I shrugged.

“I really don't know about this land you are talking about. I never heard anything about it,” I said to Lorenzo who was busy playing with one the ho's tits beside him.

“How did you hear about this? Who gave you that information? Do you have an inside man asides me?” I questioned aggressively.

This was somewhat uncomfortable. Lorenzo was beginning to know things I didn't know and that was risky for me.

I never knew about a royal land or its acquisition. The conversation I ovetheard with Roberto on the call didn't even make think towards that.

Left to me, that was just another one of his power moves in the Mafia.

“Lorenzo, I need to know what is going on here. I know nothing about a land and that baffles me..” I said with an innocent face, hoping to get him to talk.

However, the idiot kept playing with the butch tits and I was getting angry already.

I kept tapping my feet repeatedly. “Bloom boy, don't fucking rush me. You are in my residence not Roberto's so you need to take a chill. I could blow your heads off if you get me pissed.”

“Don't forget.  You might be building a small army with my help but you still answer to me and you are still a slave to Roberto,” he voiced out bluntly.

I almost snapped.

I clenched my fist behind me but there was absolutely nothing I could do. “Calm down, Marcus. You will get him soon,” the voice in my head uttered.

“I just wanted to know, Lorenzo. I do not mean any disrespect,” I spoke reluctantly.

“You don't have to know anything, Marcus. All I need you to do is to listen to me and what I need you to do for me..”

He was about to speak when Duder came in….”Hey, I thought I told you to fucking stay inside the car.”

“I'm sorry, Marcus but there is something you need to see,” he said.

“Ooh, so Duder is here…that dude you keep hiding from me…so he has been here all these while and you don't want me to see him??” Lorenzo interrupted. 

“I told you, you have no business with my boy here. You have me already so leave Duder out of it,” I replied.

“Let him talk for himself!”

The minute he said what he said, his men surrounded me and linted their heavy ammunitioms at me.

“What is the meaning of this, Lorenzo? You can see Duder needs my attention. What are you trying to do?” I said with a frowned face.

He laughed hysterically.

He went towards Duder and held him by the neck, “Duder…you see I kind of like you and I want you to work for me. I know Marcus told you a lot about not minding me and all but you really have nothing to lose…”

“Lorenzo, this is not necessary. Just stop it already. You have no play here. Say what you want me to do and let me leave..”

“Hmmm….” He said.

I was damn happy Duder didn't say a word to him. Whether he was still keeping to my previous orders or he was just being mute, I had no idea but at least, I was glad he didn't utter a word to Lorenzo.

I coild see the agitated look on Lorenzo when Duder gave him that silent treatment.

“Fine…you both should get out and you, Marcus. I need you back here to finish our discussion!” He said.

I walked out almost immediately with Duder behind me.

“You….” I held Duder by the neck. “What is so difficult in staying inside the car for me to be done??” 

“Are you a pussy that needs to be watched?” 

“I'm sorry, Captain but I couldn't just wanting back in there. The Boss called,” he responded in a cool tone.

Fuck! That was a bad one. Roberto shouldn't make a call to us but rather we to him.

“Please tell me all is well and you didn't give out our exact location to the Boss,” I said with a raised eyebrow.

“You know I wouldn't do that to you, Captain. We need to leave here. I told him we went to secure more drums and drinks for the celebration. I don't know if he is okay with that excuse but I think it goes,” he explained.

“Wait…that's true..the celebration..” I voiced. 

My mind drifted to Lucia the maid and the assignment I gave her…. Looks like the universe is in my favor.

Bit by bit, I shall have everything in place.

I smiled all of a sudden. “Everything good? You think that excuse is okay cause I see you are smiling?” 

“Oh sure, the excuse is perfect but we definitely need to go get those drinks and drums like you said..you feel me?”

I didn't wat to tell me why exactly I was happy. Even though I know he knows about my plan with Katherina, I had ulterior motives.

Duder is to be another pawn in my long game. Just in case, there was any fuck up and Lucia decide to tell anyone about the plan, Duder will take the fall instead of me.

I had everything planned out in my head so I needed Duder to be with me every step of the way sonI could implicate him with ease if things go south.

“You have done well, Duder. Just give me a few minutes to deal with old fool in there,” I jested.

I went back in and Lorenzo was already busy fucking one of the girl right in the sitting room, butt naked.

“Ewww….can I get the info now? I have somewhere to be, Lorenzo.”

“Oh stop acting like a pussy. You and I both know you have been staring at my bitches since you came in. I picked this particular one intentionally. She told me she has her eyes on you so I am fucking her brains out!!” He said.

Pfffff…like I fucking care.

There was already more than enough to go around at the celebration back at Roberto's so I know I would get everything in full.

One ho wouldn't decide how I feel in a moment.

“I won't waste any more of your time. I was told the document is in the Upper Room…kept in one of the many shelves that is only accessible by Roberto. I know how close you are to him and I believe you can get it for me.”

“Ge mt me that document and we are good. I will triple your men if you do so,” he said.

Triple? Damn, that sounds like a fantastic deal.

Even though I knew how risky the task was, I was ready for it….

Of only I knew about the document sooner, I probably wouldn't have been her with Roberto in the first place.

Maybe I could have ran off to set up my own fucking gang and empire. Maybe Roberto Deluca would be the one running to be partner with me instead.

I was about to accept the offer when Lorenzo suddenly raised his hands as he stares at his phone.
