Chapter 33: Lavinia in Control
Isaac and Lavinia had moved to the bed, making use of the raised footboard. Lavinia had untied his wrists briefly, only to secure them to the bedframe. She had drawn the shades closed around them, making the light that snuck through the cracks warm and almost smokey in quality.
This was a first for Lavinia. So much of her intimate experience had been spent on her back, following the whims of the hands touching her. She had never been in an unwelcome position, but she had also never been able to exert her own will, making all the decisions for her own pleasure. Even with Isaac, he had always dominated the scene. He was willful with his touch and talented in his actions. But watching him be the one to lean his head back, hands bound, gave Lavinia a new type of enjoyment.
She felt powerful. Her every desire was met. Isaac willingly submitted, enthusiastically responding to her hands and mouth. He seemed to find comfort in rescinding his authority and letting Lavinia make all the decisions. The skin of his chest and stomach marked easily, bruises blooming under Lavinia’s teeth. As she trailed lower to his thighs he instinctively wrapped his legs around her, his knees bending over her shoulders.
Lavinia was struck suddenly with just how much of a reversal this position was. She looked up at Isaac, pressing his legs forward against his chest.
“What?” he asked breathlessly.
“Oh, nothing. Just thinking about how pretty you look on the other side.”
Isaac blushed violently, not making eye contact. “You’re one to talk.”
“Oh?” She reached forward, resting her fingers on either side of his throat. Keeping her palm from pushing on his windpipe, she tightened her grip. Isaac gasped, pulling against the restraints on his wrists. Lavinia kept a careful watch on his face, ensuring that he was not in unwelcome pain. She flicked her eyes up to her hastily tied knot, making sure it was still holding before releasing Isaac’s neck. He went limp almost immediately, breathing heavily. His eyes were mostly closed, only the faintest strip of white visible at the bottom.
Isaac looked completely relaxed. All the stress had left his face. The circles under his eyes had faded and he had gained color back in his skin. Lavinia sat forward, looking down at Isaac. He looked beautiful on his back. His hair was loose, his blonde hair falling around his face, a few strands covering his closed eyes. As he lay there, he caught his breath, keeping his mouth open. His lips were flushed from the blood that had risen in his face.
Lavinia cupped his face, running her thumb over his mouth. He kissed her thumb, keeping his eyes closed.
“You seem content,” Lavinia said teasingly. “You should have suggested we do this sooner.”
“I did not realize it was an option,” Isaac panted, straining against the tie to lean up.
“Nor have I.”
“Really?” he asked.
“Is that surprising?”
“As in everything you do,” he smiled. “You seem well-rehearsed.”
Lavinia pushed his face back down, turning it to one side and making him release the tension in his arms. He fell back against the comforter, letting Lavinia keep his face pressed into the fabric. He laughed, the sound deep and content.
“There is something I want to try. That is, if you would permit it.”
“What is that?”
“I want you to adjust your position. Straddle me a little higher up.”
Lavinia slid forward, staying balanced on her knees.
“Not like that.”
“Be more clear then, Isaac.”
“Put your knees next to my head.”
“Oh!” Lavinia said.
She did as he asked, modifying her stance so that each of her knees was placed on the inside of Isaac’s raised arms. Lavinia pulled her skirt up, throwing it over Isaac’s head. Lavinia covered her mouth with her hand now that Isaac’s vision was blocked by the layers of fabric. Though this had been his request, she was still in full control. She was careful at first, supporting most of her own weight, feeling the strain in her legs. But as she became accustomed to Isaac’s rhythm, she sank down, letting him relax his neck, no longer needing to crane his neck upwards.
Lavinia held onto the footboard to support herself. She laced her fingers through Isaac’s. He twisted his wrists so he could return her grip. Lavinia lowered her forehead, pressing it against their interlocked hands. She moaned softly. Isaac kept his movements steady, not changing his pace or pressure. Lavinia bit down on Isaac’s hand, suddenly very aware that any noise she made could potentially be overheard. She had no idea of the location of their shared room in reference to the rest of the house. She could not stand for the sensation to stop so she dug in her teeth and muffled the breathy whimpers that she could not suppress.
