Chapter 9 Interrupted

Chapter 9 Interrupted
But just as he was about to dip two of his fingers in, the speakers suddenly boomed in the hallways, lifting up the dense cloud of arousal.
“All 2nd year students of the Computer Science department are requested to gather in the lobby. The Microsoft trip that had been postponed 3 weeks ago will be taking place as of now. Please leave your respective ongoing classes immediately. You have ten minutes. The designated supervisors of this trip are also requested to be present within the next few minutes. Thank you.”
Not even a minute later, the hallway was buzzing with excited students as they all filed down the staircase.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make it up to you. I’m gonna make you orgasm just as hard as you made me,” his groan vibrated deep within me, making me squirm in place. “And I can’t wait to be the first to get a taste of that sweet fucking pussy.”
“I need to go”, I quickly pulled away from him, jumping off the table and diving for the door. If I stayed a little longer, who knew what else I would’ve let him do to me.

2 hours later and almost everyone was seated on the bus. For the past hour and a half, everyone had been waiting for the missing supervisor.
For one person, everyone had to wait around for who knows how long?! These PhD students who’d apparently been drafted as our supervisors acted like such arrogant asses, behaving like they were busier than the president. And too self-important to concern themselves with saving others’ time.
“Some supervisors they are, huh? They’re supposed to make sure we are on time yet they’re the ones running hours late”, the blonde guy sitting beside me suddenly said. He used to sit beside me in 3 of my classes for the whole of the last two semesters. His name was Chris and he was one of the few people in this college who was nice to me.
“My thoughts exactly”, I agreed, leaning back in my seat, trying to get comfortable.
He went quiet as he shuffled through his bag, taking out a green lab file and pen.
“Are you gonna do an assignment on this bus? Right now?”, I chuckled, making him nervously grin in embarrassment.
“I’ve been a bit behind since the 3rd semester started. Mostly because you’re not there to help me anymore”, he admitted, fiddling with his pen and tapping it on his knee.
“I miss studying with you too.” I’d missed Chri’s comfortable friendship. He was so easy to hang out with and talk to. Unlike someone else I knew. My face was starting to heat up again when my brain started reminding me with very graphic images that I’d been on my knees for that certain someone less than an hour ago.
But thankfully Chris hadn’t noticed my sudden zone-out as he continued our conversation and I was grateful for the distraction from my less than pure thoughts.
We talked about all the classes we were taking and made plans to do assignments together again. I would tutor him in his weak areas where I was strong and he would do the same for me.
I was starting to get sleepy and my neck ached from trying to constantly lean back on the sturdy bus seat.
My eyes were half closed when Chris offered to let me use his arm as a headrest. I shook my head at him in no but was too tired to resist when he slipped his arm under my neck.
I was rudely awoken from my slumber when the bus finally started revving up. I rubbed at my eyes…. confused and dazed.
“He’s here,” Chris informed me as I got ready to sleep through the entire ride.
“Who’s here?” I grumbled.
“The supervisor we’d been waiting for.” Something in Chri’s tone seemed off which made me lift my head up and partly stand up to check who the pompous arse was who thought he could just waste everyone’s time.
Nonetheless, it was Daniel himself.
Fuck my life!
Hadn’t I had enough of him for one day?
I was thrown back into my seat when the bus went over a speed bump, making me let out a small ‘ouch’. He turned around just as he was about to take the only empty seat next to Natasha, the snobby bitch who tripped me in the hallway.
I hoped to sweet Jesus that he hadn’t seen me. I slouched in my seat, trying to make myself as small as possible.
“Ayesha, isn’t that the bakery cafe we used to hang out at every weekend? We should start doing that again. It would be the perfect place to study”, Chris suddenly suggested, pointing out the window.
I glared at him in annoyance. He gave me a confused frown and I almost felt bad. How was he supposed to know I was hiding from a certain supervisor?
“Well, don’t you two look cosy”, a sly voice made itself known, making me want to disappear when I realized that Chris still had his hand under my neck and his body was turned toward me.
“Get up”, Daniel ordered, looking majorly pissed off. I shrunk back in my seat, pretending to look out the window.
I wanted to tell Chris to stay but he didn’t deserve to be at the receiving end of Daniel’s anger. I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy, much less a friend.
Chris looked like he was going to protest but then he took in Daniel’s hulking frame, almost twice his size and at least half a foot taller than him and he backtracked.
“Did you not fucking hear me?”, Daniel glared at Chris, his body vibrating from pent-up anger.
“Just go”, I whispered to Chris, scared that he would do something stupid like stand up to the Kane’s heir…. because that would not end well for him.
“Oh no, love, let the kid decide for himself if he will cower under my command. I hope to fuck he doesn’t because I could really use a punching bag right now.”
The whole bus was silent, Daniel gritted his teeth. I could see the wicked gleam in his eye. He was looking for trouble.
Fortunately, Chris made the wise decision to not take Daniel’s bait as he shot me a concerned look, getting up from his seat and I nodded at him in assurance.
Feeling the opposite inside as Daniel filled up the seat beside me with his looming presence. I tried to ignore him as best I could, turning wholly toward the window.
I could feel everyone’s disappointment that the fight was over before it had even begun. Fricking scumbags, all of them!
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Daniel burning a hole in the back of my head with his glare.
I turned even further away… I knew it was childish but he had no right to be angry at me.
“Stop pouting”, he admonished me like I was a kid.
I pursed my lips. Continuing to gnore him.
“Look at me”, he said, softening his voice.
I still didn’t turn.
“Fine. Keep acting like a 7-year-old girl who just had her ice cream stolen”, he mumbled, making me grin like an idiot. I quickly tried to turn it into a frown as I stole a sneak peek at him, facepalming when he caught me looking at him.
“He was just a friend”, I found myself explaining. Even though I didn’t want to.
“Friend or not, I don’t want to see you with him again”, he scolded.
“You don’t get to tell me who I can and cannot be friends with. There aren’t a lot of options for me anyway since everyone at this university hates me”, I dolefully said.
“I am your friend”, he said matter of factly, making me chuckle in disbelief.
He arched a brow at me, frowning.
“Whatever you say, Daniel”, I airily said.
“And don’t call me love again”, I added. That word coming from his mouth did things to my body.
“Why not? You’ve got two options, it's either my little slut or love?” He smirked at my discomfort.
“Lower your voice, people can hear you”, I hushedly whispered to him.
“You still didn’t answer my question, love or my little…” he spoke louder, grinning from ear to ear when I placed my hand on his mouth to keep him from continuing.
“Love is fine. Now please stop talking.” I glared at him.
I let out a gasp and recoiled my hand when I felt his lips kissing and his tongue licking my palm.
“Ew”, I grumbled but I felt the opposite of that word. And I think he knew it too as the corners of his mouth pulled up into the smuggest grin I’d ever seen.
“What is wrong with you?” I meant that question. What was wrong with him? He was acting seriously weird. “Last I remember, it was 7-year-olds who licked hands to gross each other out.” Ha! It was my turn to be smug now.
“But you weren’t grossed out, were you?”, he hoarsely said, his gaze dropping to my loose black V-neck which had ridden down and now I was sporting an uncomfortable amount of cleavage.
And just like that, my momentary smugness had been wiped away.
An uncomfortable silence followed as I tried to adjust my top.
“Stop staring.”
“Sorry”, he replied, not sounding sorry in the least.
