Chapter 69 Chapter Sixty-nine
Chapter 69 Chapter Sixty-nine
It had been a shitty day. Liam didn't wake up that morning expecting to get a D on his test. He also didn't expect to find his girlfriend sucking off his professor when he went to complain about his script. Apparently she failed too and was trying to boost her marks. Not that he could blame her. He would suck his professor's dick too.
He walked home, kicking rocks on the streets and thinking about how to get his grades up. A noise nearby, caused him to stop in his tracks.
It was a small cry of pain, a male cry. Liam listened to be sure he wasn't imagining this. It came again, louder this time. He followed the noise and what he saw stopped him in his tracks.
A man was pinned to the wall by a woman, her face buried in his neck that blood was dripping profusely from. He struggled against her but her grip was too strong. Shock rendered him immovable and he watched as the woman drained the life out of the man. He dropped to the ground and the woman set her sights on him. No. Not a woman. Something else.
She didn't have teeth. She had…fangs. And her eyes were red. They gleamed as she took him in. Liam felt like ants were crawling all over his skin.
A vampire. In broad daylight. How? Vampires weren't even real. Or were they? He was certainly looking at one now.
He wanted to run but his legs wouldn't move. Her eyes held him captive. She stalked over to him slowly, taking her time, a predator toying with her prey.
“Hello there,” she purred.
Liam swallowed, shaking like a leaf. This woman was the most beautiful he had ever laid his eyes upon. He couldn't look away if he wanted to. Her face was pale and smooth like marble, high cheekbones, perfectly carved brows and cheery red lips that were dripping with blood.
She leaned in, sniffing him a little. “You smell delectable.”
His eyes widened. She was going to feed from him, turn him into a husk like the dead man on the floor. He made to move but she grabbed his wrist, her grip like iron and slammed him against the wall. Liam groaned.
“Where do you think you're going?” Her smile was without warmth.
“How…how are you real?”he asked.
She raised a brow. “Oh? You didn't know vampires were real?”
Liam shook his head. She smiled, a finger trailing down his chest. He shuddered.
“Well, little human, vampires are very much real. Assuming I let you live, you'll be seeing a lot more of us from now on.”
It still didn't add up though. What he had read in stories wasn't what he was looking at now. “How can you walk in the sun? Aren't vampires supposed to be allergic or something?”
“So curious,” she mused.
Liam shrugged. “I'm an engineering major.”
“Ah. Well…let's just say we.. evolved.”
Liam was running out of questions to ask her. His eyes darted around, looking for an escape.
Her giggle was high and lilting. “There's no one coming to save you so don't bother.” She pressed a kiss to his pulse point and his heart rate skyrocketed.
The first prick of her fangs had him gasping. The first instinct he had was to push her but he forced himself to relax. He needed to come out of this alive.
She made a small noise of pleasure at the back of her throat, sinking her fangs in even further. Pain flared in his neck, travelling down his body as she drank. It slowly gave way to pressure, a sort of heat spreading through his body.
“Do you like it? You're not struggling and I can smell your arousal.”
Liam's mouth went dry. He couldn't form coherent words. Why the fuck was he hard? The vampire palmed his bulged and squeezed as she fed from him. Liam jerked.
This was wrong. Fucked up. But he couldn't deny that he was enjoying it.
“That's it,” she said soothingly, rubbing him and he leaned into her touch, seeking more of that friction.
The more she fed, the more the pleasure grew. The pain was still there but it was peripheral compared to the hazy feeling of lust that overtook him. She put her hand in his trousers, taking hold of his dick.
"Mhm, so big. I wish I could taste this too."
You can, he wanted to say but held his tongue. The fuck? Why would he even want that?
He felt himself growing dizzy, the bloodloss beginning to affect him.
She release him and he stumbled to the floor.
“I don't think I'll kill you. Wouldn't want to deprive someone else of this delicacy.” She blew him a kiss. “I hope to see you again.”
She disappeared into the other street in a blur of motion.
He tried to stand but fell back down, too weak to move. This was it. The end. He was going to die here, forgotten. The only people who would even cry over him were his mom and maybe his girlfriend.
He wished he didn't get a D on his test though.
