"Let go of my man." She snarled as her eyes gleamed to a yellowish glow. "Hey babe, what are you doing here?" She skimmed her fingers seductively on his firm muscular chest and licked his cheek while peeking at me as if she was sending me a message to stay away from her Alpha or else...
"Hey sexy, I came to see you." He let out a naughty smirk on his face.
Alpha Zach had already concluded his studies earlier than us but he voluntarily wandered into our academy to chat with the school chancellor about the school's day-to-day operations and goddess knows what else.
"What?" I sniffed up the tiny boogers trying to drip out of my nose then perked up and low and behold, Alpha Zach was standing next to me with a smirk on his face. I staggered a few steps back before Ryan stopped me.
"Hey, Bella, what going on?" He snapped with his jaws clenched in an attacking mood to defend me from wolves.
Crystal rumbled her eyes to Ryan's sentimental attachment to me and lovingly inclined her head on Alpha Zach's shoulder.
"Nothing is happening here." I noticed one of the rigorous lecturers sauntered towards us. I bowed my head in a submissive pose.
"Yes, little pup. Now get out of my sight." Crystal ordered with a pale face while she clasped Zach tightly as though he would run away from her side.
"Smh, let's go, Bella." Ryan tugged me straight to my arts and defense class, then everyone else in the hallway cleared up as soon as the bell went off.
I sat quietly on my desk and rubbed off the last teardrop on my face as I waited for the lecture to arrive in class.
"Psst, are you okay?" Ryan whispered in the back of my head as his desk was behind mine.
I peeked back at him with a tight-lipped smile and bobbed my head in response, then I glanced back to the front of the class as I tried to avoid everyone's gaze upon me. My desk was the first one in my roll hence this gave me an advantage not to face my mockers.
"Good afternoon class, today we are going to look at the three most dangerous things that weaken us. Miss wood do you care to remind us what we talked about in our last class." The arts and defense teacher, Miss Kathy pointed out to me because I was the top most brilliant student in my class.
Her human fork was a cheerful bubbly woman compared to her fierce wolf. She was once a rogue in the dark forests but she redeemed herself by saving Zach there when he wandered out at the young age of ten.
That's how Alpha Harrison awarded her the job at the institute.
An hour later, the bell rang signaling the end of the class and all the students immediately jerked up from their seats and rushed out leaving me and Ryan seated at our desks.
"You seriously need to learn to fight back when Crystal and her friends mock you…you know that I will not always be there to rescue the damsel in distress." He chuckled with a wink.
"And where are you going to." I rolled my eyes with a slight smile. "I still need you my knight in shining armor." I flickered my eyes mischievously, and suddenly, the door to our classroom furled.
"Hey, you get out of here!" Alpha Zach's deep authoritative voice emitted into the four walls of the room causing me to quiver in Surprise.
Why is he still here? I furrowed my brows at his rude interruption, but he was the leader of the pack and he had the right to step into any place he desired and give out his command.
Ryan gritted his teeth so loudly, I could hear them from my seat as he unhurriedly got up from his seat and sauntered out of the room leaving me and Zach alone.
"I will wait for you outside."
Ryan openly hated Alpha Zach for his arrogant and shallow behavior and now he rejected me as his mate, it was like putting more fuel on a burning flame though deep down somewhere within himself I assumed he was glad I was rejected because that meant that he still had a chance with me.
"Hey, beautiful." He said while sauntering confidently straight to me with a smoldering look on his face.
I swallowed hard to his salacious charm with my eyes wide open and completely ignored the fact that he called me beautiful when he mated with my sister.
Damn! This man is too fine, I slowly unfurled my lips slightly then licked them both in a trance as I was smitten by his well-built hot body.
"I'm sorry about everything I have put you through, but you know I can't accept you as a Luna of the pack because you are an omega and the pack deserves strong-blooded pups for the next generation, that's why I chose crystal as my Luna." His voice echoed at a distance in my ears then I stuttered out of my trance after giving attention to his deep voice speaking out.
"But you did not reject me." I gazed at him with a raised eyebrow because I was surprised.
"Yes, I did not reject you because my wolf is crazy about you. You are an attractive woman Bella." He stretched his hand towards mine and gently clasped them.
"Alpha Zach, what are you doing? You can't have two Lunas in the pack."
"Yes, I know that. This is why I want you to be my side babe." He winked at me seductively.
