Chapter – 2

Arav's POV

Today I am getting married. Now I am on my way towards the marriage registered office, where I will get married today. I still can’t believe that my dad is forcing me to get married.

I don’t understand how can someone choose me as a life partner for their own daughter. If I were a father I would have never chosen this kind of person for my daughter.

Wait… what I am thinking. I am insulting myself? And my daughter? Really? Huh! That will never happen. I will never commit my life with one particular person. So there will be no chance I will have a child.

But It sounds good. My daughter… if I will have a daughter, will I be a good father?

Stop stop stop…stop this nonsense thinking. That will never happen. I will not even continue this marriage.

‘Arav remember you are not a family man. You can’t waste your life over one woman. You have seen how your brother had suffered in his marriage life. You can’t do that same mistake.’

Yeah right… of course. I will not repeat the same mistake. I have never wanted to marry but now I am on my to get married.

I have thought no father will ever accept me for their daughter. I know very well how my reputation is. Everyone knows very well that I am a womanizer. The number of women I have slept with is more than the clothes I have changed since childhood.

But I have become like this because of one woman…the woman I hate most in this world, my brother's ex- wife. She has ruined our life.

My jolly brother has become so quiet only because of that woman. Because of her my believe in love and marriage has gone completely. I had decided that I will never marry. But look at my fate. I can’t even decide my own life. My dad has threatened me if I don’t listen to him then he will discard my identity as his son. He can do that I have no doubt on that.

I don’t know why this woman and her family has accepted this proposal. I just hope this woman is not my one night stand. I don’t think there is any woman till now I have slept with was so attractive that I want to spend my whole life.

‘O god! Again Arav! Why are you thinking about your whole life ? This is just about one year. You have promised yourself. You will come out of this marriage just in one year.’

Yes exactly I will come out of this marriage. I will make this woman’s life so miserable that she will regret for marrying me.

‘You haven’t even seen her. What if you fall for her?’

‘That will never happen Arav. You will not bound yourself with one woman.’

‘Arav, you are going to marry someone. Before even seeing her you are talking about breaking this marriage?’

‘Yes because that is right. This marriage has no emotional bond for Arav. He never wanted this.’

‘so what, every arrange marriage has no emotional bond at first but after their marriage they both tied themselves in emotional bond gradually.’

‘Arav’s case is different. His isn’t like other arranged marriage.’

‘yes… his is. At least he should first try to maintain this marriage. Before even seeing his bride and before even doing this marriage, he shouldn’t talk about breaking this marriage.’

There is a quarrelling going on between my mind and heart. I don’t know who is right. I just know one thing, I never wanted this marriage. I will come out of this marriage.

Third Person’s POV

A black Mercedes stopped in front of the marriage registered office.

Bodyguards in black dress came out the car in front of the Mercedes and stood both side of the car. The car door opened from both side Arav Malhotra, wearing a navy bule tuxedo and Dhiraj Malhotra, wearing a black Armani suits came out of the car. Seeing the person in the bridal dress, standing in front of the marriage registered office, Arav got stunned.

ARAV : What the f*ck, dad?

Said in low hissing tone which only his dad, Dhiraj able to hear.

DHIRAJ : Son… language! You are talking with me. I am your father.

ARAV : Yeah right the father who has lost his senses. ( said sarcastically)

DHIRAJ : Arav! Speak normally or I will not hesitate to beat you here, in front of everyone.

Dhiraj said while gritting his teeth.

ARAV : Dad, then what do you accept me to say after seeing my bride?

Arav also said gritting his teeth while looking at the bride who was standing in front of him.

DHIRAJ : I didn’t know ok? I am also shocked.

ARAV : Bah! You sold my life for business!!!

DRIRAJ : what nonsense are you saying???

ARAV : Nonsense!! Do you think this is nonsense??? Dad, you didn’t even see my would be bride, didn’t try to know anything before fixing my marriage. Then what else I can say except this. For you, your business is important, not my life.

DHIRAJ : Arav, you know very well how much you and your brother are important in my life. How can you say this to me?

Dhiraj said while looking at Arav face sternly.

ARAV : Then what do you expect me to say after seeing my would be bride?

Arav again argue back. He was little guilty for saying those words to his father, because he knew very well for his father family is the most important thing. But seeing the bride in front of him he was so shocked that he couldn’t control his mouth.

DHIRAJ : I don’t know about this Arav! But that doesn’t mean I don’t care about you. I think we need to talk with her father, Mr. Aggarwal first.

Both father and son went near the court room where Mr. Aggarwal was standing with his family.
