Working Together
When Ralph wakes up, the sun is already up and shining brightly. He still can't believe what happened last night. The blood moon is the one of the events he's not looking forward to. It's like he's turning into an animal whenever it happens. The worst part of it is he can remember everything afterwards. He can't forget the terrified look on his victim's face last night. Even if he didn't want to, he ended up sucking his blood.
He shook his head and tried to just forget about it. There's nothing more he can do anyway. The night of terror already happened with that poor guy. Although he feels stronger now that he was able to have human blood. He decided to get out of the structure. The blood moon is over and he can already look for Arabelle. He needs to help her find everything she needs. After that, they can finally get out of this place and go back home.
“Now, where can I find her?” he asked himself.
Before he found the structure last night, he thought he heard her voice. Maybe she and Lily went deeper to the woods. Although he sensed that they were not alone by themselves last night. He remembered the feeling of that presence back in the cottage. What if that creature got both of them? He doesn't want to think negatively but he might need to rescue them. It's going to be hard to find them cause he knows that the fairy realm is really huge.
That's when he senses that someone is watching him from afar. Being a vampire in this world seems like he was turned into an ordinary person. Before he can see who's looking at him, a huge black wolf jumps. It stopped in front of him as if trying to communicate. He realized that it looks familiar because it's a werewolf. The same one who tried to take Arabelle before. Although it didn't look like it wanted to fight. It's just standing in front of him now.
“Okay, I know you're a werewolf. You can change into your human form now.” Ralph said feeling sure.
As if the black wolf understood him and tried to transform. It convulses after it did a long howl and turned into a young handsome man. Ralph didn't even flinch since he's already used to seeing werewolves transform. Back in the day, he met a werewolf who created a treaty to protect both of their territory from each other. This cub looks similar to that werewolf. Maybe they are related or he's just getting old and feels that they all look the same.
“Hello, I'm Justin. I think we've met a few times now back in your castle.” the young werewolf introduced himself.
“Hi, Justin! Just call me Ralph.” he replied and offered a handshake which the club accepted.
“I'm sure you're looking for Arabelle, right?” Justin asked.
“Yes, I am. Do you know where she is?” Ralph replied.
“Not yet, but we can try to look for her together.” Justin suggested the vampire.
“Sure, let's go find her.” Ralph agrees after thinking for a bit about the werewolf's intentions.
“I caught her scent from the east side of the forest.” Justin informed him.
“Let's start from there then.” Ralph suggested.
They both walk towards the east with hopes that they can find Arabelle. Justin doesn't have a choice but to get the vampire's help. He can just take the girl from him when the time is right. While Ralph seems to know what the werewolf is thinking. One look at that cub and he knows that he's in love with her. He knows that he's just going to use him to find her. Although he decided to play along since the werewolf can find Arabelle's by her scent alone.
In the fairy world, it seems like creatures like them don't have any powers. Good thing Justin is like a dog who can catch scents. He can lead him where Arabelle might be so that's a good sign. All he needs to do is to make sure that they can find her first. It's hard to find anything or anyone in an unfamiliar place alone. Ralph is not worried about Arabelle. He knows she's independent and can survive anywhere. The problem is if she's still with Lily.

The fairy castle seems to be ten times bigger than back home. Arabelle can't help but admire how beautiful the interior is. Maybe because there's a queen around who likes to make the castle aesthetic. Not to mention, she can do anything because of her magic. The queen just waves her hand if she wants to change anything. Arabelle hopes that she can do the same with Ralph’s castle. Although he might not appreciate all the flowers around.
“Here's your room, my lady.” one of the maids said.
“Wow…” Arabelle can't believe her eyes.
The queen assigned a beautiful room that she can use to rest. She was also given two maids to attend to her. Arabelle can't help but to be grateful to just see the fairy castle. Now, she even has her own room with a lot of vines and flowers. It looks like an indoor garden but it's inside the room. She loves how the vines look like a bed frame design. While different colored flowers are also present all over the room. It looks like a paradise.
“Here are some refreshments. We'll call you later when lunch is ready.” another maid informed her.
“Thank you!” Arabelle replied with a smile.
She looked at the refreshments and felt amazed. There are different varieties of fruits she has never seen before. She also noticed some pretty biscuits and chocolates. There are different drinks that she doesn't think she can finish. Maybe it's since she's a guest that's why there is a lot of food. She can't help but to miss her family. Her sister Amie will love the biscuits and chocolates. While her mom will love the fruits for sure.
“Don't let her see what's real!” a voice of a woman said outside her door which left her confused.
