Chapter one hundred and four: nowhere to go.

Billionaire Andrew's bodyguard brought out his pistol with a silencer in its mouth and he shot Mrs. Parker twice.

Mrs. Parker fell and die on the spot.

After completing his mission. Billionaire Andrew's bodyguard leaves the house immediately before he is Bern caught.

Mrs. Parker was down but in the moment of her last breath she tried to get the book she had written a message on when Mike was away, but she could not reach for the book, she died finally, her fingers pointed at the book as her eyes close in death but Mike did not know what was happening.

Billionaire Andrew's bodyguard, who is done with his job, stands some distance away from the house. The Billionaire bodyguard decided to inform his boss about the success of the mission.

“Hello boss,” the billionaire bodyguard said as he was about to inform his boss about the mission.

“Yes, I thought I won't hear from you. So how did it go?” billionaire Andrew asked.

“As planned Sir, it went smoothly but though it it was longer than I expected to get her location I am done with the mission,” billionaire Andrew's bodyguard said.

“I see, but is there anyone else in the house?” billionaire Andrew asked over the phone from his comfort zone with his best friends beside him and inside his mouth, which were his bottle of whiskey and his cigar in his mouth.

“No, I don't think so, I checked but no one,” billionaire Andrew's bodyguard said.

“I don't think so. You see, this is the problem, you did not check inside the house, you just assumed that no one was inside the house except her, I will let it slide because you completed the mission, I think Mike is inside the house,” billionaire Andrew said.

“What?! Should I go and get him too?” billionaire Andrew's bodyguard asked.

“No, there is no need, the police will handle it,” billionaire Andrew said. He kept puffing his cigar as he spoke.

“Okay, May I ask, how did you know that might be in the house?” billionaire Andrew's bodyguard asked.

“Because it is very simple. Mike used the opportunity of him in prison and he met Mr. Parker, one of those tried to stand against me but I put them down, Mr. Parker and Mr. Jack. I don't know what he discussed with Mr. Parker before his passing but I will be on my guard, so after he been chased by the police, he has nowhere to hide, the only place he would go to is Mrs. Parker, and remember he was injured from the fall from the rooftop,” billionaire Andrew said,

“Okay boss, I can still go after him,” billionaire Andrew bodyguard said.

“No! I said no! The police will handle it, now get back here, I have something for you to do,” billionaire Andrew said.

“Alright, I am on my way,” billionaire Andrew bodyguard said. He left his spot and he went back to his boss.

Billionaire Andrew ended the call, he quickly called police Commissioner Reynold. “Mr. Reynold something just came up and you will love to hear it,” billionaire Andrew said as Reynold picked up the call.

“What is the problem? I am listening,” police commissioner Reynold said over the phone.

“Follow the address I sent you and you find Mike and this time, Mr. Reynold, end this madness,” billionaire Andrew said.

“Okay I will,” police commissioner Reynold said and he ended the call.

Meanwhile, at that period, Mason was still been interrogated by Officer Joe and his colleagues but Mason refused to say anything to the law enforcers.

“I asked a question! Answer me!” Officer Joe shouted.

Mason smiled and looked at Officer Joe and he said slowly “I… Need… a…. Lawyer…”.

Immediately police Commissioner Reynold walked into the interrogation room with Officer Ruby behind him.

Officer Joe was surprised by the intrusion, he asked “What is the problem? I am in the middle of an interrogation,”.

“I know and the interrogation had given no result. I have something that just came up, it is an emergency, gather your team and get ready to move out, come with me for more information,” police commissioner Reynold said.

He walked out of the interrogation room after, he made his statement.

Officer Joe turned to Mason and said “It is like your friend has been found, don't worry he will join n you soon,”. He laughed and he left the interrogation room.

Officer Joe approached an officer who was outside the interrogation and he said “Get him back to his cell, don't let him escape,”. Officer Joe said.

“Yes sir, I will do that,” the officer said. He obeyed the order. He sent mad in back to his cell.

Mason was thinking about what he said, “What if he is right? Or is he trying to mess it up my head?”. These were the questions that Mason asked himself as he had been taking back to his cell.

Officer Joe, Officer Ruby, and Inspector Eric were in police commissioner Reynold's office, for bringing about the incident.

“Okay listen up, there is an incident at Wall Street, at the house of an old lady, named Mrs. Parker I don't know what happened but I think it's a gunshot, approach with caution and please be advised arrest anyone seen at the spot, let us do our best to end this madness, any questions?” police commissioner Reynold asked, after completing the briefing.

Officer Joe asked, “How are we sure it's not a bluff if it's an emergency it could have gone through the emergency hotline, not through you,”. He asked a question that police commissioner Reynold did not want to hear and he was angered by it.

“Are you questioning me? Or do want to disobey my orders?! My sources are always correct, so stop asking questions and get to work!” police commissioner Reynold replied. He was angry because that could have aroused curiosity and suspicion from the rest officers.

“Alright, Sir!” Officer Joe responded. He did not want to rough feathers with the commissioner but he was suspicious of the order or information that was given. But he still went ahead with the order with his team.

Officer Joe and his team plus additional police officers went to the address at Wall Street which was Mrs. Parker's address.

Meanwhile, Mike was still at Mrs. Parker not knowing what happened. Mike was done with what he made in the kitchen. As Mike turned off the gas. He gasped and said, “I have enough of these, It is time to turn the table around but first let me check on Mrs. Parker,”. Mike said to himself.

Mike took his food and Mrs. Parker's food, which he made for her, and he went to her room. Mike placed the food on her tray and he knocked on the door.

“Knock! Knock! Knock! Mrs. Parker, I know it's hard for you right now but you have to eat something this morning, please open the door,” Mike said with the tray of food in his hand.

But Mike got no response, he was shocked and he knocked again and repeated the same words but apologetically, but he still had to respond.

Mike decided to enter the room uninvited. Mike touched the handle of the door and he discovered that it was warm and the door was not locked. He knew something was wrong. He peeked inside the room but no one was in and the house was quiet.

Mike dropped the food tray on the dinner table and he immediately went to the parlor, he called Mrs. Parker but still no response. As Mike walked into the living room, he stepped on food, he was surprised, he looked around him and some part of well well-tiled and neat floor was covered with blood.

Mike saw the source, he was aghast to see that it was Mrs. Parker. Mike rushed he tried to check on her and then he saw two holes created in her clothes and Mike knew it was a murder.

“Who did this?!” Mike asked himself but he couldn't answer his question, tears ran down his eyes.

Amid his tears, he looked at Mrs. Parker's hand and he noticed that she wanted to get something she could not but her fingers pointed at a book close to the book Mr. Parker gave him in prison.

Mike collected the book and he opened it and it was a message.

Suddenly Mike heard the police sirens, he looked out the window and he saw police cars pulling up in front of the house.
