Bella's POV.
"My apologies, lady Bella. But I thought Alpha Jacob told you about the ceremony tonight?" He answered back.
"No, I don't know anything." I shook my head from side to side in refusal, because I knew nothing about whatever was planned for that night.
"Full moon, blood initiation, twelve o'clock??? Does that ring a bell?''He raised his brows expecting me to know what he was talking about.
Upon listening to him, my eyes widened with a splitting grin on my face.
Ya, this is what I have been waiting for, Jacob was going to initiate me into the pack.
Finally, I was beginning to wonder when he was going to do it since he always appeared like a busy body all the time.
"And the flowers? Are they mine?" My heart thumped wildly with excitement while massaging my hands together with anticipation.
I was Luna by title, but soon I will be Luna by blood…so maybe I deserve the pretty flowers. I let out a tight-lipped smile.
"Maybe? Let's wait for night and see, but I'm surprised Alpha has not informed you about it." He said jokingly with a chuckle.
"Yes, I wonder why he did not inform me as well, anyway have you seen him? I have been looking for him." I glanced at him attentively, so that I wouldn't miss whatever he was going to say next.
"Yes, I saw him heading to his room a few minutes ago." He said facing the direction of the Alpha's room upstairs.
Ever since I was brought to the midnight pack, I have never seen nor walked into the Alpha's private room which is supposedly my bedroom too… I was mated to him but wondered why he did not want us to sleep in the same room.
If we were any normal couple, we would be called wife and husband. I squirmed internally
"And what number is the Alpha's private room?." I raised a question teasingly with a cocky smirk curled on the corner of my lips.
Gamma Nick chuckled mischievously, and truthfully I don't know why he did that. I'm the luna hence I needed to know my mate's room.
"His bedroom is numbered ONE." He answered back, then looked over his shoulders as though he needed to be somewhere else. "Maybe I be excused before the flowers die in this heat." he fidgeted with the flowers.
"Yes please," I bobbed my head with a twinkle in my eyes as I too could not wait and proceeded to Alpha Jacob's bedroom…who knows, maybe he has a surprise for me in store...especially with the news I just took notice from nick.
Bella, keep calm, Do not be excited about anything? Just go meet your Alpha and ask him about the food which never came. My wolf needed to be fed or else she would be cranky the rest of the day.
I hurriedly walked away from the kitchen and jogged upstairs to room one, the Alpha's private room.
I reached the secured door to room one and paused shortly, running my fingers through my scruffy hair. I made an effort to look presentable in the presence of Alpha Jacob, hoping that maybe he would find me attractive…
A few hours ago, I realized that I needed to step up my grooming to compete with people like Beta Samantha, who yearned for my man...
Placing my palm close to my mouth, I blew out air from my mouth to smell my breath…and it seemed kissable enough.
I heaved an optimistic sigh. " Here goes nothing." I placed my hand on the doorknob and twisted it open.
"Hey Alpha, are you here?" I peeked into the huge room and my eyes narrowed in on the people I found in his room making out.
"Oh, sorry, wrong room." I stuttered the couple in the room as they immediately broke off the kiss and the man faced me.
"Alpha???" my voice projected weakly with my heart shattering into a million pieces because the woman he was sharing a kiss with is none other than the red-haired Beta Samantha.
I gasped, with retreating footsteps.
