Epilogue

Theo and Ayla

After the war, things didn’t magically clear up between Ayla and Theo, sadly. After the war, the two realized they had to rethink things carefully. They both still loved each other more than anything and still wanted to be together however they struggled to do it in a way they were both happy with it, it felt a little too rushed for them. At that time Ayla was still finishing up werewolf medical school whilst Theo had been promoted to alpha immediately, you could tell the pressure added quite a lot to their relationship especially for Ayla who had to act like a luna.

After the war Theo realized there was nothing more important than his mate and her dreams, he became devoted to changing their relationship for the better, so he followed Ayla into therapy. He was skeptical at first, but things did indeed change for the better. The only thing he then struggled with was finding someone to help out with the workload given Ayla was very much busy with being a doctor and as much as she helped as Luna there were still many things to do. Theo hesitated at first to ask Roman for advice, but Ayla pushed him to go do it.

When he turned to his brother for advice, Roman recommended getting a young beta. The one they currently had was more than ready for retirement, Uncle Ethan sure was ready for it. Their nephew Jace would’ve been next in line, but he preferred becoming a lawyer, so they of course had to find someone else.

Roman knew exactly who’d be perfect for the position, their childhood friend, Isabella Weller, daughter of Daniel and Finn Weller. Daniel, Finn, and Isabelle had moved back from Germany to the USA for good. Natalia was happy to have her best friend in town and Finn and Daniel were happy for their daughter, she would be a beta! They couldn’t be happier and not forget to be more thankful to Roman and Theo when really it’s their daughter who got herself the spot. All Roman did was mention her name and all that Theo did was give her the chance to accept or decline.

Three years later

Theo and Ayla finally got married, they were both at their happiest and their relationship was going more than just well. Theo had become a great alpha, of course, he took a lot of advice from his parents as well as his older brother. Ayla was one of the best doctors in their pack and little by little she managed her schedule much more to be able to do her Luna duties. With a healthy and protected pack, she didn’t have that much to do as a werewolf doctor. Isabella hasn’t let them down either, so everything was going well at the silver moon pack.

Tessa Santoro’s story…

After the war Tessa realized just how precious life was, she didn’t want to waste her time sitting around. She wanted to do more with her life and with the pack being taken over by her brother she was pretty much free to choose what she wanted to do with her life. She's a 22-year-old single wolf and there were lots she could do. She finished up college and took the path of project manager. The blonde realized something, she wanted to go to the lycan blood pack. She couldn’t explain why but she just wanted to, she felt like she could accomplish something there. Her relationship with Roman Sterling sure did get her in. She was happy to be there, she’d start out in the alpha’s special team as Beta. Roman warned her there would be a lot of training but she was up for it but was happy too in the end…

Roman and Tallulah’s story…

After the night they had mated it was clear they wanted to be with each other, not because of the prophecy the Moon Goddess had planned out. Roman and Tallulah went on with their relationship, Roman realized he’d have to resign from being Beta if he wanted to focus on his relationship not to mention he’d become king when things were so far. That happened a lot sooner than he would’ve thought. Within one year of being with Tallulah, Tristan had told them the ceremony should be happening. The kingdom has waited long enough to be ruled by two and the two went through with the full coronation, they were mated after all.

Roman would be lying if he said he didn’t hesitate a little, part of him was still scared of being rejected again, what if she never believes him if something were to happen again? He never told her about those feelings. His relationship with his family had healed again but with his parents, you could tell there was still a slight strain on their relationship.

A year after the coronation Roman could tell Tallulah is starting to wonder why he hadn’t popped the question yet; did he not want to marry her?

Tallulah pushed aside her thoughts and started to get ready. She picked out a floral printed mini skirt that hugged her hips nicely, she paired it with a pastel yellow cropped long-sleeved top. She put out her nude sandal and purse and sat down by her vanity and brushed her red curls into a half updo style then proceeded to use warm tones for her make-up. By the time she was done getting ready she had to rush out.

