. Or Usher went wild when she realized she would die if we get married and thought the only way to save herself would be to kidnap someone we care about. Either way I will send her back to being dead!

The only person that would know where Usher would be is her mom. That's what we have concluded after everyone had overcome with their shock and was able to think straight.

Usher's mother lied in order to bring her daughter back to life. She could be part of this too.

So I and Hayden are going to pay her home a visit. And that's not tomorrow's work, we are doing it now. Usher is a beautiful beast and we can't trust that she is taking care of Skylar. She only now's how to take care of herself.

"I am not going to be sweet to the woman." Hayden says standing beside me, ready to take off. "I thought it's right I tell you since she is your biological mother and you may . . .care -"

"I don't. If she is part of kidnapping Skylar, I will break her bones with my bare hands!" I mutter.

He gives me a solicitous look. "Don't let this one bad thing mess your kind personality. We will find Skylar and bring him back home, I promise."

There is so much anger and fear inside of me that I am not sure I will be able to restrain myself from hurting the woman that has caused all this.

Let's hope I will be more calm by the time we get there. Hayden reaches out for my hand and we take off.

It's the first time we are flying hand in hand andwe are not going out for a tour. I am surprised when Hayden suddenly starts descending since I didn't think Usher's real home was so close to the palace.

I follow him and we land on a small lawn in front of a two story house with big windows.

We make our way to the front door and knock. "I think Usher is back, open the door for her." I hear Usher's mother order someone.

Sounds like she was expecting her to come back here. Is she also expecting her to bring Skylar?

The door swings open seconds later and the short woman that used to be Usher's servant gapes up at us in shock.

"Uh . . . I . . . your Majesty . . .uhmm . . . nice to see you-"

"Is Angel Usher inside?" Hayden asks in the most threatening voice I have ever heard.

"No . . . she . . . she came to the palace. Haven't you seen her?" The servant answers with trembling lips. "She wanted to . . .ask you two to . . . "

"Anna who is there?" Usher's mother shouts from inside.

I motion the servant to move aside. She steps back and holds the door wide open. We both march inside and the woman seated on the couch leaps to her feet.

I can see her whole body quivering as she stares at us. Did she think her daughter would kidnap my little brother and we wouldn't show up at her home?

"Prince Hayden . . . welcome to my -" She starts but Hayden cuts her short.

"Give me a single reason why I shouldn't cut your head off and throw it out through the window?!' Hayden utters, looking like he will tear her into shreds.

"I am so sorry your Majesty! I just wanted my baby girl back." She weeps. She is so good at faking sorrow.

"And you planned to kidnap my brother to keep your baby girl alive?" I snap.

Her wet eyes turns to me. "What are you talking about?"

I take a bold step towards her, she steps back. "Don't text my patience! " I snarl. She may be my biological mother, but I won't loose Skylar because of her.

"But I really don't know what you're talking about!" She shrieks.

I promised myself that I won't believe her so easily this time. She and her daughter are great liars.

"Where is Usher?" Hayden asks.

"She hasn't come back." She quickly answers.

"From where?"

"She said she was going to talk to you. She realized she would die if you get married, so she thought she could beg you to consider living together without a marriage so she can live as well." She says.

"Why did she kidnap my little brother then? Why didn't she come talk to us like you say?" I question.

"She kidnapped your brother?! I . . . why would she do that?!" She squeaks, lowers herself back to her seat and buries her face in her palms.

"You know where she is, don't you?" Hayden roars.

"No! She hasn't come back here." She answers. Her heart is beating so hard that I can hear each pump of blood.

"I did bring her back, but she became uncontrollable when she learned that she would die when you get married. She didn't tell me anything about kidnapping a little kid!" She adds.

"You expect us to believe that?" Hayden scoffs.

"I could have done a lot of things to help Usher save her life, but kidnapping a child isn't one of them." She answers.

"Then tell us where she took him."

She runs her fingers through her styled air in distress and messes it up. "Can you promise you won't kill her again? Pleeeease!"

"Either tell me where she is or your head will be the first to roll!" Hayden roars.

It takes a long time for her to mull over her few options. Most mothers would rather risk their own death but not that of their child. Usher's mother surprises me by doing the opposite.

"I had sent her to my cousin's home in Silver Moon Pack after bringing her back to life. I think that's where she would run." She reveals.

"How about you give us more details about where this home is." I demand.

She is once again hesitant to offer the information. "Can you at least tell me you won't kill her?"

"Would you rather die on her behalf?"

"No . . . honey this is your sister we are talking about!" She pleads.

"She is not my sister and you're not my mother!" I snap. She goes silent.

"Are you going to speak or should I go ahead and chop your head off!" Hayden threatens. The woman trembles.

"It's a small farm house in the outskirts of Silver Moon market. There is only one single house and a cowshed right outside." She explains.

USHER'S POV

Kids are endless trouble! Their small minds simply can't understand when situations change.

Ever since I carried my sister's little brother with me back to this tinny farm house, he has been either screaming, crying or insulting me.

I have never planned to be a mother. Not one that cares much about kids. So you can guess how much his cries irritates me.

I had to lie to my mother's cousin that he is a son of my mother's best friend. But the fact that he keeps trying to run away from me is making them doubt my words.

"Has the two of you ever met before? It's like he is terrified of you!" My mother's cousin observes.

I have been trying to feed the boy milk and fried eggs she made but he keeps moving away.

"He has always been with his mom. But she is sick so I offered to look after him while she gets better." I lie.

"But how will you keep him here if he won't eat?" She asks.

"Angel Hayden will come for me and he will punish you for taking me away from uncle West!" The boy screams.

I want to snap at him to keep quiet but my mother's cousin is still standing at the door.

"What is he talking about?" She asks.

"Nothing. He is just a dreamy kid." I say.

Something however tells me he is right about something. The connection I have with Hayden usually feels very weak when I am this far from Scorpion palace. But something now feels off. The connection is a little stronger than it has ever been.

Could he be close? Could he have actually found out where I ran? I rush to the window and peep out. My feet go weak at the sight of the two golden winged angels descending from the Sky.

Yeah, they found me!
