Chapter 52 An Year Later
One Year Later

Lucas's POV

My body was sweating profusely as I thrusted inside her. She was moaning like a kitten and we were both reaching our peak.

I laid gentle kisses along her neck and then reached her plump lips. I dived into her mouth with need, we explored each other's mouth, and then she broke the kiss, panting for air. While I kept pounding into her love hole.

I gentle grabbed her breast and massaged it lightly with my fingers. Kissing each nipple and toying with it, causing her moans to increase. I gently bit one nipple and she hissed.

" Lucas " She whined and I smiled at that.

Increasing my pace, I was getting close and so was she. I pinned both her hands on the bed and took full control. I started thrusting roughly. Our breaths, prolonging.

Then we both reached our peak and came together. Completely drained, I fell on top of her. Our bodies, still connected.

"  I love you. " She whispers, still breathless.

" I Love you more, Em. " I whisper back, pecking her on her cheek. I finally get off her and move to the side.

I leave the bed and take a shower, while Emma stays in. After taking a bath, I hear Aria crying.

I glance at Emma to see a look of concern cross over her face.

" Don't worry. I'll check up on her. " I reply before she can get up.

" What if she is hungry? " Emma asks.

" I'll bring her to you then. Rest a little, you look tired after our session. " I reply smirking and she blushes a little.

I go to Aria's room, I pick her up to realize that the diaper needs to be changed.

I grab the bag and start changing her diaper. Once it's done, I rock her in my lap till she stops crying and out to sleep in her crib.

I was never fond of children, but Aria is my child and I feel attached to her.  Looking at her warms my heart and always puts a smile on my face. I enjoy taking care of her and spending time with her. I feel like the happier man alive in moments like these. Besides Emma needs to rest, I don't want her to stress too much about Aria.

I believe it's my duty too, to take care of Aria.

I come back to our room to see Emma wide awake.

" She's fine. " I assure her.

" I can't sleep. " Emma comments.

" Ice cream cravings? " I ask her.

She nods her head like an excited child. I chuckle at her childish behavior.

" Well then get ready. Let's go. " I exclaim.

" Lucas. It's 3 am. " Emma points to the wall clock.

" They'll be open. Just get dressed. " I insist.

She gets up and walks to the bathroom.

While she gets ready, I call the owner of the ice cream shop nearby. It is Emma's favorite place.

" Hello. This is Lucas Knight speaking. Is the shop open? " I ask.

" Uh...Hello Mr. Knight. I... It's 3 am. " The old lady points out.

" I know. Can you call your staff? I'll pay them extra or whatever they want. " I reply.

" I don't think they'd come at this time. " The old lady denies.

" Listen here, it's just 3 am not the end of the world. Don't forget your shop is rented and I happen to know the owner. " I warn.

" Sir..I'll come. But I expect extra payment. " The old lady finally agrees.

" Yeah, whatever you want. Just hurry. " I state.

" And one more thing. Don't tell my wife I threatened you. " I warn her, Emma actually knows her.

" Sure sir. " The phone ends. I usually don't go around threatening people but this is an exception.

Emma comes out, dressed in a casual knee-length dress. The dress has a deep neckline but a floral print.

In short, she looks ravaging. I approach her and engulf her petite frame in my arms.

" You look so good. How about we just stay in? " I murmur in her ears.

" How about we go to sleep? " She asks.

" Okay let's just go out. " I state, disappointed.

We reach the area. Emma orders an ice cream shake ends up getting a Brian freeze and I take a picture.

" You have to delete ittt. " Emma whines on our way back home.

" No. " I state teasing her.

" Pleaseeee. " She whines again.

" Nooooo. " I reply with the same tone.

" LUCAS YOU HAVE TO DELETE IT OR YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. "  Emma screams, giving me a heart attack.

" God, you're becoming scary. " I point out, deleting the picture.

" There. " I state. She smiles, celebrating her victory.

We finally reach back home and then go to bed. Our night finally ends.

The next morning Emma goes to work, to check up on her office.

I help her throughout it, but after the pregnancy, she is keen to work. Sometimes she takes Aria with her, other times he stays with me.

Today she took Aria with her and I will be looking after Tim.

I'll work from home today. I'm currently in my office, after getting one with the meeting. I decide to call Emma and check up on her.

" Hey, I miss you. " I state as soon as she picks up the call.

" I miss you too but I guess Aria misses daddy more. " Emma replies. I can hear Aria's crying in the background.

" Shit! Aria is crying. I'll be home soon. I have to go now, Lucas. " She states.

" Bye. "

" Bye, Love you. " Emma says, and I cut the call.

A year earlier, I didn't think Emma would agree to marry me. But it happened and I'm the happiest at this point. My parents weren't so happy though, but they never were a problem.

I remember Emma coming into my office out of nowhere...
