Under Damien's gaze, Amelia quietly lowered her eyes.

"I... I didn't intend to say anything, I just... replied, I don't know why so many people replied to me..."

Seeing Damien reaching out his hand, Amelia instinctively backed away, thinking that he was going to hit her. Damien's fair fingers stopped in front of her eyes.

"Give me your phone," he said.

Amelia reached for her phone on the sofa and handed it to him, while wondering if she had said anything bad about Mr. Kingsley before. She had only said good things about him, so why were those bitter people picking on her?

Damien opened the phone and accessed Twitter. The trending topic about Melonie was no longer there, but her private messages were filled with notifications, making his face grow even darker.

Randomly opening two messages, he saw a barrage of insults. Gripping her phone tightly, he turned around and walked away.

Amelia jumped off the sofa, wanting to chase after him, but Damien looked back.

"Stay at home, I'll be back soon," he said.

Isaac couldn't believe that one day Damien would come to him because of what happened online.

"What? You're going to sue all these people?" Isaac looked at him, not knowing what else to say. He thought Damien was acting impulsively, but of course, Damien had the means to do so. If he sued these people, he would definitely win every case.

Isaac poured Damien a cup of tea and sat across from him.

"Damien, you might not be afraid of all these nonsense online, but it's different for Amelia. There are hundreds of people involved, and if you sue them all, it will only attract more haters for her. They will do everything they can to bring her down."

Damien looked at his tea cup, his voice cold and sharp.

"Then we'll target those extreme comments. I'll sue them until they lose everything. As for Amelia, I'll protect her myself. You just follow my instructions and send the legal letters."

Isaac was one of the partners at the second largest law firm in Atlanta. He didn't want to take over the family business and preferred being a lawyer, which he excelled at.

Inside a luxurious suite at The Oasis Grand Resort, Victoria angrily threw her phone on the ground.

"What is going on? Where did this come from?" she exclaimed in frustration.

Her manager stood by, his face equally grim.

"We don't know either. The schedule was all set for today. We were just waiting for the hype to build up, and as soon as those photos were released, you and Damien would have been linked. Then, after the fans dissect it all, your status in the industry would have risen significantly. Who knew someone like Melonie would show up out of nowhere?"

Victoria's beautiful face twisted with anger. She didn't even look at her phone on the ground as she fumed, "Investigate! Find out what her background is. How dare she emerge at a time like this, seeking attention!"

A malicious glint flashed in her eyes.

"If she dares to steal my spot on the trending page, then I won't let her off easily."

The manager rolled up his sleeves slightly.

"Take a breath. Our people are already looking into it. We should have some answers soon."

Victoria angrily retorted, "What good is any answer now? The entire internet's attention is on her. Even if we release those photos, it won't make a difference."

The manager sat beside her, gently patting her back to console her.

"You need to stay strong. Even if you'll be overshadowed for a bit, there will still be attention. We can't wait any longer. Let's release those photos now."

Victoria looked to her manager, furrowing her brows in contemplation.

"But the effect will be much weaker."

She was truly unwilling. She had planned for so long and even endured being forced to drink by that Noah. She had put in so much effort just to make others think she had climbed up the tree of Damien. But now, it was stolen by Melonie, and she couldn't help but feel resentful.
