Alex's POV.
“Hey man, where are you at?” Steve's voice boomed in my ear as soon as he picked up my call. “I need you to take care of everything at the office today. I won't be coming in.”
“What's going on?” He asked.
I went ahead to tell him everything that transpired between Sophia and that bastard Allerton yesterday and the plans I had for her today.
I didn't give him details of how I solved that problem though. The less he knew, the less he could use to tease me with.
“That guy is fucked up! The bastard!” Steve said angrily.
“Do whatever you gotta do man, I'll take care of everything here.”
I thought I heard him mutter ‘finally’ but didn't bother to confront him about what he meant. “Thank you, man,” I said, hanging up.
I walked over to my car, already eager to be with her again.

Sophia's POV.
A gasp escaped my throat and my breathing hitched, taking in his sight. For the first time since I knew him, he was wearing something other than formal.
The blue button-down shirt and denim jeans with black shoes made him look younger than usual.
Muscles were bulging out of his t-shirt and I could almost see his abs from under the t-shirt. To say that he was looking handsome would be an understatement.
He was looking drop-dead handsome! I could jump on him right now and kiss him all over. Damn, my dirty mind.
I averted my gaze away from his face and just hoped that he didn't see me eyeing him.
I noticed his eyes snapped towards mine, taking me all in. His eyes raked up and down my body and I shifted from foot to foot. The blush was back on my cheeks, along with the butterflies in my tummy.
After a few minutes of awkwardness, he finally said “Shall we get going then?” I nodded my head and at the same time, answered ‘Yes’
We walked towards his car and he opened the passenger side door for me and I melted instantly at his sweet gesture. He closed the door right after I was seated.
The entire ride to wherever we were going was silent. He kept on giving me side glances all this while and I tried to ignore the blush that was forming on my cheeks from his stare as much as I could.
I didn't know why his stare or his touch affected me so much but it just did and there was nothing I could do to not feel the way he was making me feel right now.
One thing was clear, I felt something for him and I was falling deep, way too deep for him. My body almost instantly reacts to all of his touches, his presence, his stare, and his voice.
Ohhh that voice! Makes me wet down there.
Twenty minutes later, we were standing outside a park and a smile instantly came to my face.
“I hope you don't mind here. I just thought it was a good place to get your mind off everything.”
“I love parks! Thank you.” I said, with a wide smile spread across my face. It has been a long time since I visited a park and I was more than excited to swing.
Don't judge me, I love swings.
My eyes roamed around the surroundings and a blissful smile spread on my face when I looked at a family sitting far under a tree, laughing and clapping. Oh, how I wish I had my own family like that too.
A squeeze on my shoulder brought me out of the trance and I turned my head to find Alex smiling at me. As if his hand on my shoulder was not enough, he had to go and give me that amazing smile of his, making my heart melt.
Just then, the couple standing across from us, spoke up, “Aww Corey, just look at them, aren't they adorable?”
Corey nodded his head “Of course they do.”
“Uh no—” I started, wanting to clear all their misunderstanding when Alex beat me to it.
“Thank you. You both have got a wonderful family as well.”
“And humble too, it's so rare to find young couples with manners. It was good meeting you.” The woman said, to which Alex nodded his head and politely smiled at her.
“Dad, Cam is hitting me!” One of their kids complained and Corey shook his head, giving them both a fatherly stare.
“Cam, stop hitting your brother.” He scolded.
“But Dad, he called me an idiot!” Cam complained.
Corey just shook his head.
“We shall get going now. Hope to see you again sometime soon.” Corey said.
“Definitely,” I said, waving at him to which he waved back before walking away with their kids.
“Hey babe,” Alex spoke from behind me. His closeness made me stiff and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. His hands were resting on my waist, making my heart go crazy.
He was being cozy in public, something that he had never done before. Anyone could see us, click a photo, and make a perfect headline for tomorrow's newspaper — he is a billionaire for goodness sake!
“Mr Hayes—”
He interrupted. “Alex."
“Alex, we're in public,” I spoke, pushing him away slightly.
“Fuck! My name sounds so perfect coming out of your mouth.” he moaned.
My cheeks went red instantly and I turned around to push him away, but the closeness between us made my heart beat faster.
“You're not allowed to ever call me Mr Hayes anymore, understood?” I nodded my head and bit my lip in nervousness. His eyes turned red and he pulled me even closer, making me gasp. Just when he was about to smash his lips on mine, I pushed him hard and pulled away from him.
“What the fu—” I put my hand on his mouth to stop him from cussing.
“There are kids everywhere around here, behave!” My eyes widened when I realized what I had done and I quickly pulled my hand away from his mouth, so quickly like it had been burnt.
“So hot.” He whispered ever so slightly that I was sure I would've missed it if I wasn't standing so close.
Just then, he smashed his lips on mine, kissing me passionately.
