Dante's pov:

As soon as I left the Ria room, I had returned back to my chamber but didn't seem surprised to see Anna seated on my bed. There was this rage that instantly fueled inside of me once I set my gaze on her.

“What are you doing here?” I growled with a bitter expression on my face, she rose to her feet as a perplexed expression swept through her face.

“Alpha. Why would you even ask me that?”

“Isn't that obvious to you that I am pissed and you are supposed to stay away from me as much as possible”

I shrugged and fell right on the bed from exhaustion while she stood next to me still staring at me.

“Why are you pissed? Did something happen?” Her question caught me off guard and I couldn't help but to raise my head and stare at her.

“Did you truly just ask me that! The Luna is alive, she is not just alive she is now the true Luna, do you even understand what that means, it means that I would have to mark her”

“Mark her?” Anna looked frightened when she asked, coming closer to me like it would make her understand any further.

“Yes! She is the true Luna now and all three Alphas would have to mark her. You saw her strength, you saw the will inside of her. Do you have any idea what she would be able to do once she has the blood of three Alphas inside of her?”

I paused as I watched Anna bit her lower lip with a puzzled expression on her face

“You had one task, one simple task Anna! All you had to do was make sure she never made it back on time, all you had to do was lurk around the ancient garden and wait. Once you see her coming, you cause a delay, but you couldn't!”

“I know. I was going to do that, trust me I waited but it was not my fault because Alpha Lucien had arrived there, he stood in front of the garden and waited for her. There was nothing that I could do.”

“Wait! You were saying that it was no coincidence my brother brought her back, he was waiting for her?” I sat upright as I asked with utmost confusion.

“Yes and believe me, I was so surprised when I saw him waiting desperately for her because I vividly recall you had told me that Alpha Lucien doesn't like her one cent”

I couldn't take it anymore, I rose to my feet and didn't even realize when I began to pace around my room.

“My brother Lucien never have feelings for any woman, no one at all and if he is suddenly acting different towards her then that means his plans had changed and she is different part of it”

“What are you thinking?” Anna asked but I shook my head in confusion.

“I don't know. I truly do not know. All I know is that something is going on, and it different from Lucien previous plan”

“Maybe he found out that you have figured out his plans”

“Exactly! And now he has deviated from that. The fact that he had been boldly refusing Tracy lately, this goes as far to show he has something else planned”

“So what are you going to do about it?” Anna asked and this time, she pulled closer to me and while I was still lost in my thoughts, she wrapped her arms around me from behind.

“How about you leave it to me. I want to use this medium to make up from what I lost”

“Don't bother. My brother knows that the both of us have a thing going, he is very smart and wouldn't let his guards down when he is close to you”

“Of course I know and I don't intend going close to him to get any information” she spoke and I turned around to stare directly at her wondering what was going on in her mind.

“If you have no intention of getting close to him, then what do you have in mind?”

“I will get close to Ria, I know she is already suspecting me, but not to worry. I have already come up with a way to win her trust back”

“And even if you do win her trust, what does that have to do with Lucien”

“I might not be able to get that information, but I am certain that I can make her hate him very well. And that way, whatever he has planned, he won't be able to achieve it especially since he is trying to get close to her”

A smirk appeared on Anna's lips. She seemed so proud of her plans and even though I didn't know much about what she had planned, I felt relieved that it was going to work.

“I know I didn't make a mistake choosing you, you are such a smart girl and once we have the throne to ourselves, I can finally reject Ria and make you my chosen mate”

With that, I tucked her closer and began to trail kisses around her lips. Down to her neck.She guided her neck properly for me, letting out a soft moan as I bit her collarbone.

I stood there with a devious smirk on my lips as I watched her leave. I knew that I had no plans of making her my Luna, but each time I said that to her, it made her willing to go through any length to serve me.
