Chapter 215 Alexander Warns Tiberius
On the elevated highway, a low-key luxurious Cullinan had a car following not far behind.
Alkaid was in charge of tracking for Galactic Aurora Collective, with sharper instincts than others.
Catherine nodded slightly, "How long has it been following us?"
"Five minutes, since we got on the highway."
A message soon appeared on Catherine's phone.
After Alkaid noticed something off about that car, she used the camera to photograph the license plate and sent the owner's information to Catherine's phone.
"Tiberius? Isn't he still in the hospital?"
Tiberius's car, why was it following her?
Could he have discovered that she was the one who performed surgery on him last time?
Also sent over was the car's recent travel records - last night the car was parked at Heritage Storage Depot, very close to the underground fighting ring!
After all these years, this was the first time someone had tailed her!
"Boss, should we lose this car?"
"No need, just act like we haven't noticed. Since he suspects me, let's not expose anything more."
Alexander's gaze turned cold.
Someone was trying to make a move on his fiancée right in front of him?
"You know Tiberius?"
Catherine shook her head, "No, I just happened to pass by and did surgery on him last time."
Tiberius, from the Harrison family, had taken over most of the Harrison family's business. At a young age, he'd already carved out his own territory in the antiques world!
Now the Harrison family's business had doubled in size compared to when Owen was in charge - all thanks to Tiberius.
Except those businesses that couldn't see the light far outnumbered the legitimate ones!
Alexander's expression showed a hint of coldness, "With Tiberius's sharp instincts, he probably suspects you're the one who performed his surgery."
Catherine shrugged.
"Let him suspect. I'm not planning to admit it."
"Why? Afraid of trouble?"
"Yeah, I don't even know him. I'm worried he'll report me for not having a medical license."
Alexander was stunned for a moment, then laughed softly, his chest vibrating with the motion. Catherine beside him could feel his amusement.
Was that really necessary?
She'd just made an offhand remark.
Alexander knew she was joking. Tiberius also operated on the edge - if he knew the person who performed his surgery was the famous Phantom Doctor Moon, he'd probably be thrilled.
But Alexander particularly liked Catherine's attitude of keeping clear boundaries with everyone else!
After he'd laughed enough, he looked up at Catherine.
"Since you're afraid of trouble, let me handle it for you."
Alexander took out his phone and dialed a number.
While holding Catherine's hand, he coldly instructed the person on the other end, "Warn Tiberius, he's crossed the line."
"Yes, Mr. Howard."
On the other side, Tiberius received the message and silently raised his eyebrows with a smile.
So Alexander was in that car too, and his actions had been discovered by Alexander.
With Alexander's sharp instincts, it would be odd if he didn't notice his arrangement.
The car he arranged wasn't meant to do anything at this moment anyway. "Pull back."
Tiberius put down his phone, a smile on his lips.
"Making you aware of my existence is enough for now. As for the rest, there's no rush."
He would choose a better time to let Catherine get to know him!
The car behind soon received orders and exited the highway at an intersection.
Alkaid glanced at the rearview mirror, "Boss, they're gone. That Tiberius is really strange - why would he use a car registered under his own name to tail you? Isn't that just exposing himself?"
Alkaid felt she couldn't understand this thinking!
Alexander frowned, "Tiberius returning to the country at this time is somewhat unusual. He's probably here for the warm jade market."
Catherine spread her hands indifferently, "Whatever."
What Tiberius wanted to do had nothing to do with her, but if he tried to use Galactic Aurora Collective's name to peddle inferior warm jade, he would definitely pay the price!
Juniper's call came through to Catherine's phone.
"Catherine, you know Tiberius, right? He asked me for your contact information, and I refused!"
Tiberius had asked Juniper for Catherine's number, and Juniper refused without thinking.
"I don't even know him well - who knows what he wants!"
Catherine didn't avoid Alexander when taking the call. Alexander said, "Juniper, isn't Tiberius also your brother?"
"Brother? I'm not kidding - brothers are the last thing I'm short of! Counting the Howard family, I've got almost ten brothers now. You're my brother too, Mr. Howard. You better protect Catherine well, or I'll have one less brother sooner or later!"
"Having lots of brothers is great - losing two wouldn't matter."
Anyone who wanted to get close to Catherine had to ask if she agreed first!
In Juniper's view, Catherine was such a gentle, kind, innocent, and lovely girl that if it weren't for Alexander's engagement to her, even he wouldn't be able to get close to Catherine.
To Juniper, Catherine was the most important. Those brothers she'd only met once and didn't really know - what did they count for!
Even if Tiberius had no other intentions, Juniper felt there was no need for him to get contact information through her.
Juniper ground her teeth threatening Alexander, but to him it all sounded like jokes, and he didn't bother arguing with her.
"Okay, I'll definitely protect Catherine well."
The Windsor family all treated Catherine like a child, even though she'd long had the ability to take care of herself!
Even for such small matters, Juniper would call to tell her. A warm feeling surged through Catherine's heart.
At the airport terminal exit, Alkaid waved Vincent over to the car.
Vincent smiled, looking at Catherine and Alexander sitting in the back, "Catherine, aren't you going to introduce us?"
"You definitely investigated before coming."
"That's different. You introducing him and me investigating - two different things."
From the moment they learned Catherine had a fiancé, these old guys had investigated Alexander thoroughly. Alexander looked decent enough, like a good person.
Catherine had no choice but to introduce them to each other.
"This is Alexander, this is my teacher Vincent."
Vincent smiled elegantly, "Also an assassin like Catherine, and injured too. You recently wiped out Abyssal Blades - made quite a commotion."
The destruction of Abyssal Blades, the third-ranked assassin organization on the dark web, had spread throughout the entire network.
Alexander's lips curved up, "Can't hide anything from you."
That he would go after Abyssal Blades was within Catherine's expectations.
Thunderstrike Mercenaries being able to enter the country had a lot to do with Abyssal Blades. At Heritage Storage Depot, Alexander had been injured - this debt couldn't go unsettled!
"You're as ruthless as Catherine. But I do have something to ask you."
The temperature in the car seemed to drop instantly, Vincent's words filled with probing and wariness!
"I'm very curious - what did you want to do when you went to Galactic Aurora Collective's ruins?"
