Chapter 101 He Wants to Wed Someone Else

Chapter 101 He Wants to Wed Someone Else

William wasn't moved. He shoved Isabella away with such force that she slammed into the nightstand. Black spots swam before her eyes from the impact, but she clenched her jaw, her expression resolute, refusing to back down.

William stared at her face, his eyes cold and unyielding, without a trace of hesitation.

"I'm not asking for your permission. I'm telling you. If you cause trouble or try to hurt Juniper, I'll make you wish you were dead."

He turned and left without another glance.

Isabella shouted after him, "I won't divorce you, William. Do you hear me? I will never divorce you."

If William wanted to marry someone else, she might not stand in his way.

But this woman was Juniper—and that changed everything.

This heartless woman had killed her beloved sister.

And now she wanted to marry the man Beatrice had loved.

Absolutely not.

Even if it cost her life, she would never let Juniper win.

William heard her hoarse screaming, and the irritation in his chest intensified. For the past two weeks, his emotions had been suffocating him, as if invisible hands were tightening around his throat, cutting off his air.

He didn't know what was wrong with him. No matter what he tried, he couldn't shake this crushing sensation.

Isabella's reaction caught him off guard. He'd promised Juniper closure, and he would deliver—whether Isabella liked it or not.

Half an hour later, Dylan walked into the hospital room carrying the divorce papers.

He set them on the nightstand, but before he could speak, Isabella grabbed the documents and tore them to shreds, scattering the pieces across the floor.

"Tell William that unless I'm dead, I will never divorce him."

Dylan froze. This was the first time he'd seen such raw fury on Isabella's face. On the drive over, he'd imagined her reaction—perhaps relief at the chance to escape William.

After all she'd endured, most people would have left long ago.

But now, when William was the one initiating the divorce, she was fighting it with everything she had, even willing to die rather than sign.

Yet she didn't seem to love William. So what was driving this determination?

"Ms. Tudor, you can tear up the papers, but I'll just print more. This is Mr. Spencer's decision. You know once he's made up his mind, nothing changes it."

Isabella met his gaze. "What I've decided won't change either. I would rather die than divorce him."

Dylan had no answer. He could only report back to William. William had given him one task—make Isabella sign.

William was determined to end this marriage, and he wouldn't tolerate resistance.

Dylan printed several more copies, but no matter how he pleaded, Isabella refused to sign. Each time, she tore the papers to pieces.

That afternoon, Juniper walked into the room. Seeing the shredded documents littering the floor, she smiled. "Looks like you're upset."

At the sound of her voice, Isabella's head snapped up, her eyes sharp as knives.

"Juniper, you're shameless. What did you do?"

Juniper shrugged, her smile widening. "Nothing special. Just spent the night with William. He's got quite the body. We were together all night long."

She said it deliberately, wanting to twist the knife.

But Isabella didn't care about that. Her voice was cold and unyielding. "Even if you manipulated him into sleeping with you, I won't divorce him. I won't let the woman who killed my sister marry him."

Juniper sighed softly. "I have some regrets, you know. I should've waited to tell you the truth. Should've secured William first, then revealed how Beatrice died. That would've been more entertaining."

She paused, her smile turning predatory. "But this is fun too. I love taking William from you while you watch, completely powerless to stop me."

Isabella's fists clenched. She wanted to lunge forward and tear Juniper apart. "I won't let you have him."

Juniper leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I still have the footage, you know. The whole thing—your sister burning alive. The way the flames consumed her skin... it was beautiful. Want to watch?"

"Shut up, Juniper! I will kill you."

"But you're just a pathetic, useless thing. You can't kill me. And soon I'll be Mrs. Spencer. Under his protection, you won't even be able to touch me."

Isabella's control snapped. She launched herself at Juniper, tackling her to the ground. Her hand closed around a fallen pen, and she drove it down toward Juniper's body.

Juniper screamed, the sound echoing through the hallway. William heard it and burst into the room to find Isabella raising the pen for another strike.

"Isabella, stop! Don't do this."

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

Isabella gripped the pen tighter, each thrust fueled by pure rage. The ferocity in her movements shocked even William. He rushed forward and kicked her away, then pulled Juniper to her feet.

Seeing blood on Juniper's clothes, William's fury exploded. "Isabella, have you lost your mind? How dare you attack her."

Isabella hit the floor hard, her injuries flaring in protest, but she seemed immune to pain. She scrambled up immediately, clutching the blood-stained pen, and charged at Juniper again.

"She's a murderer! She deserves to die!"

Juniper trembled, hiding in William's arms, sobbing.

William's patience shattered. As Isabella rushed toward them, he threw a punch that sent her crashing to the floor.

Before her eyes closed, Isabella stared at him, tears streaming down her face, her expression devastated.

If William truly married Juniper, she would have no face to meet Beatrice in the afterlife.

In her heart, she cried out in despair, 'Beatrice, do you see this? The man you loved most is marrying someone else. What should I do? Will you blame me?'

Watching her collapse, William felt his irritation spike even higher.

Juniper grabbed his arm, tears filling her eyes. "William, let's not get married. I can't bear to hurt Isabella. Look how upset she is. If we really marry, how will she survive?"

William's frown deepened. His decision wouldn't change because of Isabella.

The more she fought it, the more determined he became.

"Don't worry about her. I'll give you what I promised. I told you not to come see her, but you didn't listen. Now look—you're hurt."

Juniper wiped her tears, her voice small and wounded. "I just felt guilty. I wanted her forgiveness. As long as she refuses to divorce you, I won't compete with her. But she... she's still so angry."

William looked at her injuries, caught between anger and concern.

"Don't come see her again. Let me take care of your wounds."

Juniper nodded meekly, but as they turned to leave, she glanced back at Isabella's prone form. A victorious smile curved her lips. Isabella thought she could fight her? Pathetic.

William was already completely under her control. Marriage was just a matter of time.

William helped her out of the room. Nurses rushed in immediately, lifting Isabella back onto the bed and calling for a doctor to treat her injuries.

The doctor examined her and shook his head grimly. If she kept this up, she wouldn't last much longer.
