Chapter One Hundred-one: Pure Acceptance

After we are all finally sated, we snap our fingers to dress ourselves because previous outfits became tatters on the floor. We picked up our mess and then went outside with the others.

Morgan purrs, “That was better than any porn I have ever seen.”

I blush and turn my head as Agnes teases, “Still so modest. Why?”

“It's embarrassing.” I am used to sex behind closed doors, not in the middle of my living room full of people.

Agnes rubs herself around my legs as she says, “No, it's impressive. Think of it this way, many women can barely handle one man that craves them and has a ravenous sexual appetite, but you have four well-endowed men that desire only you. Your past experience means nothing because you handle them better than the most experienced harlot I ever knew!”

That makes me blush harder. Morgan swished her tail, “Eva, you make sex look like an art form. Hell, you make me briefly consider allowing a cock near me again.”

Agnes nods and purrs, “Same.”

Vincent smirks, “So the pussies are craving…”

“Don't you even finish that sentence!”

Vlad has to add his two cents, “They want their taco stuffed.”

“Ass!”

“I blast him with ice-cold water, “Consider that the first of many cold showers you will be getting later!” The other guys laugh so I pelt them too.

Katie walks over holding Cass’s hand, “Eva, what's going on?”

“They're being assholes!”

Katie giggles, “So nothing new.”

Vincent teases, “To think I was starting to like you, Kit Kat.”

Sam looks between Vincent and Katie before he looks at me, “Did I miss something?”

“They like each other but are too stubborn to admit it because you know Vin, he hates everyone.”

Sam kissed my cheek, “Not everyone dear wifey.”

Katie huffs, “I'm still pissed about that, Mountain Man.”

Sam glares at her, “You were there. Not my fault that your drunk self doesn't remember. You were the one dancing naked!”

“Along with nearly your whole pack.”

Sam holds me, “Our whole pack, Eva.”

“I'm still getting used to that.”

Eric nods, “We all are. I think we have come a long way since the masquerade though.”

Cassius gasps, “Wait! You all met then?”

Eric shakes his head, “I knew Vincent and Sam from before but we all met Eva that night officially.”

Vlad adds, “Then my brother led them to me.”

Elena says, “Which then Eva found me.”

Cassius exclaims, “I will be damned! Raven was planning on crashing that ball too. She thought a person she needed was there, but I told her how tight security was and that Vicky couldn't vouch for her without Eric knowing because Vicky couldn't leave Eric's side during it.”

“If she had, I could've killed her like I did Vicky.”

Vincent pulls me to him, “You didn't have the control that you do now though. Something could have went wrong.”

“True. But still, I could've at least revealed her to the whole supernatural community.”

Morgan shakes her head, “But it could've gone bad too like Vincent said. We don't know for certain who all sides with her either.”

Agnes nods, “That means we still have to tread lightly. You must control your abilities in public. They must think that you're still human, Eva.”

Morgan purrs, “The boys must also appear as they used to be.”

Vincent grumbles, “Boy I will show you, boy!”

“You most certainly won't unless you want a herd of kittens in your pants!”

Cassius asks, “Why is everyone laughing?”

Vlad chuckles, “My brother is afraid of cats especially when they are in his pants courtesy of my mate summoning them there.”

I blush as he said mate. I'm still getting used to this but it feels incredible to be wanted, needed, and desired.

Elena points, “Look how dark it is getting. What time is the moon supposed to rise?”

Morgan says, “Not for another hour. This is something else and I don't like it.”

We watch from the hilltop as darkness spreads across the valley below. “I don't like this either. It's not natural!”

Morgan looks around as she swished her tail hard, “You're correct. This is dark magic!”

Cassius sighs, “It's Raven.” We turn and look at Cassius urging him to explain. “She has been trying spell after spell to master shadow magic.”

Elena asks, “Like our father?”

Morgan nods, “Yes.”

“How do we stop it?”

Morgan purrs as she looks at me and Cassius, “With the light.”

Vincent glares at her, “Cat stop talking in riddles! Light, what light? Eva hasn't done any light magic?”

Morgan shakes her head, “You're very wrong. What happens when her and Eric share their pure bond?”

Sam exclaims, “Fuck! It is the blinding light! It's not just rampant energy is it?”

Morgan nods, “I am guessing not. If Raven has mastered darkness then Eva must master the light. Eric and Cassius are the keys.”

Eric takes my hand, “Then let's do what is needed before that darkness makes its way up here!”

***Marcus’s POV***

I have known Vlad since he was a new vampire and thus knew Vincent. The Black Brothers that now stand beside me are far different than the ones I swore allegiance to. My sire helped in the war too. My sire knew Artemis as well. The Arcana turned on Artemis shortly after the war. That might be why a lot of the prophecy was lost. Not more than a century after my creation, my sire and most of my horde were wiped out.

Artemis took us in. So we vowed to protect his family since he sheltered us. Vlad fed my need for revenge. Vincent at first aided us but then just fled to The States. So I saw Vlad as my brother and I still do. But when he brought Elena, I knew she could destroy us because of the pull I felt towards her. But she only had eyes for Vlad, so I respected that. I forced myself to feel nothing because feeling nothing is better than feeling torn.

When Elena was taken, that's when I knew she wasn't Vlad's mate. I couldn't understand why she chose him. Now, I know why. She was shrouded to protect what she was and to protect Vlad. Her walking in with Eva ignited everything that I had repressed. Elena is my mate. I always knew but was just too loyal to see it. We don't Haze like Eva, but the pull to Elena is immense. I am going to ask her to be my wife once Raven is no more. I just hope that Raven is our only threat.
