Chapter 153: Juniper Worship!
Catherine wore a lab coat made of specially developed material. Her eyes were like stars in the dark night - cold and clear. Just one glance from her was enough to make many people present unable to look away.
And there was an air of superiority in her gaze, with the presence of a queen!
Theron gritted his teeth, "I need to verify whether your credentials are real!"
Catherine said dismissively, "What kind of idiot? How can someone with this brain even get into Phoenix Lab? Your boss really has terrible judgment."
Alkaid chimed in to back her up.
"Exactly! There are so many security devices at the entrance. Could we even get in here with fake credentials? This IQ isn't even good enough to be a chicken at a farm outside."
Theron nearly coughed up blood!
This woman actually said he wasn't even good enough to be a chicken at a farm!
Juniper's gaze fell on the two young women who had entered, and she frowned slightly in confusion.
One of them was Alkaid from Galactic Aurora Collective Lab. She had met her once during a data handover and knew that their lab did indeed have special clearance to enter all labs within Stellara's borders due to their exceptional contributions.
At the time, she had been impressed by Alkaid's credentials and even tried to recruit her!
After all, the researchers at Galactic Aurora Collective Lab all looked very young, yet each one was an absolute genius picked from thousands. The time they needed to reach conclusions from just one set of data was only three-quarters of what Juniper needed!
Their accuracy was also extremely high. Juniper had been amazed at the time!

The young woman sitting in the chair before her, since Alkaid called her boss, must be pretty much certainly the head of Galactic Aurora Collective Lab.

"Our director went to a meeting today and won't be back until later."
The lab's chief director, Evander Howard!

Weren't Theron and Caius, these two management personnel in the lab, only daring to cause trouble because Evander, who had always appreciated Juniper's abilities, wasn't around?
It was all about power - they just wanted to make Juniper leave Phoenix Lab on her own.
Going to all this trouble was simply because they were worried Evander would make things difficult for them when he returned!
Catherine looked at Juniper's calm demeanor and knew in her heart that to stand firm in such an environment, she would have to suffer who knows how much.
Juniper had never told anyone from the Windsor family about these things!
Theron frowned, looking at Catherine before him.
"These are all internal matters of our lab. It's none of your business!"
Catherine said coldly, "Who are we working with?"
Juniper quickly raised her hand, "Me!"
As the lab's project leader, she had signed a short-term experimental agreement with Galactic Aurora Collective.
Theron looked at Catherine and sneered.
"All the experimental data belongs to us, and that stuff can't be faked! Juniper, if you can't produce the experimental data, what gives you the right to say you did all the experiments?"
Catherine understood.
So the people who had intercepted the experimental data midway were these two standing before her.
Juniper said indignantly, "I did all those experiments myself. You two never even participated. Where were you every time an experiment started?"
Caius's eyes shifted away!
At their age, whatever ideals they once had were long gone. Expecting them to actually make a living through scientific research was simply a joke.
Only young people like Juniper who hadn't seen the world would personally do experiments hands-on. No matter how good the data looked, could it make them rich?
With that time, they might as well slack off.
"We were of course doing experiments in our own labs. Just because Juniper hides in the lab enjoying herself doesn't mean she can't allow others in this world to work hard too, right?"
Juniper was almost laughing from anger at such words!
"Fine then, let's check the surveillance footage and see if you were really doing experiments."
Theron sneered.
"Juniper, what gives you that authority? Evander isn't here today. What right do you have to access the surveillance from our offices?"
These two were shrewd people.
They had been preparing for today for who knows how long!
All to drive Juniper out!
Catherine suddenly spoke up, "I actually have something I'd like everyone to see together. Can I use the screen?"
Juniper nodded, "Sure."
The lab's central screen was large enough, but it was generally only used for meetings and rarely turned on otherwise.
Theron looked coldly at Catherine, "Our lab's central screen isn't your average size. Can you even get it to work?"
Catherine looked at the messy tangle of data cables before her.
Phoenix Lab, as Stellara's currently top-tier large laboratory, had a central control screen that was essentially not much different from a regular LED display control screen.
They all received display information from a computer's serial port. You just needed to find the controller's driver and sending card location to turn on the screen.
Juniper walked forward and said gently, "Do you need my help?"
She didn't know what the boss of Galactic Aurora Collective was called, but she knew this was definitely a super research genius whose coattails were worth riding!
Catherine said flatly, "No need."
Theron glanced over at Catherine's side, convinced that Catherine couldn't turn on the central screen at all, and sneered a few times.
"If you can't do it, just say so. There's no need to show off. These are all internal matters of our lab. Outsiders should just get out!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Catherine easily connected to the lab's central screen.
She made it look effortless, stunning everyone. Many of them didn't even know how to turn on this central screen, yet the boss of Galactic Aurora Collective had opened it in one go.
What shocked everyone even more was the content on the screen!
On the screen, two middle-aged men with cigarettes in their mouths were leisurely watching their fishing rods, looking completely at peace!
It was none other than Theron and Caius, who should have been in the lab!
Behind them, a grinning Alkaid pulled out her phone, "It's now 3 PM on Monday, Imperia City time - work hours! I wonder how these two gentlemen's fishing is going."
Theron's voice came from the video.
"I just can't stand that Juniper. How old is she, and she wants to step all over us!"
"She really thinks she's something special. We need to find a way to drive her out!"
Theron removed the cigarette from his mouth and said lecherously, "I think she's pretty hot too. Once we drive her out, I'll have some fun with her."
Everyone's jaws dropped!
Theron and Caius were leading figures in the lab!
Not only did they sneak out to fish during work hours, but they also wanted to frame and take advantage of Juniper!
Juniper remained calm.
Having reached her position, she had seen plenty of this kind of malice.
The video continued playing. Basically, every weekday afternoon, Caius and Theron would clock in and then go out to play cards, fish, or even get massages - they were never in the lab!
