Two days later.
At Sage College
"Fei, Fei..."Mary Yun exclaimed as soon as she finally spotted the one she had been waiting for.
So she trotted to that girl.
The girl was no one but the spoiled daughter of Huo's family, Jennifer Huo.
They went to the same school but different classes.
"Mary..."Jennifer Huo raised her eyebrow, surprised,"You're calling me?"
Mary Yun chuckled, handed a shopping bag to her and said,"This is the latest arrival of Louie Vuitton. I feel it will just suit you perfectly so I give it to you."
A glint flashed in Jennifer Huo's eyes. She opened the shopping bag to check the gift.
"Fei, what are your brother doing these days?"
Jennifer Huo slightly sneered,"You two are going to be engaged, and you should be the person who knows the answer most, right?"
Being a little bit embarrassed, Mary Yun derided,"I see that he has been extremely busy these days and I do not wanna interrupt him..."
"Well, That's definitely correct. My brother signed contracts worthy of billions of yuan everyday. Mary, let me give you a piece of advice. Do not impede my brother even if you two do get married in the end. He is responsible for the entire GEG Group. If you are disobedient, well, the title of Mrs. Huo... will just be a flash in the pan."
"Yeah, of course. Fei, didn't you say you like Karl's designs? Here is his name card, I have already made a reservation so that you could go to him for a customized outfit whenever you like."
It was out of Jennifer Huo's expectation, she then asked,"You can even contact with Karl? He is the most prominent designer who only designs eight attires exclusively for super stars!"
"Tell me about it. Let me say, you're brighter than all these movie stars. It is Karl's honor to design for you!"
After hearing that, Jennifer Huo chuckled,"Then thank you anyway."She took the card and said,"That's right, I remember my brother is visiting the NO. 1 hospital these days."
"He goes to the hospital? Is he ill?"Mary Yun was worried immediately.
"Well, not that serious. My mother said that someone extremely important to the company was in hospital. So he is just paying a visit."
Mary Yun was speechless. How could it be that she hadn't heard about it?
"Mary, well, I have an appointment. So I gotta bail."Jennifer Huo put the card away carefully in her handbag.
"Okay, well then."Mary Yun handed her the Louie Vuitton bag.
Jennifer Huo took it and was about to leave. But she quickly turned around and said,"Actually..."
"What's the matter?"Mary Yun asked anxiously.
"Mary, I don't like the latest arrivals in the future if you wanna give me gifts. I only use limited editions for I don't like seeing the same collection being carried by someone else."
Mary Yun clutched her fists.
What a rich chick who liked to take advantages.
"Luo Jennifer, after I marry to your brother and become your sister-in-law, you will be doomed."
But...
What was that NO. 1 hospital? Who was that important person?
She had to go to the hospital to check!
At the hospital.
"Mom, let's go back. Its freezing outside!" Linda Yun was strolling with her mother.
The last time, the chemo was such a great success that Patricia Bai looked much more healthier now.
And recently she had been having a walk around the garden longer than before.
"Okay."Patricia Bai smiled. Both of them walked back to the building.
It was not too crowded in the lobby, nor were there many people waiting for the elevators at this moment.
"Well, that's right. Can you go there and buy some milk of red bean flavor?"Patricia Bai suggested.
"Mom, you wanna drink that?"
"Not for me, its for Barbara. She likes this flavor. She has brought us fruits this time. You just buy a box of milk for her to take home next time she comes."
"I'll escort you to the room and then go to the store."Just then, the elevator came down to the first floor.
"Just go ahead. I can go back alone. I'll just wait for you at the corridor."Patricia Bai waved her hands to show that she would be fine.
After seeing that, Linda Yun didn't say anything else. Her mother liked to walk around in the corridor if she was bored.
"Well, I'll be right back. Mom, you must be tired, wait for me in the ward, okay?"Linda Yun exhorted.
"Alright!"Patricia Bai replied and slowly stepped in the elevator.
It was not until the elevator door closed that Linda Yun headed to the store.
However, the moment she stepped into the shop, two tall men came over.
"Mr. Huo, I have arranged it perfectly that Mr. Meng's children will be here tomorrow to take care of him."
Michael Huo didn't reply. He was still wearing a mask and giving out an indifferent aura.
Actually, Mr. Meng was merely a veteran employee to Michael Huo.
It was just enough for him to see that old man once.
He just didn't get it why he had to continuously visit him for these three days.
What was he doing?
The man frowned and was a little bit pissed off.
"Mr Huo, I'm buying some milk for him."Joe Guo saw that those people around were all having something in hand, so he couldn't help saying.
The man nodded but stood there and didn't move.
On noticing this, Joe Guo rushed to the store immediately.
A few seconds later.
Two figures appeared out of the shop.
"Thank you by the way. I always use Alipay instead of cash. But my phone is left in my car, so I'll transfer you the money later."Joe Guo, a box of milk in hand, smiled.
Linda Yun chuckled to him in her mask and replied,"It doesn't matter. You don't have to."
"Well, this is my name card. My phone number is my WeChat account. You can friend me and I'll transfer you money."Joe Guo took out the card and handed it to her.
"Okay!"Linda Yun took the name card right away without checking the information on it.
"The elevator's here. Hurry up."Joe Guo noticed the elevator had already arrived at the first floor.
Linda Yun started to dash to the elevator.
Both of them knew that it was killing to wait for an elevator.
However, when she was about to stop, that slender guy sitting in front of the elevator door turned around...
The pair of deep charming eyes...
It was him!
For an instant, her legs froze like being halted by thousands of tons'weight...
