Chapter 9 Darkness

Darkness in the night is meant to highlight the breaming of the sun, whereas darkness in the mind overshadows the shine in someone's life.

Kendall was tied to a chair and was blindfolded in a dark Empty room with only one small window right side of the wall from the door, the little kid is well aware of the fact that she has been there for too long.

And is longing for her parent's love and protection, she has lost her hope and is frightened to the core, she knew the fact that if she does nothing, she has to end up here so she stopped crying and became determined to go back to her family,

The five-year-old girl has been wounded on the day of the accident and hasn't been treated properly she still remembers the day when she was brought here.

Flashback * Author's POV

The hideous turn of events for the Hemsworth family was the day when the accident took place and their life took a drastic turn.

Kendall was in the back seat when she was knocked off by the car's halting process, Due to malfunction and electric failures in the car, the engine was belching impenetrable smoke with pungent odor-causing suffocation to the family inside but they were unconscious.

Her head was bleeding though she was conscious and grasping to breathe, she tried to wake her mom and dad but they didn't respond, the little girl was flustered and was crying for help but no one perceived her call.

On the other hand, the culprit whose face is covered with a mask and is fully attired in black, his black leather jacket and black inner inside with black pants were making him look like the grim reaper.

He was enjoying the scene thinking that finally, he was successful in his plan.

"Finally!!!! I took my revenge" he exclaimed with a baleful laugh to the abettors he'd hire for this crime, they smirked and the leader of the group replied, "yes sir."

They were drifting towards the dense smoking car from the place they had been hiding, when suddenly they witness the car door opening, revealing a small figure covered in blood.

Kendall gets out of the car and with blurry eyes full of tears, she walks toward them but stops in her track when she senses danger around her.

The scene made them baffled and they stopped in their track "Sir I think they are alive" one out of the four people uttered.

"Then kill the..." The culprit was enraged and wanted them to be killed at any cost so he wanted to order his men to kill them, but he wasn't able to complete his words when suddenly the member of the abettor group who was responsible to hit George's car, came running and panting towards them.

And spoke "boss two cars are coming this way from the other side, we should run" the sudden announcement made them panic "sir... sir we can't take the risk, we have to leave" "what no I can't."
