Finally

Finally
That night they went through the plan to give to Crystal when Winnie went back. They had gathered more flowers putting the liquid into bottles so that she would carry it over to the fae. On that side they had them but they had to hunt for them. Here they only had one place with them so it was much easier for them to find and milk. In total they had twenty bottles of blue liquid waiting for use. Alex would have to keep things on hand for the fae that he didn't normally have around. Hem had suggested a small one room house that he would use to help the fae that did come for help.
Winnie went back to the fae to heal and help Crystal. Alex stood at the edge of the forest as the new building was built. It was a small one room building with no fancy anything in it. Just a small fridge, bathroom, and a room to the back of the building. Hem said they didn't have to have all the special things that humans did. Shelves where built into the walls so that all the herbs could be bottled and stored.

"Well it is looking good." Alex told Hem as he entered the building.

"It will work well for what we need. Did you know that I was a doctor in the fae realm? I didn't want to leave to start with but I couldn't handle the dark queen and the way she did things." Hem told him with a sigh.

"I didn't know that, but I had a feeling you had knowledge that helped people." Alex could recall when Vicent had gotten hurt that Hem had helped him.

They stood looking at the building with a smile. He hadn't wanted it here but he would be happy if it made Hem happy. The man had been such a great help over the years. It never dawned on Alex that Hem might want to do something other than what he was already doing. Seeing the smile on his face he could see that it was the right thing.

"Would a green house help you with herbs?" Alex asked as he looked at the shelves.

"As a matter of fact yes, I was going to ask about it later." Hem smiled brightly at him.

"It will be done, just get the ball rolling and I will pay for everything. Maybe you could plant some of the fae plants, do you think they would thrive?" Alex looked over to Hem.

"In fact yes, I have some brownies and faires that would be happy to help them grow. So many of them can't find good homes. This will be perfect for them." Hem hadn't known he missed this so much until now.

They spoke for another hour or so about what was needed. Misha walked into the building with a bright smile on her face. She handed him a potted fluff flower. Her hands where bright red with bumbs all over her skin. Hem glanced at her then did a double take.

"Good lord woman, you didn't pot that yourself did you?" Hem grabbed the plant putting it on the counter. Quickly he grabbed her arm looking at the rash. "You need to get in the shower right now. The pollen is not good for vampires. Quickly!"

Misha ran out of the building heading toward the house. Alex looked at Hem then toward Misha when the door slammed shut behind him. Hem nodded toward the house telling Alex to go and help her. The thing was Alex knew better than to mess with fae plants. The rain flower wouldn't harm anything that wouched it unlike other plants that did.

"Misha?" Alex called out when he entered her bedroom. He could hear the shower running.

"Oh god, it hurts!" Misha called as she rubbed her skin with the soap.

When Alex saw her he knew that they needed Hem. He ran to the building then back to the house. Hem following him in holding a bottle of purple liquid. Hem handed the bottle to Alex telling him to have Misha rub it into the rash. Alex told Misha what to do, he said if she needed help just call. They went to the bedroom to wait. A few moments later Misha came into the room with a frown but happy at the same time.

"Much better. Thanks Hem." Misha yawned so wide that her jaw popped.

"That plant is dealy to vampires if used right. Thankfully you only got it on the skin. The cure will make you tired, so I sugest going to bed." Hem smiled birghtly. "I'll see you tomorrow night."

He left the room to go back to the building. Alex helped Misha to bed making sure that she was alright. He walked out to stand in the porch.

Ten Years later

Alex stood at the alter waiting for Misha to enter the room. Hem was standing by him with a bright smile on his face. The music changed and he looked to see Misha walking down the asile is an amazing white wedding gown. It hugged all her curves shining with the crystals sewn on the fabric. The outer skirt flaired behind her in a long train. Her hair was left down in long curls, no veil to cover her beautiful face. When she stopped in front of him he took her hands. She had handed her flowers to Crystal who stood at her side. Crystal came to the wedding to bless us with a happy marriage. Come to find out the fighting had been a man that Crystal had told no too. So he wanted to kill them all, sadly he killed himself as well. It wasn't the thought for the day however.

After they said their vows Alex pulled Misha into his arms kissing her deeply. Graeatful that he found her again, well that she had found him again. It took them time to find there way to the alter however. Ups and downs came into their lives and Alex pushed her away. Misha however didn't stop being by his side. Takayla had finished college and gone on to start her own busniess with Alex's help. She stood at Alex's side with a bright smile on her face.

No matter what they had been through, Takayla never let Alex go back to that dark place. Misha had learned about the darkness a year later when Takayla exlained what had happened. It was great to see Alex happy for a change. He always helped everyone but himself. Now they would be able to go forward as a couple.
