Chapter 124: Paternity Test, The Truth Emerges
The Moon Laboratory has the most advanced medical testing equipment available. It only takes two hours to verify a biological relationship.
"Extract DNA using the magnetic bead method, and have another group use the silica column method. Run two sets of experiments."
Mercury and Uranus put on medical gloves, their movements proceeding in an orderly manner.
"Boss, since Esme is adopted, why are you testing her DNA?"
Catherine wore a mask, her long eyelashes like feathers, her eyes clear as a picture!
Looking at the lysis solution with tissue fragments in her hand, she said calmly: "There might be kindness without reason in this world, but not too much of it."
When Oliver and Celeste were especially good to Clara while ignoring her and Elodie, Catherine noticed something odd.
She only suspected it back then, but when she was suddenly told she wasn't the Smith family's daughter, she simply tested the DNA between herself and the Smith family members.
She indeed wasn't Oliver's daughter, but neither was Clara!
"Boss, do you think Esme might be related to Lila? What's the point of that? Keeping your own granddaughter around without any official status?"
Catherine skillfully added isopropanol and magnetic bead suspension, inverting and shaking the liquid in her hand.
"Not sure, we'll know once the results are out."
She still preferred to let the data speak!
Mercury was very confused.
If Esme was also Lila's granddaughter, wouldn't she be a legitimate Windsor family daughter? Her treatment shouldn't be any worse than Catherine's, right?

"Boss, as long as you marry Nightfall, or just make a tiny sacrifice, wear a little tank top and show some leg, I guarantee he won't be able to resist. Don't hit my face, I need it to make a living!"
Mercury covered his face, eyes tearing up.
"If Nightfall has pull there, it's about the same as us Faceless Ones having pull, right? If you want to see Jacob, just go directly to Nightfall."
Uranus said irritably: "Nightfall and the higher-ups at Ironclad Jail are friends, but to let Catherine in to see an important prisoner like Jacob, would Catherine be willing to owe him a favor?"

Mercury smiled, squinting: "Alexander isn't just anyone, he and Catherine might be family in the future! Besides, if he's not willing to help with something this small, he's not sincere enough!"
Catherine looked at the settling centrifuge tube, her thoughts deepening.
Jacob was very important to her. She had to see Jacob and find out what happened at Angel's Haven Orphanage back then, and how she left the Windsor family for the Smith family.
This should also be related to Juniper's background!
If she could find out, at least she'd know who Juniper's family was.
"Let me think about it."
Jupiter rubbed his chin, "Why don't you just invite Alexander to dinner, see a movie, go to an amusement park? That's what I see young couples doing on dates these days."

Several hot air balloons rose in the sky in the distance, their huge bodies painted in heart patterns!
The helicopter's propeller stirred up waves in the sea of flowers. Alexander, wearing a tailcoat, hung from a rope on the helicopter with one hand, his face showing a deeply affectionate smile as he descended directly toward Catherine!
His movements were smooth and efficient yet casual and free, the surrounding roses becoming his decoration, like a knight of the flower sea.
"You said you wanted to go on a date with me. I'm very happy. These things were prepared a bit hastily, I hope you like them."
Catherine looked at the scene before her, frowning: "When did I say—"
Behind her, Mercury took advantage of her inattention and pushed Catherine into Alexander's arms!
"Catherine's experiment is done, go enjoy your date!"
