CHAPTER SIXTY-NINE
AURORA'S P.O.V
Just as soon as I said it, I felt my body tighten, my core with the feeling of release coming on. Closing my eyes tight, I lowered my head to the table and bit my napkin. A long drawn out moan came from me while the hot, sweet, release washed through me. I laid there with my head on the table panting, my body feeling like jelly, but a giddy smile on my lips. Lucian slowly pulled out his hand, I watched in mortification as he brought his fingers to his lips and sniffed it.
I gasped, heat filling my face. Is it strange that I found that hot. After I felt I had calmed down, I glared at him.
"I'm going to kill you." I muttered while glaring at him under my lashes.
He simply chuckled and bent down to meet my gaze, his lips inviting.
"I'm sorry, my wolf and I felt it was the perfect time to remind you of us."
He definitely wasn't sorry. He came closer and lifted my head, his eyes twinkling as he bent to meet me, my hair acted as a curtain over my face. I closed my eyes and let him kiss me, his lips were soft as they molded to mine, he sucked my tongue into his mouth, eliciting another moan from me and sending a zing to my core.
An abrupt clearing of throat made me flinch and immediately pull away from him. I raised head and felt another flash of embarrassment through me. They were all staring at me with knowing smiles and smirks. I pressed my lips together and clutched my hands.
"I'm...I'm so sorry guys. I didn't...this wasn't my fault. Honest."
"Come on, I've done worse Aurora." Mirabel winked at me as she glanced at Shawn. "Trust me." He nodded beside her.
Eli growled at him then rolled his eyes."And besides, its a normal thing."
"Yeah, you shouldn't be ashamed of your mate pleasuring you." Jake nodded seriously.
"Yeah, if only my permission had been asked first." I gritted my teeth giving Lucian a glare.
He smirked and picked up his fork.
"You're welcome."
At that moment, Mirabel's mom walked in, a smile on her lips. She glanced at Lucian then winked at me.
"I can see you're feeling cool again, your face is no longer red. That air conditioner must have done you good."
"Ahh..." I could only gape at her in shock as she sat down. She knows! She knows! Someone please kill me!
"I'll never live this down." I moaned into my hands.
She waved her hands, her eyes shinning.
"Come on, I've seen worse...and done worse." She bobbed her eyebrows.
"Eww! Mom." Mirabel cringed.
"I'll never look at you and dad the same again." Jake shuddered with his hands over his head.
"I definitely did not need to know that." Eli shook his head his face pale, looking traumatized.
"Just eat." She chuckled.
I looked down and realized that a plate was in front of me and already filled with steaming spaghetti and lots of meatballs.
Mmmm!
My stomach growled at the sight of the food, I hadn't eaten in a long time. That's when I realized that my stomach had growled loudly. I looked up, everyone was staring at me again. Today is so hot my day. I chuckled nervously.
"Sorry, just hungry."
Mirabel's mom nodded, a look of understanding in her eyes.
"Its alright. I know you haven't eaten. Eat as much as you want, we have more."
"Thank you." I muttered and took a forkful of my spaghetti.
"Mmm! This is delicious." I moaned.
As I was eating, I noticed Lucian staring at me with a smirk on his face. I raised an eyebrow, wondering what he was up to. Suddenly, he reached over and wiped a bit of spaghetti sauce off my chin. I blushed, feeling embarrassed, and he chuckled.
"You're such a messy eater," he whispered, making me blush even more.
I glared at him, trying to play it cool. "I'm just hungry, normally I'm not a messy eater and you know that." I said, trying to defend myself.
He nodded then licked his finger where the sauce had been, I almost choked.
Mirabel laughed, and the others joined in. "I think Lucian's got you there, Aurora," she said, giggling.
I shook my head, laughing. "Shut up." I mumbled, my cheeks red. "You guys are just jealous because I'm the only one who's not making a mess."
It was obvious that they were having a little difficulty getting the food without spilling some on the table.
Eli raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I think Shawn's making a pretty good mess over there."
We all turned to look at Shawn, who was trying to cut his spaghetti with a knife. He looked up, saw us staring, and shrugged. "It's harder than it looks!"
We all burst out laughing, and even Mirabel's mom couldn't help but chuckle.
"I think we need to work on your table manners, Shawn," she said, smiling.
Shawn looked up, a bit of spaghetti sauce on his face. "Hey, I'm doing my best!"
Just as we were all laughing, the door burst open, and a man stormed in. His eyes scanned the room, and when they landed on me, his eyes widened.
"Oh, dad, you're back."
"Late again."
"Better than before."
The three siblings spoke casually then went back to their meals.
"Welcome honey, now if you're done staring, you can come eat." Mirabel's mom said with a smile.
The man shook his head, a sheepish look on his face as he walked over to seat beside his wife.
"Sorry. You must be Lucian right?" He asked Lucian, Lucian nodded.
"Yes sir. Nice to meet you."
"Pleasure. I know what you did for my family, thank you for that. You saved me."
"You're welcome sir and it wasn't just me, Aurora here and two others helped."
The man stared at me as he answered.
"I know that but still, thank you."
"You're welcome."
We went back to eating but I kept feeling the prickling eyes of someone on me, so I raised my head and looked up to see that the man was still staring at me. His eyes widened as I caught him, he hurriedly tried to look somewhere else.
"Excuse me sir?" I called out tentatively.
"Ahem! Yes." He answered.
"I noticed that you have been staring at me for a while now...can I please know why?"
Everyone turned to look at him, he watched me for a while. His face unreadable as he rubbed his chin. Then he shook his head and blew out a breath.
"Its uncanny...the resemblance."
I frowned.
"The what?"
He glanced at his wife, she nodded at him. What was going on? Lucian gave me a worried glance and placed a hand on mine.
"I'm sorry if I'm freaking you out, but...its just that you bear a very uncanny resemblance to my grandmother."
"What!"
