Chapter 180 Where Five Hearts Choose the Same Woman
POV Maya:
“Are you sitting there for vitamin D, or to stare at our sweaty bodies?” Luca asks with that smug little half-smile of his.
“Luca, if a woman can’t have the right to admire her men in the holy peace of the Lord, then what the hell is she getting into a relationship for?” I ask, standing up. “I worked hard to have you all eating out of the palm of my hand. I deserve everything that comes with it. That includes watching you work, hoping your cocks get hard and give me material to masturbate to when we’re not all together.”
“You’ve got the nerve to say to our faces that you’re going to masturbate?” Mikhail asks indignantly, throwing the wood from his hands onto the ground and striding toward me. “You’ve got to be kidding me, redhead.”
I bite my lip to hold back the devilish laugh threatening to escape. My cowboys are so predictable. Being with them means never being bored.
“I might be exaggerating just a little,” I say, and they stop in their tracks. “But the truth is, I’m never satisfied. I’ll always want more of you.” I confess. “I’m afraid to close my eyes and have all of this turn out to be a dream.” The five brothers drop their logs and move closer to me. “I’m afraid I’m still at that airport waiting for my flight to Hawaii. I’m afraid that when you go to Dallas, something will change between us.”
I’ve been avoiding thinking about it, but it’s the pure truth. I’m afraid that when Luca, Mikhail, and Adrian leave for Dallas, things will change between us. What if they start thinking clearly about the madness of a polyamorous relationship? Or if some woman walks into their lives and makes them change their minds about sharing me?
“Little pepper?” Sebastian opens his arms to me, and I don’t even think—I just go to him and hug him. “You’re forgetting something very important.”
“Oh yeah? What?” I ask, feeling my eyes burn.
“We love you. You’re the woman of our lives.” I let out a deep breath—this is the first time I’ve heard one of them say the word love. “I love you, little pepper, and nothing and no one will ever separate us. We have a life to build together and so many dreams to fulfill.”
Before I can respond, his mouth is on mine, and it doesn’t take long for me to lose myself in his kiss. Soon I feel hands wrapping around my waist, pulling me away from Sebastian, who doesn’t even try to stop it—in fact, he’s smiling. I look at Mikhail and swallow hard at the depth in his gaze.
“I love you, redhead. You’re the most loving, crazy, provocative, gorgeous, troublemaking woman I could ever have the honor of calling mine. Don’t think for even a second that what we have will change—because it won’t. Actually, it will. It’ll change into something stronger, more intense, and more lasting.”
“Hey, brother, that troublemaker is ours,” Adrian says, stepping beside us, and I laugh through my tears. “I love you, redhead, and there’s nothing to fear—not when we’re talking about our future.” His hand strokes my cheek, guiding my face closer to his. “We’re going to make all your dreams come true.” Then he kisses me, sealing not just his declaration of love, but a promise.
I feel Mikhail’s hand slip into my hair, claiming his kiss. I pull away from Adrian and offer him my mouth. He accepts, his tongue a gentle caress in the whirlwind of certainty beginning to fill my heart—because that’s what they’re giving me. Certainty.
“Come here, you little brat, let me silence your fears with my love.”
Mikhail and Adrian release me, and I walk toward my bossy caveman.
“I love you. You’re my favorite pain-in-the-ass. You accepted us, and now you need to accept that there’s no turning back.”
“Promise?” I ask, just to be sure.
“I promise. You’re ours. There’s no escape now.” His hand slides to the back of my neck, his grip firm. Even in a declaration of love, Luca imposes that dominant edge I adore.
“Give me your mouth.”
I close my eyes and cover his lips with mine, giving him the sweetest, most tender kiss I can. This time, he doesn’t assert his dominance. Instead, he lets me love him with my mouth. When we part, his eyes reflect the promise of our future.
“Aren’t you forgetting someone, dirty girl?” I roll my eyes and turn toward the caveman who, in truth, is anything but one. Dominic is a sweet, caring man. It took him a while to show me that side, but he did.
“Feeling that needy, my cowboy?” I tease, just to hear him growl—and he doesn’t disappoint. “Don’t be like that. Later I’ll brew a little tea for you and your brothers.” I wink at him, and within seconds I’m pressed against his sweaty body.
“You love driving me crazy, don’t you?” he asks, his mouth an inch from mine.
“If I’m not driving you and your brothers crazy, I might as well not get out of bed,” I smile, and he smiles back, chasing away every fear and doubt.
“I love you, Maya.” He kisses my forehead, then trails kisses across my face. When his lips reach mine, I close my eyes, happier than I have ever been in my life.
I kiss him deeply, and soon we’re surrounded by his brothers, each one making me feel loved and cherished. Luca kisses my neck, Mikhail the side of my head, Adrian my shoulder, and Sebastian my forehead. I don’t know what people see when we’re together, but I hope they see what I see.
The most beautiful and powerful love.
