Chapter 15 Sienna's POV
Shit. I was fucked. I needed to call someone.
Anyone.
Ronan?
Would he come? Maybe. I mean, he needed me for something, right? So he'd protect me.
If he came, he'd probably make me sign myself to his pack in exchange for protection.
“Umm, I don't think you should try to harm me. I am under the protection of Alpha Ronan, so you should think twice before coming for me,” I threatened the wolves, but they didn’t hear, and if they did, they didn’t care.
“Stay away!” I tried to scold them like dogs as I made my way backwards, but they just followed me.
“What if I report you to the council?” I spat out. I was saying anything to get them to let me go.
They all growled, angry now, and I knew immediately that I’d fucked up.
I knew calling Ronan was my only way out, and I wasn’t sure I could get my phone out before they got to me.
I still reached for my phone, but almost immediately, one of the wolves came rushing at me.
I couldn’t even dial the number as my phone slipped from my hand and fell to the floor.
I had to pick it up. If I even thought I had a chance of surviving, that chance was tied to my phone.
As I bent to pick it up, a wolf jumped towards me, and I fell backwards, laying on the floor as the wolves surrounded me, looking at me with anger.
I lay there on the floor, a wolf with a frothy mouth staring down at me.
“Bro, I don't want an issue with you. I just want to go home. I promise I'm not interested in your stuff,” I spoke to it, hoping the human would let me go.
It growled angrily, as if my words agitated it even more.
As it growled and leaned down to bite me
I closed my eyes and waited for my end.
I heard a loud howl, and then the wolves around me left me and rushed toward something.
I opened my eyes to see them all rushing to a wolf. It was calling them away from me. It wasn’t familiar.
It wasn’t Ronan’s wolf.
No, this wolf was different. It was massive. It had scars. It looked like it had fought multiple wars.
One of the rogues attacked the wolf, but the strength difference was evident. The wolf literally just kicked it like it was a little dog.
The wolf immediately pounced on them and started to rip them to shreds as they tried to attack him together.
They bit it, but it just shook all that away and continued to fight like it didn’t matter. It was not only impressive to watch, but I couldn’t help but be in awe.
The wolves, realizing that he was a stronger match, ran away bloodied and with missing chunks.
The wolf walked towards me, and then when it got close enough, it collapsed.
I stared at it.
It had passed out.
Was it dead?
I walked to it and reached down to touch it. Immediately I did, it started to change right in front of me.
It morphed into a human.
Not just a human, but the man. The stranger I had given my number to outside the toilets.
Talk about my luck.
Of course he was a wolf.
The wounds on his body were not just gaping, they looked horrible.
Do I call an ambulance?
Did wolves have their special hospital, or were they fine with normal human hospitals?
I’d need to call Ronan to ask. I couldn’t, though.
I still reached to call, but the guy opened his eyes.
“Don’t call anyone. I’ll be fine. I just need to heal,” he said, grabbing my hand.
He can talk, and his voice was beautiful.
“You need to treat your wounds,” I insisted.
“No, it’s fine. This is just a scratch,” he shook his head, and I raised a brow.
A scratch?
He was literally bleeding on the floor.
I gave his body a once-over.
Naked.
“I can’t leave you here,”
“Where are your clothes?” I asked, trying to look only at his face.
He pointed to an alley.
I sighed and stood up and walked there. His clothes were on the floor. I picked them up and walked back to him.
“Come on, at least put on your shorts,” I said, and he nodded.
I helped him put on his shorts while trying to look only at his face.
When I finished, I helped him sit up, and his wound gushed.
“I can’t leave you here. I can’t. You need to bandage these wounds,” I insisted, and he looked down at his stomach.
“Take me to my car,” he asked, and I nodded.
“Where?” I asked, and he pointed in a direction.
I helped him up, and we made our way slowly to his car.
It was a truck. I helped him into the car with the keys in the pocket of his pants.
He sat in the driver’s seat and reclined it, leaning back against it, breathing heavily.
“Thank you,” he whispered and smiled at me.
God, he was gorgeous.
I needed to get my shit together.
He was dying.
“Don’t worry. It’s fine. I’ll be fine in a few days,” he smiled at me.
And I knew I couldn’t leave him.
“At least let me take you home,” I offered, and he gave me a tight smile.
“I don’t live here. I’m just passing through,” he said with a sad smile.
“Where are you staying then?” I asked, trying to find a way to get him under a roof.
“I just checked out of my hotel. I was supposed to drive out of town this night,” he said honestly.
“Well, I can’t leave you here,” I sighed, staring at his gash.
He smiled at me.
“It’s fine. I’m fine.” He looked so vulnerable.
“Fuck it. I’m taking you home,” I cursed.
“Come on.” I helped him out and took him to the passenger seat, reclined it, and helped him in.
I made my way back to the driver’s seat and sat down.
“Come on. Let’s get going.” I shut the door and started the engine.
I drove us both to my house and helped him into the elevator. I was lucky there were no people in the lobby, or I’d be fucked.
I helped him to my apartment and led him in.
I took him to the shower immediately and turned on the water hot.
“Strip and wash off the blood. I’ll dress the wound for you. Do you have any clothes?” I asked, and he nodded.
“My suitcase is in my trunk,” he muttered.
“Get in the shower. I’ll go get it,” I instructed him
He obeyed.
I made my way downstairs.
What was I doing?
I had no idea.
Was it stupid? Yes.
Would I continue? Yes.
I was a dumb wreck.
I pressed the button for the cover for the truck, and it folded in.
I picked the suitcase and closed it back. I looked up at my floor.
“You’re stupid, you know that, right?” I whispered
