Chapter 109 Pervert

Chapter 109 Pervert
XAVIER

"Ugh! You despicable pervert!" she groaned, hitting me on my chest and forcing me to take steps back as I chuckled.

"I hate you! Go away!" she yelled, still covering her boobs with her hands.

"I was just messing around. It is not a big deal."

She groaned again, walking angrily towards her clothes and giving me a view of her back in just her panties.

I held down a groan but she bent down for her clothes, forcing a groan out of me and I cleared my throat as she turned to me with her clothes covering her upper body and gave me her killer frown.

I opened my mouth to speak but.....

"You are a relentless jerk and I hate you with passion she yelled, walking away angrily towards the cabin.

"It is not a big deal, fireball. It's just a prank. Besides, it's not like I haven't seen and touched most of everything before!" I said a bit aloud, making her stop in her tracks.

She turned to me.

I stared at her.

She began taking steps towards me.

Steps I kinda find scary.

Like I am about to get my eyes scratched out of their sockets.

"You know what,"

I raised my brows.

"I agree you have seen and touched everything and it is not your fault cause I was stupid and naive enough to let you."

I furrowed my brows.

"But that is the only memory you ever have because I will never give you that opportunity again especially now that I fully understand the perverted and heartless jerk that you are. I wish you could disappear and burn in hell!" With that, she walked away angrily.

I stared at her as a lot of weird feelings filled me.

She got out of sight, making me turn towards the lake as all she said repeated in my head like a fucking alarm.

I sucked my teeth, recalling that night.

I won't lie, it was good.

Actually, thinking about it now, I think it is one of the best I have had.

I was too blinded and distracted by regret that I didn't reflect on it much.

She was so fucking tight. Probably the tightest I have ever experienced.

But I forgot after everything.

Then proceed to being mean to her the next morning.

I guess I took it too far. Hell i didn't even fly in the same jet with her.

It wasn't irritation. It was just.......fucking regret.

I was doing too much. I know I was.

I mean I was having an affair with Brad's daughter. I still couldn't control myself with Leo's.

It was fucking too much.

Like how could I let her get to me?

It was the fucking bikini she wore with my nieces.

And then her boobs were staring at me after I took her to her room and placed her on the bed.

I was literally weakened at that moment.

And she let me.

But I had to be mean to her the next morning.

I didn't think it hurt her this much until now.

Sighing, I kicked a tiny stone into the lake.

You really do need to disappear and burn in hell, Xavier.

MINUTES LATER......

Walking along the forest, I stared at Jessica as she walked ahead of me.

She is giving a serious distance right now and that is understandable.

I would do the same if I could.

But I need to apologize so I can get rid of the awful feeling I am feeling right now.

I just hope she accepts it.

I heard a sigh from her as she massaged her neck while walking.

"Tired?" I asked.

I got no response.

I deserve that.

I wasn't expecting one either.

Neither am I giving up.

"We could rest a little and start later."

Still no response from her as she walked.

"We need to rest and find something to eat first."

She kept walking.

"I don't think we have enough strength for this fucking journey. Especially you."

Still no response, just walking.

"Jessica,"

No response.

"Jessica,"

Still no response.

I took fast steps towards her and held her hand.

But it was snatched off my grip like someone who got burnt by a fucking furnace.

"Don't touch me!" She snapped.

"Finally I got your attention."

"What the hell do you want?"

I opened my mouth to speak.....

"Why can't you just stay the hell away from me huh?"

"I was...."

"Leave me alone!"

"Can you just fucking listen?"

"No!" She snapped back, turning away and picking up her walk.

"Don't get mad when I call you a kid."

She stopped in her tracks and threw me a scowl.

"Please.....listen," I said in a calmer tone as I walked closer to her. "I want to apologize for the way I treated you after that night."

She huffed, walking away.

"I am sorry!"

"I don't need your worthless apology, Mr Cole," she snapped, scowling at me. "Because that is what it is. Worthless."

I stared at her.

"You will always be mean, arrogant, and heartless to me." she turned to walk away.

"I was drowning in regret because I was thinking about my best friend."

She stopped in her tracks.

"Your dad. I fucking betrayed him. I couldn't have you around me at that moment because what we did was hunting me. I didn't mean to hurt you, trust me."

She scoffed, turning to me.

"Hurt me?"

I stared at her.

"You really think that night is the only thing that makes you heartless?" She asked while walking towards me.

I stared at her as she stood in front of me, staring at me with anger and pain dancing in her eyes.

"What else did I do?"

She scoffed in disbelief.

"Come on tell me."

"A lot, Mr Cole."

I stared at her.

"I remember when I was eleven, you looked at me with irritation after I mistakenly ruined your suit with the cupcakes I brought for you."

That day filled my head.

