Chapter 48 Music Practice
What caught her eye was a black deep V suspender skirt, which felt like soft satin and was very comfortable.
The whole skirt was embroidered with several floral patterns, and the style was both elegant and generous.
However, Lilly, who picked up the dress and gestured, and Yulia, who was watching her gesture, both frowned at the same time.
"He asked you to wear this kind of dress?" Yulia spoke first to express her dissatisfaction and disapproval.
"The person who came is indeed his secretary." Lilly was also a little depressed. If she put this on, it would be a flash of light, which meant that people could see it at will.
It was strange. She remembered that he was not such an unrestrained person in his bones. Sometimes he was so conservative that she mistakenly thought that he was not a billionaire, but a supporter of Platonic love.
"Is it really a man to wear it like this?" Lilly muttered, holding the skirt and gesturing a few more times. It was not that she didn't dare to wear it, but she didn't know why she felt a little uneasy in her heart.
Lilly shook her head and dismissed the thought. Taking off her dress, she went to the multimedia room with Yulia for the practice.
When Lilly first entered college, she felt he was very similar to Ethan, especially in his good nature. He didn't accept other people's opinions. This was especially noticeable. That's why she liked him more than the other teachers. Although she didn't love him, she longed to get closer to him.
But over time, Lilly discovered that his smile seemed superficial, and sometimes he'd stare at her for most of the lesson, which always made her feel uneasy, as if he were waiting to catch her in a mistake.
While Lilly was concentrating on answering questions, she felt a strange sight, and her back instantly began to tremble. Looking up, she saw him staring at her. He still looked at her absentmindedly, as before, but today he was a little different.
The smile in his eyes was much more genuine, and it seemed as if his gaze was laced with emotions she couldn't quite place.
Lilly's head went numb, and she couldn't help but mutter, "What's wrong with the professor today?"
She followed his gaze and looked up, but saw nothing. Suddenly, an inexplicable thought occurred to her: maybe it was her hair?
When she arrived at class with her hair done, many of her male classmates whistled playfully.
Professor... does he have a hair fetish?
Lilly finished answering the questions with a depressed expression and then went to a separate classroom to take her sight-singing test.
When it was her turn, she looked at the sheet music and began to sing. When she finished, she glanced at him, but found him still staring at her hair, unresponsive, as if he'd lost his mind.
Outside, many students were still waiting for their practice. Lilly cleared her throat, “Sir, I'm done singing. Um, can I leave?"
He didn't react. Had he really turned off his mind while he was examining her?
Lilly stretched her hand out in front of him and shook it in displeasure, shouting, "Sir?"
Suddenly, he moved and grabbed her hand.
Lilly's consciousness instantly froze, and she stood frozen in place.
What was he doing?
She didn't think he had any dirty intentions, as he had always had a very good reputation in the academy.
On several occasions, while he was busy arranging the atmosphere at the college, a female student attempted to seduce him.
She had already sat on his lap, but according to the complaints of the visiting administrators, despite his almost undressed state, he didn't even look up or react to the aroused desire.
Terribly calm.
Therefore, rumors spread throughout the college that he was gay, and as a result, male students began to seduce him.
The result was the same. If a student wanted to undress, he let them. If they wanted to ride him, he let them, but they didn't react.
Until the executives arrived, they were in shock.
Terribly calm.
"Sir?" Lilly called out hesitantly. His gaze was so unfocused that she suspected he might be sleepwalking. Lilly thought this to herself and said it, ignoring it.
He calmly and softly replied, "I'm not sleepwalking."
Lilly was stunned and surprised by his serious, earnest retort. "Why are you..."
"Am I sleepwalking?"
Hearing this, he let go of her hand, glanced briefly at her hair, and then looked her over from head to toe.
Lilly was stared at so intently that she felt numb from head to toe. She asked awkwardly, "I finished the song. Can I leave?"
He nodded, but as she turned and headed for the door, he suddenly asked, "Are you going on a date, dressed so beautifully?"
Lilly's heart sank. Although his words sounded strange, she turned and replied, "No."
He, who had been lazily leaning against the piano, suddenly straightened up, took two steps forward, and clenched his fists. "You don't have a boyfriend?"
Lilly felt strange, nodded indifferently, and said, "Yes, no."
His lips lifted slightly, and a charming smile appeared on his refined face. He said softly, "Go."
Lilly, trying to ignore the strange feeling in her heart, said, "Oh," and left the classroom.
Yulia, second in line by student number, grabbed the slightly confused Lilly and asked anxiously, "Why do you look like that? Is the test too hard?"
Lilly shook her head, pulled her aside, and whispered, "Sir, it's a little strange today. Be careful on the test."
Since Yulia appears cold on the outside but is very strong inside and possesses a certain physical and mental purity, it would be unpleasant if he grabbed her as he had just grabbed her.
Yulia didn't understand what Lilly said, thinking she was reminding her to pay close attention to the exam and avoid making mistakes. After all, he was the most difficult teacher among all the questioners in college, so she didn't ask too many questions.
Lilly waited a bit, took over a dozen selfies, adjusted the color of the photo to find a flattering angle and a fresh look, and changed it to her new Insta.
By this time, Yulia had also finished her practice and left the classroom. Lilly put her phone away and asked, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Yulia replied calmly. "The questions aren't difficult, I just have to take the practice."
Yulia looked perfectly normal, and Lilly pondered for a moment, as if there was nothing suspicious on the faces of the students emerging from the test.
Then... was she really the only one he grabbed and started asking strange questions, like whether she was going on a date or whether she had a boyfriend?
