CHAPTER 105

CHAPTER 105
Eriel's POV

Losif gripped the boy’s waist and pulled him closer. “I don’t love him,” Losif admitted coldly. “I brought him here for revenge. His older brother loved my older sister, got her pregnant, and then abandoned her. She died, leaving her son behind. I’m going to give him the worst life possible so his brother will suffer. It’s all for revenge. In a few days, I’ll mark him, and once he’s pregnant, I’ll toss him aside. He’s nothing but a toy to me.”

The words hit me like a physical blow. All the love he had pretended to show me, the story about the Omega he was meant for, the dark web threat, it was all a lie. He was the one who wanted to destroy me just to get back at my brother. I had been so naive to believe him.

Losif’s eyes caught mine, and a smirk spread across his lips. “Where are you going?” he called out. “Come here. If you wanted to watch, you should have told me; I would have let you sit and watch us.”

I stood frozen, refusing to be obedient.

“Didn’t you hear me? Come here,” he said, his voice dropping to a dangerous chill. I still didn’t move. I looked at him with all the anger I felt. “Losif, I didn’t know you were using me for revenge, but I’m not going to let myself be used again. I love my brother more than I ever loved you. You will never succeed.”

I turned toward the edge of the boat and, without a second thought, jumped into the sea. I sank deep into the water and didn’t even try to swim. I just wanted to die, to be free from all of this.

A small smile touched my lips as I faded out, knowing I would finally be free. But then, I saw a shape coming toward me through the water. It was Losif. He grabbed my hand, and then everything went black.

When I woke up, I was in a dark room. Suddenly, a sharp pain flared in my stomach, and I screamed, snapping my eyes open. It was a dream. I was lying on a bed, and Losif was shouting at a doctor standing nearby.

“Check him! Save him at any cost!” Losif roared.

I coughed, drawing his attention. He rushed to my side. “Are you okay? Why did you jump? Do you want to die that badly?”

I looked away. “Yes, I want to die. I don’t want to live like this. You betrayed my trust, and I don’t love you anymore.”

The boy from earlier brought me another meal, but I refused to touch it. He stood there for five minutes, warning me not to try these stunts for attention. “You should have died when you jumped,” he hissed. “Just die, bitch.”

I ignored him until Losif returned. He sat on the bed and urged me to eat. “Please, the food did nothing wrong. Just eat.”

“I’m not going to eat,” I said firmly. “I want to leave here. If you’re so hungry, you eat it.”

Losif’s face twisted in rage. He glared at me, and I glared back. I didn’t care if he hit me or tortured me; I would kill myself before I let him use me again.

“Don’t make me repeat myself, Eriel,” he growled. “Just eat this right now, or you won’t even imagine what I will do to you.”

I rolled my eyes. In a fit of anger, he grabbed the tray and threw it across the room, the plate and bowl shattering against the floor.

After doing that, he left. As he walked away, I just lay down on the bed again, staring at the ceiling.

My mind was blank, and I didn’t even know what to think anymore. But I noticed one thing, since the doctor had come, he had treated all the wounds on my body.

“Are you okay?”

A low voice reached my ears. I looked toward the door and saw an alpha bodyguard standing outside, peering in through a small opening.

I didn’t know who that man was, so I ignored him and didn’t reply.

“I can help you leave from here if you give me money,” the man said.

I quickly sat up at his words, then stepped down from the bed and went near the door to see if Losif was outside. He wasn’t. I sighed in relief and glanced at the man.

“Can you really help me leave from here? If I get out, I’ll give you an amount of money you won’t even imagine. Please… just help me leave,” I said desperately.

“Of course, I can help you leave from here, but I need money in exchange. Once we leave from here, you can’t back out, you’ll have to give me the money. Do you understand? And I want two million. If you don’t give it to me, I’m going to kill you with my own two hands.”

Money wasn’t a problem because my family has a lot of it. I just needed to get out of here. The bodyguard explained everything to me and then left right away.

He told me to meet him once Losif fell asleep. And once I left the room, he would arrange another boat for me, from which we could escape.

We would do all of this when Losif was asleep so that he wouldn’t be able to stop us or come after us.

That was the plan, so after that, I just sat on the bed, waiting for night to come, waiting for Losif to fall asleep so I could leave.

While waiting, I was bored, but I didn’t have any other choice than to stay on the bed. A clock was hanging on the wall, and I kept checking the time again and again, wishing the hours would pass quickly.

Finally, at 8 p.m., Losif stepped into the room while talking on a call. Seeing me, he hung up immediately and came to the bed, sitting down beside me. He stretched his hand, and I understood what he wanted to do, so I clenched my eyes tightly.

But when I didn’t feel his touch, I opened my eyes and looked at him. He had withdrawn his hand and was staring at me with shocked eyes.