"I was young but I noticed you didn't eat the remaining cupcakes. I found them in the waste bin," she said and I noticed a flash through her eyes, making my heart ache a bit.

"I only bumped into you and you yelled at me like I am a kid! I only told everyone about your state at the hospital and you made it look like I had committed the worst crime ever."

"That was....."

"I am not done!" she snapped, making me stare at her.

"I invited you to my congratulatory party."

I furrowed my brows.

"You didn't show up or reach out to me."

Oh fuck.

"But at Kendra's show, you didn't only show up. You were excited to be there. You brought her a bouquet and offered to give her more gifts."

I reached for her hand. "Jessica...."

"Don't," she snapped calmly, moving away and adding to my aching heart as I stared at my hand.

"I kept asking myself what I had done to make you dislike me so much."

I looked at her.

"You don't only call me a kid. You make me feel like a worthless one. You place Kendra and Alex on a high spot like I am not the same age as Kendra."

"You are, Jessica. I am so fucking sorry."

"Just forget it. I don't want to hear it. I don't even need it. If I didn't know you better I would think you are being for real right now." she said, walking away.

"I am being for....Jessica."

No response.

"Je....." I paused, taking steps ahead and following her behind.

AN HOUR LATER.....

I stared at her as she walked ahead of me. That day she came to my office to invite me to her party replayed in my head.

I dismissed it as a kids' party because she mentioned cupcakes and chocolates.

That was fucking harsh.

I am just realizing that.

Not only that, but she also told me about the kiss, and I made things worse. She was literally telling the truth.

I really fucked up.

And it is messing with my head beyond my expectations.

I doubt if forgiving me will be an easy one.

I didn't even think about the party. Hell i didn't even pick up the fucking date.

Then I had to show up at Kendra. Give her flowers and offer to add more gifts.

I gave her a fucking beach house.

Think about how Jessica would see me when she finds out about that.

God, this is fucked up.

"Ow," Jessica reacted as she stopped in her tracks, staring at her feet.

My legs took me towards her quickly and I placed my hands on her arm.

"What is wrong?" I asked, staring at her feet.

She shook herself, forcing my hand off her arm.

"Stop touching me!" she ordered, scowling at me.

I raised my hands slightly in surrender.

She scoffed, walking past me angrily.

"Can we talk?" I asked, staring at her as she kept walking.

"I am done talking to you," she said, making me take fast steps towards her. I grabbed her hand, making her snatch it off my grip.

"What is your problem?!"

"Just listen!" I blurted, regretting it instantly as she scowled at me.

I heaved a sigh, calming my nerves.

"I admit I have not been a good uncle to you,"

"You are not my real uncle," she retorted.

I closed my eyes, nodded in agreement, and opened my eyes.

"You are right. I am not."

She folded her hands and looked away.

"I have been terrible to you. To be honest, I wasn't even paying attention. But I am now. I realize I messed up. I treated you badly and I am sorry."

She is still looking away,

"I am deeply sorry, Jessica. You don't deserve any of that."

She turned and took steps ahead

"What do I need to do to make you forgive me?" I blurted, hoping to get an answer.

She stopped in her tracks and turned to me.

I opened my mouth to speak but she took angry steps towards me.

"What do I need you to do?"

I didn't respond but stared at her.

"Nothing, Mr Cole. Absolutely nothing."

"Jessica...."

"All I want right now is to get back to the resort. To my mother and people who genuinely care about me."

My heart reacted as I stared at her.

"I want to be so far away from you right now. You are the worst energy to be around." She turned to walk away but I held her wrist.

"Hey..."

"Can you please calm down?" I asked as she struggled to get my grip off her wrist.

"Let go," she said, still struggling.

"You don't want to be around me, I get it."

She scowled at me.

"But enough walking ahead of me. I am the lead here. You should be following me."

She scoffed, taking me by surprise.

"The lead? Yeah right. If you were a good leader, we would have found our way back to the resort and not be standing here in the middle of a forest, LOST!"

"That's not....."

"YOU'RE A TERRIBLE AND CLUELESS LEADER," she stressed.

I smirked. "So you think."

Her face twitched. "What?"

"Maybe if you stop being so fucking resentful I might help us get back in no time."

She scoffed, shaking her head.

I raised my brows.

"Let go of my hand," she snarled.

"No,"

"Ugh," she moved her other hand to hit me but I caught it instantly, surprising her.

"Too slow," I said, smirking.

Her surprised face fell into a frown.

"Let go of me!"

"Hey!" an unfamiliar male voice took our attention from ahead.

It was a bearded man that looks around my age, dressed in a brown vest, black t-shirt, brown baggy pants, a brown hat, and holding a crossbow hung on his shoulder.

I released Jessica's hand slowly while staring at the strange man who was a few steps away from us.

Where the fuck did he come from?
