Chapter 130

Basement. New location. Different prison. Same nightmare. Continuing.

Darker here. Colder. Damper. Smell of mold, of earth, of decay everywhere.

Sienna tied to chair again. Metal one. Different from before. But same purpose. Same pain. Same captivity.

Wrists bound tight. Ankles too. Can’t move. Can’t escape. Can’t do anything but endure.

Body aching everywhere still. From torture before. From days of this. From everything Isabella did, does, will do.

But alive. Still breathing. Still pregnant. Still baby surviving against everything. Miracle maybe. Stubbornness definitely.

Isabella in corner setting up something. Laptop screen. Wires. Equipment. Planning something new. Something worse probably.

Sienna watched through swollen eyes. One nearly shut from hit yesterday or day before. Time meaningless now.

“Almost ready,” Isabella said. Cheerful. Excited. Like child on Christmas morning. Twisted. Wrong. Terrifying.

“Ready for what?” Sienna asked. Voice hoarse from screaming, from crying, from begging that didn’t work.

“You’ll see.” Isabella smiled. That smile insane. Cruel. Promising pain.

She finished setting up, turning laptop screen toward Sienna, forcing her to look at it.

“Watch,” Isabella commanded, pressing play button.

Video starting. Night vision footage. Security camera maybe. Showing old house. The one where Sienna was before this basement.

Helicopter approaching. Landing. Men jumping out. Armed. Professional. Tactical team.

Sienna’s heart stopped. Recognizing them. Recognizing mission. They came for her. They tried to save her.

And Landon there in footage. Leading them. Coming for her. Like she knew he would. Like she prayed he would.

Tears starting seeing him. So close. So determined. So desperate to find her.

“Keep watching,” Isabella said. Enjoying this. Feeding on Sienna’s pain. On hope about to be destroyed.

Team approaching house. Surrounding it. Moving to door. Ready to breach.

Then explosion. Massive. Bright even on screen. Even in night vision.

Bodies flying backward. Men falling. Screaming maybe. Can’t hear sound but seeing it. Knowing it.

Sienna screamed too. Watching horror. Watching people hurt because of her. Because they tried to save her.

“No!” she cried. Struggling against ropes, against chair, against reality unfolding on screen.

Landon on ground. Thrown back. Getting up. Running toward house anyway. Despite explosion. Despite danger. Despite everything.

Isabella paused video right there. Landon running. Desperate. Frantic. Beautiful and terrible to see.

“Your rescue,” Isabella said, mocking, cruel. “Didn’t go well, did it?”

“You monster,” Sienna whispered. Horror complete. Understanding what Isabella did. What she planned all along.

“I knew he’d come,” Isabella said. Proud of herself. Of trap. Of everything evil. “I knew Landon wouldn’t stop looking. So I prepared little surprise for him.”

“You hurt people. Innocent people. Doing their jobs.”

“I hurt people who tried to take you from me,” Isabella corrected. Delusional. Possessive. Insane. “You’re mine, Sienna. Mine to keep. Mine to hurt. Mine to do whatever I want with.”

“I’m not yours,” Sienna said through tears, through fear, through defiance still there, still fighting. “I’m Landon’s. I’m my own. I’m never yours.”

Isabella slapped her hard. Familiar pain. Expected almost.

“You’ll learn,” Isabella hissed. Face close. Breath hot. Smelling like coffee, like cigarettes, like madness. “Eventually you’ll break. You’ll understand. You belong to me now.”

She stepped back. Closing laptop. Finished with video. Moving to next torture. Next game. Next everything wrong.

“You know what’s next?” Isabella asked. Conversational. Casual. Like discussing weather. Not terror.

Sienna didn’t answer. Didn’t want to know. Didn’t want to hear.

“Your family,” Isabella said anyway. Sharing plans. Sharing evil. Wanting Sienna to suffer. Anticipating what came. “Landon’s family too. Especially Noah and Lora.”

Sienna’s blood turned cold. Ice in veins. In heart. In everything.

