104.2- Abrupt Confession
"Roy!" All three of them called me suddenly. I narrowed my eyes in bewilderment.

“What?”

"You just said home, Garnet told me you never say it." Lesley told me and that's why they are reacting like this.

Garnet squeaked and hugged me, "Oh my God, I love you so much Roy. You finally called it!" She said happily, hugging me tightly. 

I smiled and patted her back, "You made me." I said to her, She grinned and pulled away.

"I don't even remember when was the last time you said home." Mother's eyes teared up.

I realized, I may have shown that I love Mother but my own self was lost somewhere inside me and I forget how it feels to love and be loved. I smiled and gave Mother a side hug and said again,

"Let's go home, Mother. Our home." I said. We then went home, "So.. you are still living here, Garnet?" Lesley asked teasingly.

"Yeah, Mother didn't want me to go."

"Mother or son?" She teased. 

"Both." I replied with a playful smirk.

"First tell me about how you and Lucien developed that much?" Garnet asked, growing impatient. 

Lesley laughed a little and replied shyly, "I don't know when that happened. Things happened, I hated him, never thought I would give him a chance. We began to hangout, tease each other and before I knew it, I fell for him. When he smiled my heart felt calm, when he cried, I cried too. It's just like this." Lesley said, blushing and chuckling nervously. 

Garnet began to tease her as I asked, "What did Lucien whisper to you?" Lesley's whole face turned red as she stuttered.

"When you will become mine.. I will never let you go." 

We all laughed a little and I increased her startle and nervousness more, "He is very possessive about what his." Lesley was still, forming her lips in a thin line. After a few seconds, 

Mother reminded us, "First we have to bear Mini Garnet's anger for not taking her with us. She was very close to Lucien." 

We all remained silent and when we went home, mini Garnet was crying.

"Brother left and you didn't take me with you!" She cried. 

"Because you are in your school Eri." Garnet said, engulfing her in a hug.

"I will miss him." She cried, frowning at us.

"I know. Here, he told me to give you his hat." Garnet whispered, patting her head and putting his black hat over her head. 

"When will he come back?" She asked expectantly.

"Soon.." I said with a smirk, turning to Lesley who was blinking with a red face. 

Garnet also turned to her and smirked, "Because he left his heart here and he will surely come back to take it."

"Stop teasing her." Mother defended Lesley and took her. 

Eri kept talking to Garnet and I went to my room. As painful it may sound but me and Garnet are not in the same room. She and Eri share the same room. I went to my room and plopped myself on the bed.

Where there was an addition of people at our home, some people were moving away from us too. 

‘Maybe that is what we call life, one comes while the other goes.’ I thought with a long sigh.

I wonder if Garnet went back to her home how terrorizing this place will become. I sighed and walked to the balcony and saw Garnet looking at my garden. I smiled and went to see her.

"Hey.." I called her. She smiled and turned to me.

"What are you doing here? Did Mini Garnet calm down?" I asked, standing beside her.

"Yeah she did. She is with Lesley and Mother... And I thought maybe I should take a look at that place where you used to get me a rose everyday."

"Do you want me to give you them again?" I asked. She looked at me and shook her head no. 

"No. I like seeing them like this, if you pluck them, they will wilt, here they can live long." She said putting her head on my chest. 

I held her hand and intertwined my fingers with hers, feeling so perfect as if nothing could ever make me feel that lively ever.

"It's beautiful." She breathed out.

"You know, I used to sit here for hours and talk to myself... I guess that's what solitude does to you." I laughed a little.

"I am happy that there's no solitude anymore." Garnet whispered. 

"And will never be." I hummed, kissing her hand.

"Never." We both said at the same time.

We chuckled and pulled away. "By the way, Roy.." She called. "Hmm?" 

"What does that coin you gave me mean to you? Okay, your first money but still." 

"Oh that... When I earned it, Father said he is proud of me, that I deserve the top and he will make sure I reach it. Guess he went too far but I was beautiful. The first and last time he patted my head." I smiled, telling her about its importance.

I just wanted him to love me…

She passed me a beautiful smile and put her head over my chest to tranquilize my soul. 

"I love you... From now on, there won't be sadness anymore."

"I know... because you are with me." We then talked for a while and went to our respective rooms.

....And our days passed like a fleeting moment...
