✨Chapter 28✨

Dylan was nervous to go out the next morning because he felt Andrea must have told Julia about the test results already. He was scared of bumping into her because he didn't know how to react so he purposely didn't leave early that morning.

Unfortunately, the first person he came in contact with was Julia and his heart skipped a beat as soon as he saw her.

"G... good morning" he stuttered a greeting.

Julia stared at him for a while and finally got into her car without responding to his greetings leaving him speechless.

"Did she just ignore me even after what Andrea told her last night?" he mumbled to himself.

"Did Andrea not tell her about it yet?" he thought.

"What are you mumbling to yourself?" Andrea asked behind him.

"Good morning" he greeted.

"Morning. You are surprised at Julia's strange behaviour right? I'm also dumbfounded because I expected her to be happy at least a little but I can't explain how she's acting. Should I say she's not happy about it? It's definitely something like that" Andrea said.

"She probably prefers Roy to be the father over me. After all, I made her go through a lot because of my foolishness" Dylan said.

"I'm glad you at least realize you are foolish. Did I tell you I saw Nicole? Andrea and I met her at the grocery shop yesterday" Andrea said.

"Really? That b*tch! What did she say? I bet she started apologizing even though she did it on purpose" Dylan rolled his eyes.

"Wow! Your foolishness has really upgraded to its peak. You think Nicole would apologize? You stayed with her for over three years in the same house but you still don't know anything about her?" Andrea scoffed.

"She didn't apologize? What did she say then?" Dylan asked.

"She acted bitchy as usual. She doesn't feel remorseful about what she did one bit and I felt like beating her to a pulp so she can regain her senses" Andrea said.

"I'm going to meet with her and find a way to get my money back" Dylan said.

"Sure, do that! I can bet you won't be getting a penny but you can still try your luck" Andrea shrugged.

*Two days later*

Julia always returns late from work and go to bed as soon as she returns. She leaves home early without having breakfast and it continued like that for two days.

"You are sneaking out again right?" Andrea said behind her that morning.

"S...sneaking out? What are you talking about?"Julia stuttered.

"Just move back and sit on the couch" Andrea said and sat down.

Julia sat opposite her after a while and avoided Andrea's gaze as much as she could.

"What? You can't even look me in the eyes now? You did everything on purpose so don't say you are sorry" Andrea spat.

"I'm really sorry for not talking to you, I was busy with work so I always return late" Julia said.

"You are still lying to my face" Andrea said.

"Fine, I don't want to see Dylan so I'm staying out late on purpose" Julia confessed.

"Why? Is it because he's the father of your triplets?" Andrea asked.

"I'm really embarrassed. I confidently told him that he wasn't their dad but he turned out to really be their father. He's going to make fun of me" Julia pouted.

"Are you kidding me? So that's the reason why you've been avoiding him?" Andrea asked.

"Yes" Julia mumbled.

"Woah! You really need some spanking so that you won't repeat the same thing" Andrea said and stood up.

"I'm going to work now, I don't want to be late" Andrea said and ran to the parking lot.

She had smiles on her face as she drove to work that morning. She was actually happy to find out that Dylan was the father of her children but she didn't know how to face him.

It was obvious they were going to get back together since he was the father of her triplets and she still had feelings for him. It just seemed kind of awkward to her though since they've been divorced for over three years.

As she drove her car into the parking lot, the first person she laid her eyes on was Nicole Jose.

"Why does my mood have to be ruined so early in the morning?" Julia mumbled to herself.

"Julia, I want to talk to you about something. I won't take much of your time, I will appreciate it if you can spare me just twenty minutes of your time" Nicole pleaded as soon as Julia got out of her car.

"Twenty minutes?" Julia scoffed.

"Even if you asked for twenty seconds, I won't give it to you" Julia added and walked away.

Nicole follower behind her and kept pleading along the way but she couldn't go further when Julia entered the main building. The security stopped her and Julia didn't even try to look back.

Nicole stayed at the parking lot waiting for when Julia would get off work so she can plead with her again. While she was waiting, Roy arrived at the company.

"Look who we have here! Isn't this Nicole Jose one of the top models?" Roy smirked.

"Who are you?" Nicole asked, eyeing him gently.

"Me? How could you have forgotten about me? You set me up with Julia that night, don't you remember?" Roy laughed.

"Ahh! I didn't know that was you. What are you doing here though? Julia might recognize you" Nicole said.

"She already knows who I am and I'm here to see her. I'll see you around, I have to go now" Roy concluded and left.

The security at the main entrance refused to grant entry to Roy until he shower him his business card and stated why he was there.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" Julia's secretary asked Roy and his men.

"If we are here, it means the people outside let us in. Quit being cheeky and let me in already. I'm here to see Julia" Roy said.

"I should quit being cheeky? You are here to see Julia?" Mia scoffed.

"The others might have let you in but I definitely won't let you in. Miss Julia has no appointment right now so I suggest you leave while I'm asking nicely" Mia said.

"Do you know who he is?" one of the men asked Mia and she smiled instead.

"I don't care if he's the world president. We have rules and regulations here and even the president of this country has to follow those rules when he is here. Leave now for the last time" Mia said.

The smile on Roy's face vanished when he realized Mia was serious.

"What do you think you are doing? I'm here to see Julia and I'm not just anyone. I'm the father of her children so why do I need an appointment to see her?" Roy asked.

Mia picked up the land phone instead and made a call.

"I need about five of you here in the next two minutes. If it's over two minutes, consider yourself fired because this wouldn't have happened if you were diligent with your work" Mia said and dropped the land phone.

"Two minutes is all you have. Within two minutes, you will be kicked out of here" Mia said and continued with her work.

"I'm going to make you pay for this" Roy mumbled.
