Is this about the resemblance thing I noticed? Is it possible that I was right??
I became utterly confused. The document said a whole lot and I just couldn't take my eyes off fhem…
I kept flipping through the pages and reading through. At every glance, my heart kept racing.
“What is going on? Do the children know about this?” I muttered.
I kept reading through and right on one of the papers, I noticed the adoption agreement was signed by Roberto and his ex wife.
“Wow….so they both know about it? Could that mean…..”
I paused.
I heard a sudden sound from outside and my heart almost jumped out of fear.
Geez….that has to be Roberto. I totally forgot!
I was totally carried away by what I was reading.
Oh shit!
I hurriedly pack the documents back as his footsteps got closer. I could bet my heart skipped a beat as I did everything in a rush!
The door finally creaked open slowly.
“Katherina,” Roberto called out as he popped his head slightly through the door.
“Uhn….I'm here,” I answered.
He walked in, his towel wrapped around his waist and I was there, sitting inside the tub.
Half naked, with my tights and bra on…..
“Why did you leave me all alone back there?” He asked.
I couldn't speak properly. I had injured my arm whilst trying to rush. I managed to close the tiles and push the tub back so I could cover the secret found but I got a scratch in the process.
“You don't want to say anything?” He said, moving closer to the tub and licking his lips slowly.
I became more scared. I wanted to scream out in pain as blood gushed out.
I kept the wounded hand behind me in the tub so Roberto doesn't see and suspect.
“I didn't…..I didn't leave you, my love. I just wanted to have a shower, “ I answered.
“Hmmmm….a shower, let me come and join you,” he said.
At this point, I could feel the blood already driving intot he water and I just tied to hold in pain but it was become gradually unbearable.
“Oh…baby, you don't have to. Just let me come back to he room and join you so you wait for me..” I replied.
“Is it about what you want or what I want? Last I checked, you were given to me and not the other way round. So don't tell me to go wait for you,” he spoke in a blunt tone.
I got really scared and this time around, there was no way I would allow Roberto have his way. If not, I am in damn trouble…
My hand was already bleeding bad and it's onky a matter of time the water turns red.
“Oh my Lord, I don't mean it that way. I just wanted to make it up to you. I wanna make a performance for you, baby. I love everything we did and I want to do it again,” I teased.
“Really? You enjoyed the sex?”
I could see the excitement in his face. “Oh yes, baby. I loved everything you did with my body and I want more of it!” I responded…
“Arrgh!” I groaned in pain as I couldn't bear it any longer.
I almost died when I realized I made a noise as Roberto was still in the bathroom with him.
“Is that a moan for me?” He said.
“Oh yes, baby……are you going to allow me.come meet you now?” I said.
He walked out and winked at me, “Don’t keep me waiting, Katherina,” he uttered.

A sigh of relief. How could he think that was a moan?
I was in severe pains. My hands was already covered in blood.
I rushed to rinse them off. “Gosh!” I groaned in pain.
“Oh my…..how do I cover this up?”
I have to pretend to have fallen. I just have to. That was the onlubway out else he would know if I eventually walk out to meet him.
I took a deep breath as I stood behind the bathroom door.
“You can do this, Katherina,” I said to myself.
Rolling eyes. I hope I don't get a concussion from this. Fortunately. I didn't. Maybe because I was already used to fhe sight of blood.
A rude thanks to Papa. He jas made me the worst inside and outside.
I screamed……
“Robertoooooooo!!!”
My voice sank. I didn't imagine I could shout that loud. Howwever, it was pertinent that I play the role perfectly if not I would actually sustain a genuine injury but this time, it would be one that could take my life.
In the twinkle of an eye, Roberto was already standing in front of me, breathing heavily and surprisingly, he had his gun in his hands
Like what the fuck? Did he think I was attacked in the bathroom or what?
Please no! I just need him to belive I slipped and injured my hand. That was the the story for blood in my hands.
Simple and easily bought.
Sadly, it wasn't as smooth as I predicted.
“The fuck, Katherina?”
“How did this happen?”
I didn't say a word. I sat bare on the floor, crying and staring at the blood that gushed out of my hands.
Pffff……it wasn't as intense as before. The blood flow had reduced but I got something at least.
“I slipped,” I said in a defensive tone.
“You slipped? Come on, I just left here some seconds ago and you are already slipping!”
“Is this how careless you are with everything? “ he raised his voice at me
“No wonder your dad gave you out, you probably just play around with everything, destroying things or something,” he hissed.
I was shocked.
I just looked away like I didn't hear what he said and the next minute, he knelt before me and wiped the blood in my hands with a towel.
“Sorry I shouted at you…I just…you know what…come here,” he paused and carried me in his arms to the bed.
