Chapter 26. Lucy loses her temper

Sarah scowled in disbelief.

"Sis, why? Sis, he is a decent man. Why should his number be blocked?"

"I dislike the way you engage with odd men. What happened to your phone?" He stated forcefully.

In contrast to Rayen's former persona, this individual began displaying his icy side. All Sarah could do was follow her husband's instructions, not understanding why Rayen's attitude had changed so fast. Rayen received the girl's cell phone.

Zack's number was promptly blocked by Rayen. Sarah had no choice but to stay silent about her husband's actions.

"Never take an offer from a stranger the next time. You never know why something is done. Whether he truly wants to help you or whether he has other plans." When Sarah heard her husband's comments, she remained silent.

Lucy and her partner are observed fighting at an apartment at the same time.

The jar shattered with a loud pop. Lucy let out a sad-sounding sob that rocked her entire body. Someone gave the girl a severe slap, and she fell. Suddenly, the corners of his lips leak.

"Beni, please... Give up. I apologize," he muttered.

Lucy tried to halt his enraged lover with little strength she still had.

Do you really believe that my shame will go away if I apologize? What? Beni hurled his jars with a shout.

Lucy put her hands over her ears. He whispered softly, "I am sorry, Ben. I can not stop crying. I can not stop feeling afraid." I apologize. Please stop, I beg you. I am afraid.

It was all his fault. Lucy was unaware that Beni had requested the girl to come along to a significant corporate function today. But Lucy was too exhausted to sleep.

During his romantic engagement with Beni, his girlfriend would frequently touch him while he was upset. There seems to be two sides to Lucy's lover.

When he let all of his rage out on Lucy, he would soften and feel bad about what he had done. as an example, right now. Lucy was slouched on the ground when Beni came over, and the rugged man gave her a pitying glance.

"Lovely. I apologize. Beni desires to give Lucy a hug. However, the girl instinctively hugs herself, appearing hesitant to let Josh touch her at all.

"Nah! Keep your hands off of me!" With terror still engulfing her, cut Lucy.

Consider Lucy to be foolish. He is in love with a man who is obviously abusing her physically and mentally on a regular basis. Beni hurt him more and more viciously each time he tried to end things. Does Beni adore Lucy? That is accurate, really.

But when Beni gets emotional, he can not help but lose control, and Lucy always ends up being his easy target for his rage.

"Honey, I apologize so much. I apologize. I truly did not wish to cause you any harm." Devan reaches out to talk to Alexa. But Alexa shifted farther back in her body. In Alexa's perspective, Devan is now like a monster.

Alexa must now accept that her cheek is swelled and that there is a wound at the corner of her lip. The bruise on her right shoulder has not gone away. when they were dating Beni. Lucy had been the victim of violence throughout that period.

"Nah! Ben, you scare me. It is like a monster, you! How many more cuts would you like to inflict on me? Ben, I am worn out. I am ready to end this relationship!" Lucy bellowed as she hurriedly sprang up and fled Beni's apartment.

Someone was struck by Lucy's body directly in front of the elevator door. Looking up, Lucy saw the man who was going to assist her.

"Lucy? Are you Lucy? The man said, "Well, you are Lucy's buddy of Sarah's, what is wrong with you?"

Lucy stood up swiftly and took the man's hand, feeling like a breath of fresh air amid the desolate view.

"Please, Doctor Josh, assist me. Please take me out of here." His body made ferocious movements.

His eyes flickered as though he was trying to figure out where someone else had gone. Josh could tell that things were not going well for Lucy just now.

"LUCY!"

Once more, there was the sound of a man screaming. Alexa, growing more and more terrified, pleaded once more. Aid me.

Josh grabbed Lucy's hand right away and led her on a run without speaking. Josh led Lucy into his apartment, which was not too far away at the moment. Just as Beni pulled up in front of the lift. Josh was able to bring Lucy into his flat at that point.

"Lucy, I will never let you go! You are only mine.

Beni walked into the elevator, clenching his hands and hiding his feelings with his expression. The rugged man was still trying to track out Lucy's location, which he thought was still within reach.

Lucy appeared to lose strength after running away from Beni's chase, as the girl went limp. Remarkably astonished, Josh—who was still clutching Lucy's hand—moved closer to her right away.

His voice was quite low as he continued, "Doc, I can not walk longer." Josh never even saw Lucy in this state.

"Allow me to assist." At last, Josh picked up Lucy's body and carried her into the TV room. Lucy was sitting on the couch slowly.

Lucy shut her eyes. I had the urge to end my life. There were several bruises all over her body, and Lucy's lips were starting to dry out from the blood. Josh spotted this and shot out of there. Josh arrived with a medicine box and a blanket quite quickly after.

Josh brought a blanket to cover Lucy's thighs. The attractive man now focused on tending to Lucy's bumps and scrapes on various parts of her body.

Lucy tried not to worry about being awkward because, after all, she did not know Josh that well.

"All right, that is finished." Lucy got a smile from Josh. The man had not inquired about the incident yet. Josh allowed Lucy some time to collect herself.

"I am grateful, Doc. I apologize for troubling you.

Josh gave a headshake. "Not at all. You are not bothering me at all," Josh grinned.

"Just give Josh a call. Being labeled a doctor, in my opinion, only applies when I am working. Is that correct?

Lucy gave a slender smile. "You are accurate."

Josh laughed once again. "All right, you wait over here first. I am going to shower now."

"Yes, Jo-sh," Lucy questioned.

"Ah, Doc, it feels weird."
