Ella received Alice's hint and slapped her thigh before charging forward.
But before she could get close to Ashley, she somehow tripped and fell, landing on her own mother.
She ended up sitting right on Alice's waist.
"I told you to go find them! Are you blind? Why are you coming towards me?" Alice yelled angrily, gasping in pain, and slapped the back of Ella's head.
Ella was stunned by the slap. When she came to her senses, she felt wronged. She had clearly been charging forward, but somehow lost her balance and fell backward.
Amelia quietly withdrew her foot, hiding her contribution.
Ella and Alice were both sitting on the ground in a mess, while Lisa was too busy checking out Ashley to help them up.
Ashley’s outfit looked so good that Lisa wanted to ask where she bought it. She had seen a similar one in a designer store for three thousand dollars. This one was probably a high-quality knockoff, but it looked just like the real thing. Ashley was too skinny, though; it would look better on her.
Lisa couldn't help but puff out her chest at the thought.
Ashley's bodyguards arrived, and she decided to end this quickly.
"Listen up, the wedding gift is for Luna. There's no way we're giving it to you leeches. Do you think the internet has no memory?
Does everyone remember this old lady? She falsely accused her granddaughter of not taking care of her and her grandson of deliberately running over her with a wheelchair. It turned out she made it all up. She caused such a fuss just to get her granddaughter fired and make it impossible for me to live here!
If she really loved her granddaughter as she claimed, why would she go to the police station every day? After she was exposed online, Luna still took care of her, buying her food, drinks, and clothes every month. Even this leech, Ella, gets three thousand dollars a month from Luna.

Ashley exposed all of Alice, Ella, and Lisa's dirty laundry in one go.
She didn't give them any chance to argue.
The neighbors finally understood what was going on.
"So this is the vicious old lady who caused such a stir online! She still hasn't apologized to Luna!"
"It's their family! No wonder they said those things."
"They smeared Luna online and then hid without apologizing, only to come here to her in-laws' place to cause trouble for money! This family is obsessed with money; they'll die for it sooner or later!"
The neighbors, who had already wanted to scold Alice and her family, now said the nastiest things they could think of.
Alice didn't expect the situation to turn so quickly. She painfully got up from the ground, pointed at Ashley, and shouted, "If you don't give me the wedding gift, I'll come here every day to make a scene! Let's see how you can live here then!"
James coldly laughed, "I can call the police every day! I can also hire people to cause trouble at your son-in-law's and grandson's workplaces every day!"
Olivia agreed with her sister, nodding, "Yeah, we're not afraid! Why should you be?"
Ashley didn't expect them to respond so quickly. She didn't need to step in anymore; she could leave it to them.
"Mom, stop it. Let's go home. Ethan's and Travis's jobs are important."
Ella was scared and tried to pull Alice away. She didn't want her family to fall apart and everyone to blame her.
But Alice was reluctant to leave. If she left now, wouldn't this trip be for nothing?
She had suffered too much at Luna's hands!
She hadn't gained anything! She was unwilling to give up!