Roman told her where to meet him, this time he couldn’t pick her up. He had to prepare things for their date. Tallulah was confused why it was by their ‘secret’ lake, especially since the sun would be setting soon but regardless she knew it would be romantic.

As she walked through the forest she saw paper lanterns hanging around and some fairy lights, leading up to the lake. She heard soft music coming from there and walked over excitedly.

“Wow, you look so gorgeous,” Roman looked at her with his mouth hung open, his eyes traveling from her nude sandals to her red-tinted lips, to her amber eyes.

“Thank you, Roman. This place looks amazing,” Tali blushed, looking around. She saw by the lake there was a baby blue blanket on the ground with a picnic basket.

“You deserve the best,” He smiled, and took a step back, where he now stood had candles surrounding him. “Step in here,” He reached for her hand so she could join him in the heart shape.

“What are you—” Tallulah was asking when she saw him getting down on one knee, a velvet box pulled out his pocket and now presented to her.

“Tallulah Snyders, I think it’s about time we marry, hmm? I was thinking you’d pop the question, but I decided to take the initiative,” He asked, opening the box. Inside the box was a diamond ring, the band was a twisted halo with smaller stones in it.

“Roman, a-are you proposing to me right now?” Tallulah felt her face getting hotter, her breathing became a bit quicker. Was it finally happening?

“I am. Tallulah Snyders, will you marry me?” Roman asked, a known smirk on his face. He finally cut out the teasing.

“I will, Jerk,” She answered eagerly, warm tears rolling down her cheek as he pushed the ring up her finger.

“Asshole,” He rolled his eyes playfully, getting pulled up by her for a kiss.

“I love you,” She mumbled, then pulled him down for a kiss, wrapping her arms around him.

“I love you more,” He said against her lupus, moving one hand to the back of her head and deepening the kiss.

Six years later…

Roman was up bright and early, he went for a quick jog then hit the shower immediately. There was not much time to spare. Once he was ready for the day he finally went downstairs and made sure the cooks had prepared the breakfast he requested. He walked the halls, which he was now more than familiar with. A happy look on his face. He stopped at a room and knocked gently before entering the room.

Roman sighed lovingly, his kids were still asleep. He walked over to Dean as he saw that one moving around, he lowered down to his knees and gently shook his boy awake,” Dean, it’s time to get up baby.”

“No,” Dean whined and turned around, he could still feel his father’s hand on his back, rubbing circles.

“Oh well, guess I’ll be the only one to wish mommy happy birthday,” Roman teased, knowing that would get the boy up. Both their boys had a special love for attention, it didn’t matter whose.

“Dean’s up,” He reached for his father, wrapping his arms around his neck. Roman chuckled and picked him up. He kissed the side of his head,” Morning buddy.”

Now it was time to wake up Dean's twin brother, Damien. Handling these two five-year-olds sure wasn’t as easy as they thought it would be but they’re managing just fine.

“Damien, wake up, buddy, it’s mommy’s birthday,” Roman rubbed his back too, waiting for a response, surprisingly for once Damien woke up without throwing a fit.

“Can we go, daddy?” He rubbed his eyes. Roman nodded and wished him good morning too as he waited for Damien to get down from his bed and held his small hand in his. Unlike Dean, he didn’t really like to be carried around. Roman led the way to his and Tali’s bedroom, excited to wish her a happy birthday.

As he opened the door, the twins ran in and jumped onto the bed, smothering their mother with kisses and hugs as they wished her a very happy birthday.

“Are you just going to stand there?” Tali asked, looking over at her husband with a huge smile on her face.

“Well between the twins and the little princess growing in your stomach, there isn’t much space for me,” Roman pouted, walking over to her and leaned down to peck her lips, “Happy birthday, Tali.”

“Come here,” Tali scooted over and patted next to her. Roman chuckled and got down, picking Damien up so the boy could rest on his chest. The family cuddled up together, Roman looked over at Tallulah who was busy telling their boys something, her hand resting on her ever-growing stomach. His lips curled into a smile; things did work out in the end after all. He doubted the goddess’s plan, yet now he wouldn’t have it any other way. His family is loved and protected.
