Chapter 31. So Charming

Rayen and Sarah's relationship improved over the next few days. Sarah's mental state has also significantly improved. Josh was taken aback by his own performance.

"I am pleased with the examination's outcomes this time. If it keeps going like this, it is pretty good. Sar, you may stop using drugs." Sarah received the test results from Josh.

"Are you serious? Does that imply I shall be spared from all of this? I could turn into just another typical person." Sarah gleamed as she looked at the page. The girl smiled every now and again and glanced at Josh.

"Yes, provided that this is how you are always pleased. That should help you recuperate much more quickly, in my opinion."

"I am grateful, Doc. I am hoping it happens quickly. I am sick and weary of constantly needing that medicine."

"Everything hinges on you, Sar. You can definitely fast come off the medications I provided you. "Believe me, things will get back to normal," grinned Josh.

One of Josh's goals was to see Sarah well. This individual was aware of Sarah's post-accident state from the beginning. If we go back in time, Josh genuinely recognized his mother in Sarah when they first met.

Josh adores his mother dearly. Josh wants the lady who becomes his future wife to have a personality similar to that of his late mother, which is why the Doctor is too particular when it comes to choosing a life partner.

Sarah meets every one of these requirements. How Josh genuinely wanted to tell Sarah how he felt, but the man would constantly back down when she did not appear to share them. Josh watched Sarah's behavior toward him in private. The girl has not indicated any interest in him thus far.

Josh always abandons his ambitions because of this. mostly because he feared being let down. Josh was worried that by telling Sarah he loved her, their relationship would become strained.

"Are you free tonight, Sarah?" Josh hesitated a little before asking. The man studied Sarah's face, which seemed happier and more attractive every day.

"Why," Sarah replied, "Doc."

"To be honest, I got promoted today."

"Whoa, Doc, that is fantastic news. Doc, congrats on your advancement. That makes me very delighted to hear. Josh the doctor truly deserves it." Sarah was overjoyed to learn the good news. Josh's heart melted even more when he saw her genuine smile.

Josh said, "Thank you, Sar," in his distinctively beautiful baritone voice.

Does that imply that you are okay with this dinner? When Josh questioned again, Sarah remained mute and simply looked at him without responding.

"Sar, just to celebrate, please." Josh peered attentively at the girl nearby and implored.

Sarah's smile developed gradually. "All right. Doc, I would like to. On this joyous day of yours, may I decline your request? Naturally, I will not say no. In the end, the doctor has been a big assistance to me."

Josh's grin conveyed a deep sense of contentment. "All right, tonight I will come get you."

Sarah thought of this and fell silent at that moment. If Rayen discovered he was going to have dinner with Josh, would he provide permission?

"Doctor, there is no need to pick me up; it would be better if we merely met at a restaurant. I need to get something done first. In addition, it is a headache for the Doctor as well," Sarah instinctively shied away from. Thus, you may be certain that Josh is not the subject of any suspicions.

"All right, I will wait until eight o'clock. I will use chat to send you the restaurant's address and location. "All right, Doc. I will say farewell after that, okay?"

As he scribbled Sarah a prescription, Josh nodded. "Always be cheerful, avoid getting fatigued, and remember to take your medication on a regular basis. If you become consul, I do not want the outcomes to drop."

Sarah laughed. "All set, my dashing physician."

"You will get in trouble if you praise me later on if I like it."

Sarah laughed. "Yes, indeed. I erred in judgment. I did not thank you because I thought the doctor would get dependent on drugs."

"Silence, please. If you truly enjoy it, go on. The next patient is waiting."

"Obviously, I was expelled," Sarah remarked, chuckling a little.

Yes, I will love you even more if you had an accident here. How about that? Would you like to assume accountability?"

"Doctor, do not do it. I do not deserve to be loved by doctors. Sarah chuckled lightly, "Doctors need a woman who is not insane like me."

The girl proceeded to approach the door. Sarah turned around and said before heading out. "Doctor is a decent guy. I am hoping that Doctor finds a genuine love interest soon. I apologize, Doctor. "Good afternoon."

The girl said that and then moved outside. Josh continued to look at Sarah, who had vanished behind the door, without saying anything. Josh leaped onto the plush chair and murmured, "That is our girl, Sar. All I want is for you to be my lifelong companion."

Abruptly, Sarah, now in her room, is crocheting Rayen a jumper. "What are you doing?" Rayen inquired as he caught a glimpse of the knitting and more knitting supplies on the bed.

"Oh, that?" The girl showed Sarah a partially finished sweater when Sarah took her knitting. "Sis, I made this."

"Baby, sweat?" A smirk sunk in Rayen's forehead. "You are expecting a child? Are we not done with it yet?

Rayen felt Sarah's hand swiftly tighten his waist. "How the heck can someone accomplish that? Do not you realize that I am still virgin?"

"I want to prove it tonight, really then."

"Ha? Tonight?"

Rayen gave a rapid nod. "Why? How shocked looks on your face? You mean your menstruation is over?

Sarah gave a timid nod. "That concludes it. Does it have to be tonight, though?

"Are you still planning to postpone, Sarah? Sar, it is only been four months since our wedding."

Rayen stifled a sly smile. The man managed to conceal his emotions, nevertheless, from being overt.

"So, what is going on?"

"That is it, then."

Rayen acted as though he did not comprehend what Sarah was saying.

"What is that about? Talk clearly. I am not sure I get it."

By Neptune, the God! Rayen made deliberate fun of Sarah. It appears that Rayen's habit of making fun of Sarah will be something she will have to get used to going forward. Imagine that Rayen's figure hardly ever jokes, but when he does, it is with a true chest stroking motion. Sarah's face can even be made to blush flawlessly by Rayen.

"Making children," Sarah then replied, her face flushed.

Sarah was embarrassed, which is why her tone was so low.

"What? What topic are you discussing? I heard nothing at all?

Sarah's lips were pursed. "Hey, are you intentionally making fun of me? even though it was evident what I stated."

"What? Actually, I did not hear it," Rayen remarked. "Aim to speak it louder."

Sarah inhaled deeply. Rayen put his patience to the test once. Sarah said, "Tonight we shall make children!" in a loud voice.
