Chapter: 47 ( Escaping)

"Hello, Ashi ma I am so sorry I shouldn't have come without informing you. I am very sorr..." Her sentence cut in the middle when she heard his voice and froze in her place. "Hello baby" his cold husky voice came out from another side. "You forgot me so soon. Very bad but I forgave you because I love you na. You know your lovely Ashi Maa is with me right now, don't you want to meet her? Huh!" He said mocking dangerously which made her shiver.

"It can't be you. You can't do this" she whispered horrified and started shaking in fear. "Of course baby, it's me, your Samar," he said laughing. "No... No" she whispered and shook her head. "Common now, don't waste time. I guess you don't want to see your Ashi ma ever again. Don't worry I will fulfill this wish of yours by ki... " she cuts him off with her shout.

"Samar," she yelled his name while a whimper left her mouth. "She didn't wrong you. Why are you hurting her?" Seher said helplessly, letting her tears fall freely. "Trust me, I won't" he stopped smirking evilly " until you listen to me " then he completed.

"Please Samar, don't do anything with her. I... I... will do anything you ask me to do" she begged and agreed for the sake of her dear Ashi ma. "Good girl. Come on now quickly reach my given address. And yes one more thing, if you even try to tell anything to anyone then you won't be able to see your beloved Ashi ma ever again" his voice was calm yet screaming danger.

"What did I ever wronged you Samar? Why are you doing this to me?" She cried clutching the phone and sat down on the floor on her knees. "I love you Seher and you have to come to me anyhow. Now stop wasting my time and come here quickly" he said and hung up the call.

She cried and cried more. Her phone beeped with a message Samar had sent her the address. There is no one in the house, Mayank is also in the office, and the family members have not reached yet. Seher stood up wiping her tears and walked out of the mansion praying to God to save Ashwini. She didn't tell Mayank she just left her phone in the mansion.

After some time Seher reached his penthouse. Pressing the button on the 20th floor she waited for the lift to open. Tears were not stopping in her eyes, her breath became heavy while her legs trembled in fear. She was going to face him after five years. Mayank was never his target, she was his obsession, he was obsessed with her, and thought of his obsession as his love.

The door was particularly opened and she stepped in. Her eyes roamed around the living room but no one was there. Seher checked the entire penthouse in horror but there's no trace of her Ashi ma and Samar was also nowhere to be found.

She came back to the living room and her gaze fell on the note which was stuck by the pillow. "Welcome home baby. Now get ready in this dress and come to that place" Samar has left the note for her with the box of the dress. It has a red off-shoulder gown.

Seher wore that dress unwillingly while her tears of helplessness rolled down her cheeks. She doesn't want to see his face. She just wants Ashwini to be safe. She already lost her mother because of his madness and she can't bear another loss, she might die. "Please Mayank, come soon" she whispered in her heart while tears fell in her hands and went out of the penthouse.

Seher reached another apartment which was far away from the city. She rang the doorbell and a butler opened the door and took her to the living room where the priest was sitting in front of the holy chanting some mantras. Seher clutched her dress tightly and took steps back and hit someone. Her body stiffened and she immediately pulled back and came face to face with him who is her nightmare, her fear. Her body started shivering and she started hiccupping in fear.

"I missed you so much," he said and tried to hug her but she stepped back which angered him. "Wh... Where is Ashi ma?" She asked slowly with fear in her eyes. "She is here also. She will come if you cooperate with me" he said. "No... First, bring her here" she demanded. "You are in no state to demand but still you... Never mind I will fulfill your wish as well" he said and ordered his one man to get Ashwini here. Seher was praying to God in her heart for Aahwini's safety when she heard her voice.

"Ashi ma" she whispered and her lips broke into a smile with tears in her eyes. "Ashi ma, are you okay na? Did you get hurt somewhere?" She said and checked her out and to her relief Ashwini was fine. "Seher, why did you come here? I will become on my own. You didn't have to come here" Ashwini said, grabbing her hands. "How could I leave you? If something happens to you then I would have died" she said and cried hysterically.

"Shhh!... " Ashwini tried to control her but Samar said in between "Don't worry Seher. I am not that bad, I won't harm her until you listen to me," he said dangerously from her behind. Seher gave him a curt look with disgust in her eyes. "And aunty, you did wrong with me. You kept me in the hospital without my will. But never mind, I will have to forgive you because you are important for my baby" Samar said, sliding his hand on her waist. It disgusted her and she immediately pulled back from his touch.

In a blink, Seher sprayed the pepper spray on his face and his eyes started burning. "Seher, what the hell you did? Ahh," Samar shouted, rubbing his eyes. The burning sensation was unbearable for him. Seher held Ashwini's hand and ran towards the exit but his men had already closed the door from outside. She turned to the other side and locked themselves in a random room.

"Don't worry Ashi ma I already informed the police they will be here anytime soon this time I won't spare Samar, he has to pay for his wrongdoing and Mayank will also find us, I believe in him" Seher said in a go.

"My baby is not weak. She is strong, very strong" Ashwini said, smiling with her teary eyes. "I don't have to be afraid of him anymore. He can't do anything to me. Mayank won't let him" she said confidently remembering his words and a small smile spread on her lips.

"Open the damn door, Seher. You know you can't escape" Samar said, banging hard on the door, making her flinch. "Seher we have to go before he catches us," Ashwini said and went to the window. "We are not on a very high floor, if we try to get out of the window, we can manage to escape," Seher said looking out of the window.

"You just love to do this stunt, no?" Ashwini said, shaking her head because She always likes to sneak out by windows. "Okay, we will go out by this window," Ashwini agreed. "Open the door, Goddammit" he yelled banging on the door. "Ashi ma you go first," she said. "No, you go first," She argued. "Ashi ma we don't have much time. You go down first then I will come after you" she said pulling out the curtains from the cupboard.
