You're Really Beautiful
The moment I arrived back in class, I noticed that Vagamound's figure wasn't anywhere to be found. San and the others' seats were also empty.
Could they have taken permission to leave the classroom together?
Towards the end of the lesson, the group soon arrived one by one, but Vagamound was the only one missing among them.
I wanted to ask San about his whereabouts. However, the teacher's stern voice suddenly rang out, cutting off whatever I was about to ask.
...
‘Ding, ding, ding.' The bell for lunch break rang out, and the corridor was instantly filled with students rushing towards the cafeteria to get their meal.
Ivy and I moved among the waves and arrived at the school cafeteria.
After collecting our lunch trays, we both walked towards the empty seats in the hall.
On the way, Ivy suddenly nudged my shoulder. “Belia, look who's coming over.”
“Huh.” Confusedly, I lifted my head in the direction she was looking at, only to see a figure heading towards us.
“Sean,” I called.
“Hi.” Sean arrived at our front and greeted Ivy and me with a smile. “You asked me to eat lunch with you this afternoon; do you remember?”
“Sure. Let's go find some seats and eat together.” I gesture forward, and we both head towards the empty seats at the back of the dining hall.
Ivy kept grinning from ear to ear as she followed behind us.
Just from her smile, I could guess what she was thinking about.
We sat down and began to eat our lunch.
During the meal, I saw Ivy sneaking a glance at Sean and me while giggling to herself.
Knowing that she must be thinking some weird stuff in her head, I sneakily pressed my feet against hers.
“Aww.” Ivy turned her head and glared at me.
“What?” I looked at her, blinking my eyes innocently.
“Nothing. I'm going to use the restroom.” She excused herself and left the hall.
“Is your friend okay?” Sean asked concernedly.
“Of course, she is. She just needs to use the restroom and nothing else.” I answered.
“Oh.” Sean didn't think much of it and went back to his food.
Just as I was about to lower my head and continue eating, I saw a familiar figure heading towards us.
“Hi.” The person waved and greeted warmly.
A frown appeared on my face when I saw who it was.
Natasi.
What does she want from me?
Sean also noticed Natasi's appearance. His eyes became gloomy when he saw her.
“What is it?” His tone was filled with annoyance.
Natasi also noticed the dissatisfaction of the other party towards her. But she wasn't any less angry.
“I just wanted to ask if the seat beside you two is taken, but… it looks like you two don't find me welcoming. May I ask why?”
“Why should we answer that?” Sean responded in a cold tone.
This was the first time I would ever see him get annoyed at someone. Could there be a vendetta between the two of them?
“I'm sorry.” Natasi apologize. “I see that you seem very dissatisfied with me, and I don't know why. This is the first time I'm meeting you, yet it looks as if we are some sort of long-term enemies.”
‘Pah.' The sound of the metal spoon slamming onto the table was very loud.
“I just lost my appetite. Let's get out of here, Belia.” Sean stood up and pulled me out of the hall with him.
“Wai-” I wanted to ask him to wait for Ivy's return, but seeing the cold look in his eyes, I swiftly shut my mouth.
Who knew that the cute Sean could be this scary?

“Humm… That girl inside, is she the Natasi I know of?” I looked at Sean in question as we arrived at the wide football field.
“No,” Sean responded.
No?
If then, why were you so angry at her?
“But she's not a good person,” Sean added as he looked down at his hand that was locked against mine.
“Oh. Is that so?” I looked back at the cafeteria building, wondering what Sean meant by not being a good person.
Suddenly, I felt the hold on my palm tighten.
“Your palm is so soft, Belia.” His voice fell into my ears.
“Ahh.” My face turned red when I realized that we had been holding hands since we got out of the hall.
I hurriedly pulled my hand away from his. “Thanks.”
Sean felt dissatisfied when he saw that the soft feeling in his hand was gone. But there was nothing he could do about it.
“May I ask you something?” I asked as we continued walking towards the class.
“Sure, go on.” Sean nodded his head.
“About the murder of Princess Xiao Wu, have you people found the murderer?” I perked my ears up, waiting to hear his answer.
Sean's footsteps halted the moment he heard my question.
There was a long silence between us before he finally answered. “Yes.”
“Really?” My eyes went wide in surprise. “Who?”
“Big brother told me not to tell you, or else, your life might be in danger if I did.”
He then turned sideways and looked at me with a serious expression. “You're very precious to me, and I don't want to lose you.”
His hand gently caressed my face as he said this. “Have I ever told you that you look beautiful, Belia?”
“You did. Several times.” I answered, gulping down when I saw how close he was to me.
‘Damn, why is my heart beating so fast?’
“Then I'll say it again.” He lowered his head to my right ear and whispered. “You're really beautiful.”
My body instantly turned warm, and I flushed in embarrassment.
Sean pulled himself backward and laughed when he saw my flushed face.
Ahh! What's happening to me? Why's my heart jumping so fast?
You can't fall for him, Belia. You can't!
“Ha-ha. It would be great if I could have you as my sister-in-law.” Sean muttered as we continued walking.
