BONUS CHAPTER 3
MELISSA QUIZON
"I like this one," I said while tasting the different flavors of the cake for our wedding.
"But, baby, I hate strawberries," Wright said sweetly as he caressed my thigh.
"But I want this. Please? Just give it a shot. Hmm." I extended the spoon to his lips.
His face turned sour, and he shook his head. I pouted and said, "Please." He sighed and ate the cake.
Reid tugged on my blouse to get my attention. "Mommy, I want it too."
I split the cake and put it on my saucer and fed it to Reid. I wiped the edge of his lip because there was icing on it. I turned to Wright and saw him spitting the piece of cake into the tissue as I frowned at him.
"Sorry." Guilt was visible on his face.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "Really?"
Nervously, he said, "I'm sorry, okay? I don't like strawberries. But if that's what makes you happy, fine. I can bear the taste."
"Thanks, baby," I said happily and kissed his left cheek. He smiled sweetly. I looked at the wedding planner and Exquisite's owner, Miss Ysabella Santiago, sitting in front of us. "We've decided."
"Very nice choice, Mrs. Agoncillo. The flavor you chose is one of our best sellers," said Miss Santiago, the owner of Exquisite.
Wright held my hand as we talked to the wedding planner and Miss Santiago. Reid, on the other hand, just ate cakes while playing on his PSP.
Our conversation lasted almost two hours. I noticed Reid get down from his chair and move over to Wright's seat.
"Daddy, my PSP is low battery. Let's go home," Reid's said sweetly to Wright. Reid climbed into Wright's lap and wrapped his arms around his father's neck.
"Wait a minute, son."
"I'm getting bored," my son whispered before squeezing his head against Wright's neck.
"You look very beautiful in pink, Mrs. Agoncillo," the wedding planner said, referring to my wedding gown.
I smiled at him. "Thank you. And my husband too, right?"
"What?" Wright said in shock. "I'm going to wear pink on our wedding day?"
"Isn't that wonderful?" I teased.
"No. I'm not going to wear my tuxedo if it's pink, baby. I'm begging you."
"That's boring. Okay, fine. Violet, then. It will be a good combination, don't you think?" I giggled when I saw his face darken. "I'm just teasing you, okay?"
"You just wait…" he said devilishly.
I avoided his eyes. I smiled at our wedding planner and continued talking to him.
When we finished choosing the flavor of the cake, the color of my wedding gown, and the bridesmaids, we said goodbye to the wedding planner and Miss Santiago.
"Reid is asleep?" I asked as we walked towards where our car was.
I wiped Reid's forehead, which was protruding from Wright's back, because of the sweat forming there.
"Our son is impatient," Wright said.
"Just like you."
"That's you again, eh. When it's negative feedback, it's from me. But when it's positive, it's yours. Girls," he said while shaking his head in disbelief.
"Because I'm always right."
"Yeah. You're right."
"Who's the hero who is always naked?" I asked while we were still walking sideways. The question meant nothing. I just wanted to talk.
He raised an eyebrow. "Who?"
"Undress Bonifacio," I said before laughing because of my joke. I realized that he was just staring at me and didn't even laugh at my joke.
"Make sure that when you joke, we both laugh," he said seriously.
I frowned at him. "You're so bad."
I quickly opened the backseat door, but Wright stopped my arm.
"I'm not done yet," he said while staring at me with love in his eyes.
"You're not done insulting my joke?"
He smiled and pushed the car door shut. He pressed me up against it even though Reid was in his arms. "Make sure we both laugh at your joke. Not that you're the only one laughing, and I'm the only one falling in love."
I caught my breath when I heard what he had said. I couldn't say anything because I felt like I had swallowed my tongue.
Ugh!
Fuck.
I loved this sick bastard.
His lips dropped to mine. His kiss was light. I clung to his waist because of the trembling of my knees. We couldn't move properly because Reid was asleep between us. Wright couldn't hug me because he was holding Reid so he wouldn't fall.
I moaned as he lightly bit my lower lip.
"Wright, my knees are trembling," I mumbled.
"Are you going to melt, baby? Do you want more?" he whispered.
"Yes," I breathed out.
"I can't hold you properly. Ugh." He traced my jaw with his hot lips.
"It's hot." We pulled away from each other when we heard Reid speak.
We had not noticed that we were under the sun. I immediately opened the back seat door, and Wright set Reid down inside.
Reid immediately lay down inside and wiped away his sweat. We hurried into the car, and Wright turned on the aircon.
"Why were we spending so much time under the sun, Daddy?" Reid sat up and fastened the seatbelt over his body.
"Uh, your mom and wanted to sunbathe," Wright excused.
"Mommy isn't in a swimsuit, is she?" Reid asked innocently.
"She almost undressed in front of me, eh," Wright said softly, but I still heard him.
I gasped and slapped him on the thigh. And he complained.
"What are you mumbling, Daddy?"
"Nothing, son, I just savored the strawberry on your Mommy's lips," he said loudly while grinning widely.
I was about to pinch him, but he restrained my hand and brought it to his lips.
"But you hate strawberries, Dad," Reid said while untying his sneakers.
"I love them now," he said seductively while licking my middle finger.
