CHAPTER 3

SHAURYA’S POV……

Finally we came here in Los Angeles. Now you guys thinking who am I and where am I from and why am I here? Lots of questions right? Don’t worry I will tell you step by step. First I will introduce myself

I am Shaurya Khanna. S. K group of industries is mine. I am the CEO of my company. By listening this now you will be clear that by profession I am a businessman. In my family I have my mom Mrs. Sakshi Khanna, Dad Mr. Ritesh Khanna, younger sibling Aradhna Khanna and my best friend Arav arora.

I love my family so much. That much that I can do anything for them. My birthday is coming, so my sister and mom wanted to celebrate my birthday here in Los Angeles. I love this place. It’s give me some different kind of energy. My mom is a house wife and she loves all of us. My dad is a businessman and he is my mentor as well. I follow his foot step, he is the one who always guide me in business. My younger sibling Aradhna, she is my baby, I love her, adores her. She is cheerful, kind and such a pure soul. She never ever hurt anyone in her life. She is just 15 and behaves like a mature girl but most of the time she becomes childish. But never demand those things who is not right for her. She knows the value of money, relations, culture, traditions. I have my best friend, Arav Arora, pain in the ass. Always trouble me but still he is like my brother to me or you can say he is my brother cum best friend. He lives with us. My mom’s sister that means my maasi (Aunt) she dies in a car accident along with her husband. When Arav was born they were coming that night at home but all of a sudden a truck came from another direction and hit their car. Driver was died on the spot so do my Aunt and uncle. Only Arav was there crying.

My dad and mom went there and when they saw Arav, Dad adopted him. Arav calls my mom dad as mom and dad. He knows already what happens with his parents. He have his own business and also One of my partner in my business. He loves my family and we always stood by each other side in bad times. Just because of me he breakup with his 3 girlfriends because they all were gold diggers. I want a nice girl for him, who will take care of him, guide him, love him, adore him, respect him, trust him. I want him to settle down. He is one year younger than me. My parents are behind me and Arav. Now don’t ask me why? Because they want us to get married.

Leave all these. So after taking a rest for a day, next day we all went for a shopping. I was looking for a shoe section and Aradhna take Arav with her. She likes his choices, so she said “Arav bro, you are coming with me to choose some dresses for me.” so he went with her. Mom and dad doing their shopping and I am trying shoes. After some time I like one shoes and I immediately buy it. The n I thought to buy the shoes for Arav as well. So I was looking for it when I heard a girl voice behind me. I turned around to look at her and when I turned I was just looking at her, she is so beautiful. I never ever saw any girl like her. Her face, her eyes, her pink lips, her waist, her figure wait….. What am I thinking. Shut up Shaurya I thought

“Yes miss?” I asked her

“Ummm, actually I want these shoes, will you please not buy it and give it to me.” she said.

“But I already bought it. I am sorry.”

“Don’t worry, instead of this shoes I will buy you another pair of shoes. But I want this only.”

I can’t give it to her just like this. I want to talk with her more but how can I stop her. If I want I can give this shoes to her but I will not because I want to talk to her. And all of the sudden I said No to her and turned around to look for another shoes.

Then I heard someone crying I turned around and look at her she was crying. I got panic and I don’t know how to make her stop

“Hey, hey why are you crying?” I asked her

“Because I want this shoes only. My brother liked this shoes only when we came last time. His birthday is coming and I want to gift this shoes only. It’s his last birthday with us.”

“Why last birthday? Is he going somewhere?” I asked her

“Yes, he is going to India and he will never come back and I love my brother so much that I……I…..” she stammered and started to cry. I can feel it if my Aradhna was in her place and wanted to buy me shoes and someone else took it then she also started to cry. we elder brothers are so lucky to have them as their sister. I am talking about my sister and talking about her elder brother. Don’t get me wrong ok.

“I am so sorry to hear that. Please take these shoes. I will buy another one. Please don’t cry.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes….. take it” I said and give her these shoes.

“Thank you so much. I really appreciated. How much?” she asked

“No, it’s ok. You can take it.”

“I want to gift my brother, so you have to take it. Wait, manager uncle will you pack these shoes for me and please pack the best pair of shoes for him and I will pay to you.”

“Hey, you don’t have to……”

“Take my card uncle. Bye dear” she said to the manager and after paying it she went from there. I happily took those shoes which she selected and then went from there.

I was searching mom and dad. After some minute I saw them and they are talking with some girl. When I get close to them a girl just went from there. I didn’t saw her face.

“Mom, dad who was she?”

“She saved your mother.”

“What? Are you okay mom?”

“Yes my child I am ok. She saved me on time.”

“And to my luck she is my business partner’s Yash Deewan elder daughter Sia Deewan.”

“Oh so she was Sia Deewan.”

“She invited tonight for dinner. So be ready on time.”

“Alright mom. We all will ready. Now Let’s go home.”

“Where are Arav and Aradhna?”

“We are here mom”

Aradhna came and stood by my side.

“Where is Arav?”

“I am here” we all saw him and in his hands there are lots of bags. He was struggling to holding the bags

“Why you did so much of shopping Aradhna. You never did it before” I asked and we all look at her

“Because she met with some crazy girls. Just because of them she bought these dresses, shoes, perfumes, makeup kit. I am hell tired now. I wish I will never meet her in my life.”

“Oho, she was nice. I liked her choices. She was sweet and knows what to buy and what not. You don’t know anything about it.”

“Oh hello miss, Yesterday you liked my choices and now you like her choices. Who is she do you even know her?”

“Oh no, I forgot to ask her name. leave it, but she said we have only one life and by god grace our parents earnings are good, so why not to shop more. When I thought about this I thought she was right and buy more and more and more.”

“That girl just met her and spoiled her in just few minutes. If she met anyone in our family she will spoil our family.”

“Ok now don’t cry Arav. She was right by the way, we are earning good so why don’t she spend her money in shopping.” I said by looking at him

“Yes she can buy anything but next time I will not be with you during shopping. It’s such a hectic guys. I don’t know how you girls can shop so much?”

We all laugh at his situation and I told Aradhna that she can buy anything we don’t have any problem. She said thanks to me and hugged me tight and we all left for home and after taking some rest we all get ready to go to Mr Deewan’s house.