“Don’t,” she whispered. Begging again. Hating it but doing it anyway. “Please don’t hurt them. They did nothing to you.”

“They exist,” Isabella said. Simple. Terrible. True to her twisted mind. “They’re connected to you. To Landon. That’s enough.”

“Noah and Lora are innocent. They’re just starting their life together. Their love. Please.”

“Love.” Isabella laughed. Bitter. Broken. Jealous. “Everyone gets love except me. Everyone gets happy ending except me. Why should they have what I can’t?”

“Because they deserve it,” Sienna said. Honest. Direct. Hoping to reach something human inside Isabella, if anything human left.

“And I don’t?” Isabella demanded. Angry. Hurt underneath rage showing through.

“You did,” Sienna said carefully, truthfully. “Before you became this. Before you let obsession destroy you. Before you chose hate over healing.”

Isabella stared at her. Processing words. Processing truth she didn’t want to hear.

“I loved him,” Isabella whispered. Vulnerable suddenly. Real person showing through monster mask. “I loved Landon so much it hurt. It consumed me. It became everything.”

“I know,” Sienna said gentle despite everything, despite torture, despite captivity. Still human. Still capable of empathy. “But love shouldn’t hurt like that. Shouldn’t consume like that. Shouldn’t destroy like that.”

“Then what should it do?” Isabella asked. Lost. Confused. Child almost. Not monster for moment.

“It should heal,” Sienna said, meaning it, believing it. “It should build, not destroy. Should give, not take. Should make you better, not worse.”

Isabella’s face hardened again. Moment of humanity gone. Monster returning. Stronger. Meaner. Angrier.

“Pretty words,” she spat. “But they won’t save you. Won’t save Noah or Lora. Won’t save anyone.”

“Hurting them won’t save you either,” Sienna said. Defiant now. Done being gentle. Done trying to reach her. “Won’t fill emptiness inside you. Won’t make Landon love you. Won’t fix anything.”

“Shut up.”

“Your destructive actions,” Sienna continued, stronger now, finding courage from somewhere deep, “will never fill the emptiness inside you. Never make you whole. Never give you what you want.”

“I said shut up!” Isabella screamed. Hitting Sienna again. Harder this time. Knuckles connecting with jaw. Pain exploding.

But Sienna kept going. Kept talking. Kept fighting with only weapon left. Truth.

“You can torture me. Kill me even. But it won’t change anything. Landon will still love me, not you. You’ll still be empty. Still be broken. Still be alone.”

Another hit. Blood filling mouth. Spitting it out. Red on floor. Don’t care anymore.

“You can’t break me,” Sienna said through blood, through pain, through everything. “I won’t let you. Won’t give you that satisfaction. Won’t surrender.”

Isabella stepped back. Breathing hard. Realizing truth in Sienna’s words. Seeing strength there. Unbreakable despite everything.

“We’ll see,” Isabella said. Voice shaking slightly. Uncertain for first time. “We’ll see how strong you are when I start on your family. When I make you watch them suffer like I suffered.”

She left basement. Door slamming. Leaving Sienna alone in darkness, in cold, in defiance still burning.

Sienna breathed deep. Painful. Ribs hurting. Everything hurting. But mind clear. Spirit unbroken. Determination solid.

She wouldn’t break. Couldn’t break. For baby growing inside. For Landon searching outside. For family believing in her. For herself worth fighting for.

Isabella could torture body. Could try to break mind. Could do everything evil imaginable.

But Sienna’s core, her strength, her love, her will to survive, that was hers. Only hers. Untouchable. Unbreakable. Forever.

“I’m still here,” Sienna whispered to darkness, to baby, to Landon somehow hearing her maybe. “I’m still fighting. I’m still me.”

And somewhere above, Isabella paced. Frustrated. Scared. Realizing her biggest mistake.

She thought Sienna would break easily. Thought torture would destroy her. Thought she’d win.

But Sienna was stronger than she looked. Stronger than Isabella expected. Stronger than anyone knew.

And that changed everything.
