Chapter 27 Prophecy’s Call

Chapter 27 Prophecy’s Call
I immediately felt nervous as the number of vampires surrounding us doubled.

Will the Lancasters have to fight again because of me? But that's not what I want to happen.

All I want is to help, because what I felt the first time I saw the mirror wasn't right. Is it really that the four women in the prophecy have a deep connection? Or is it really my ability to know that the woman I see in the mirror is the awaited queen of all Aetherio?

And if what I feel is right, will I just ignore what I saw and heard from the mirror? It could be a matter of life and death. Damn. I can't just ignore what I saw in the mirror because the value of our remaining female blood will be lost if one disappears. And I won't let that happen.

"Kaizer, let me enter please. I will come back, I promise."

Kaizer didn't budge at what I said because he remained standing in front of the mirror with his brothers.

"What? Playing heroic again?! Saera, come on. Just stay here, just stay with me. I can't follow you to your world, something I'll never be able to do."

I frowned at what he said. Didn't he say before that he would even come with me to my grandmother? I don't understand.

I immediately noticed that the king of Aetherio slightly raised his hand to warn his followers not to attack the three vampires blocking the mirror.

"What do you mean? Your brothers crossed over to my world. Didn't they even pick me up?"

I noticed that the king of Aetherio slightly smiled bitterly at my question to Kaizer.

"Pity. But all we can do is to wait. Wait for damn years..." the king of Aetherio said softly.

"I don't understand..." I said confused.

"One of the limitations of the four male vampires is the inability to cross over to the other world. Kaizer can't follow you Saera, not in a million ways..." Travis interjected in the conversation.

"If I could cross over to your world Saera, I wouldn't have waited for so many years. I'll definitely drag you here in no time. Please, don't go Saera. I don't want to wait anymore. I can't spend a damn miserable years again. We have a different time frame Saera. It will take years for you to come back..."

My whole body trembled at what Kaizer said. Have I made a selfish decision again? Will I find Kaizer chained in a dark place filled with monsters again because of waiting for me? But I need to go.

"I won't be long Kaizer. You won't wait long..." I said softly to him even though I wasn't sure of what I was saying. I don't know anything about what awaits me on the other side of the mirror, but I only know one thing, and that is not to turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to what I saw and heard.

"Saera..." Kaizer called my name softly, which made my chest ache.

"Kaizer..."

I lost my gaze with Kaizer when I heard the woman's moan from the mirror again. She badly needs me, I can't waste any more time.

"Kaizer! I'll be back, I will come back," I explained to him. I'm running out of time. I started to step closer to the mirror.

"King Davian, I beg you. Don't hurt them..."

At what I said, I knew that the Lancasters could already guess what would happen next. Their eyes turned red all at once. Even their fangs started to show. The temperature quickly dropped because of Kaizer's power, I immediately heard thunder from the sky and a strong tremor because of Randall's strong punch.

All three of them blocked in front of the mirror so I couldn't pass.

"Saera, you can't..."

I was just surprised when a huge ice blocked between all of us. No vampire from Aetherio entered the thick ice barrier made by Kaizer between us.

"Crashed the damn ice," I heard the king of Aetherio order his followers, who quickly followed him.

I remained standing while watching Kaizer on the other side of the ice. I immediately opened our connection in our minds.

'Kaizer, let's not let it come to this. Let me do my duty to the whole Igor. I heard her queen's voice, she's dying Kaizer. She's dying!'

'Fuck! What's your goddamn business with her queen? You are not his servant!'

'Yes, I am not his servant Kaizer. But that girl is part of me! We have this connection Kaizer, I know what I'm saying. I feel her struggling. She needs me.'

'But, I need you. You're not here because of that goddamn prophecy Saera. You're here because of me.'

'Kaizer, please. Let's not let this come to trouble. I don't want you siblings to get hurt. You are my family in my new world. Don't contradict me.'

Our gaze disappeared again when small cracks started to appear in the thick ice between Kaizer and me.

"I can't Saera. I won't let you go back to your world."

At what he said, the very thick snow that he made as a barrier between us completely collapsed.

I just closed my eyes when I saw falling ice on me. I immediately raised my arms for whatever would hit me, but I stayed in this position and I still didn't feel anything heavy on my body, and when I opened my eyes again, I immediately knew the reason.

I was currently trapped in a thick block of ice while Kaizer and his brothers were busy fighting the vampires of Aetherio.

'Stop this Kaizer!'

I repeatedly slammed the block of ice that was trapping me.

'Kaizer!'

He is now surrounded by four vampires. He remained not answering me while I kept calling his name. He can't lock me like this. We can't be selfish. What will happen to the whole kingdom of Aetherio if its king is like Gavin who didn't even see the female partner from the other world?

I tried to hit the strong ice around me. Where is the king of Aetherio? He needs to break this ice. We need to hurry.

I looked up again when I felt the whole room starting to collapse.

Fuck!

''The mirror Kaizer! The mirror will break!''
