Chapter 70 Hot Hypocrisy
XAVIER
Walking out of the damn room, I took the right, heading towards my room along the hallway.
I saw Ximena approaching still in her pajamas.
"Oh, Xander," she called, smiling. "Good morning."
I didn't respond but walked past her.
"I made breakfast,"
"Pass," I said, getting closer to my door.
"Xavier,"
I got to my door and reached for my doorknob.
"Xavier, wait."
I opened my door and walked into my room. Closing the door carelessly, I let out a sigh as I walked towards the desk where the remaining rum from last night was.
This fucking shit.
I picked up the bottle and poured some amount into a glass.
I picked it up and took a sip.
A knock came on my door and it opened instantly, taking my attention.
"What the...."
"Can we talk, please?" Ximena asked.
"I'll pass on that too. Now leave my fucking room." I ordered, turning away as I gulped my entire drink.
"How long are you going to keep carrying these grudges for your family?"
I poured myself more rum as she went on.
"For Christ's sake, it has been two and a half decades. Why are you still being like this?"
"Because you all made me like this, Ximena," I said, looking at her.
She stared at me.
"Two or five decades or maybe a fucking century, I don't give a damn."
Her face twitched.
"What the fuck is family anyway where there is no love or fucking support?" I asked, turning away and sipping my drink as I stared at the windows.
"I apologize for everything that happened."
I scoffed, taking another sip.
"I am sorry for everything we did."
"Yeah right."
"I am sorry for what I did."
I turned to her.
She is staring everywhere but at me.
"Do you even remember what you fucking did, Ximena?"
"Look, I...."
"Do you remember all the damn things you did?" I retorted, making her look at me.
"The lies you told your dad that made him have his hooligans whip me mercilessly."
She heaved a sigh, closing her eyes.
"Or making me take the fall for all his expensive vases you fucking broke!"
"I said I am sorry okay?!"
I raised my brows, making her face twitch.
"Xavier...."
"Get out." I retorted.
She heaved a sigh.
"You look like bad luck," I said, turning away as I sipped my drink.
I heard her walking away and next, the sound of my door opening and closing.
I took another sip.
My phone rang in my pocket. I took it out and I saw Jason's name.
I took the call and placed my phone close to my ear.
"Xavier,"
"You'd better have some good news, man."
He scoffed. "Of course, your majesty."
"Get on with it," I said as I walked back to the table and poured my rum into my glass.
"The jet is fixed and ready."
I put down the bottle and picked up my glass.
"So we will be there to pick you and the other person you spoke to in two hours," he said, forcing Jessica to my thoughts.
"Good. " I said, sipping my drink as I walked closer to the window.
"Who is the person though? Your mom?"
"No. Just forget it and get here in an hour instead. I can't wait to leave this god-forsaken place."
"An hour?"
"Yes."
"But you know that is not going to be...."
"It will be possible, Jason." I retorted. "Just get on with it already."
"What the...."
I hung up and threw my phone on the bed, taking a sip as I stared at the view.
"Now, kiss her,"
"Uh.....oh ahhh!"
I gripped the glass as the little guy underneath my sweatpants reacted to the memory of the way her insane tightness gripped it.
Fuck, Xavier.
What the fuck are you doing?
What the fuck did you do?
What got into you, man?
First, Kendra.
Now.....
Jessica?
Freaking Jessica? Seriously?
How the fuck did....
I clenched my jaw, gripping the glass.
How the fuck did it happen?
To make everything worse, she is a fucking virgin.
Ugh!
What the hell, Xavier? How on earth could you even find that kid attractive?
What happened to you?
This is some stupid shit.
Hell, why the fuck did you let this fucking happen?
Here you are pissed at your family for not being loving and supportive but you are betraying the other family that gave you more than love and support you have always wanted.
Your best friends' daughters, dude.
Brad and Leo will deep you in hell lake.
I gulped the entire drink and placed it on the desk as I took steps towards the bathroom while taking off my tank top.
It's this place.
I need to leave ASAP.
This place is fucking cursed.
TWO HOURS LATER
"When next will you visit, man?" Julio asked, dragging my luggage for me as we walked along the hallway.
It has been two frustrating hours and Jason is finally at the airport with my hat waiting for me.
I just can't wait to leave this despicable place before doing more crazy reckless things.
"You know it's been so long and you're just leaving," Julio said.
"Well, I shouldn't even be here if you and the rest of the family didn't lie to me," I said, adjusting the side of my jacket collar.
He huffed.
"Come on, bro." He stopped in his tracks as he walked past him.
"We had to lie."
I stopped in my tracks, heaving a tired sigh as I looked at him. He is staring at me with a concern I don't have time or want to have time to freaking care about right now.
"If not I wouldn't even be looking at you right now."
"It's the same thing I just said, Cabron."(motherfucker) I said.
He heaved a sigh.
"Bring my luggage already. I don't have time for this shit," I said, heading towards the stairs as I sensed him following me behind.
"You really need to think things through, bro. We are your only family." He went on as he followed me behind.
I rolled my eyes, getting closer to the stairs.
"Those people out there, friends and all are not your family."
"Yeah right."
"Why don't you stay back one more day?"
"Not happening."
"Okay, half day?"
I scoffed, getting to the stairs. I saw everyone standing at the end of the stairs, staring at me.
Wow.
Were they waiting for me?
Hmm.
Nice way to send me off.
Sweet.
I descended the stars majestically as I undid my jacket button while staring at the so-called family.
Xander, Mom, Ximena, and her two daughters.
I don't remember their names.
Call them tiny Ximenas.
Whatever but all of them are staring at me.
"What a lovely way to send me off," I said, smiling as I stood on the last four stairs.
They are still staring at me.
I put my hands in my pockets as I stared at them too.
"And it is also lovely and advisable that you stare at me all you want because it will be the last time you all will see me again," I said, making Mom lower her gaze.
"Oh relax, Mom."
She looked at me.
"You have your favorite son here as always," I said, moving my eyes to Xander.
He is staring at me.
"I am not surprised he is not married with kids. He is stuck with you and this house." I added without looking away from him.
He shook his head.
I raised my brows.
"Xavier, mi amor," mom called, sending a tiny pain in my heart as I moved my eyes everywhere but at her.
"Don't go please." she sobbed.
I rolled my eyes, heaving a sigh as I ignored the sting in my heart.
"Don't leave your mother, ni ho."
"Oh please, Mom. Drop the tears," I said, staring at her.
I saw tears in her eyes and her hands were clasped.
"Your emotional blackmail can't work on me," I said.
She lowered her gaze, sobbing silently.
"Come Abuela," one of Ximena's daughters said, placing her hand around her mom's shoulders and taking her towards the living room.
I moved my eyes to Ximena.
She is scowling at me.
I scoffed.
"Uncle Xavier," the second daughter took my attention, scowling at me like her mother.
I stared at her.
"Jessica left here with tears in her eyes. Uncle Julio, did you tell him?" she asked, staring at Julio.
I moved my eyes to Julio.
He nodded while looking at me.
"It's true. She cried silently all through the ride to the airport and she refused to tell me what was wrong."
"That's because Uncle Xavier here is the reason," the daughter took my attention again.
"What did you do to her?" she asked, sending last night's recklessness back to my fucking head.
I heaved a sigh, looking away momentarily and then back at Ximena's daughter.
She is really scowling at me.
"With all due respect, uncle, you are nothing but an absolute asshole."
I raised my brows.
"Mica," Ximena called.
"No mom. He has to hear things," Mica said, looking at me.
I stared at her, wanting to hear more.
