Kush glanced at his phone which was buzzing non-stop; He bite his lip as another notification of missed call appeared on the screen. Kush knew the moment he will post those photos of him and Nayera, his family will start freaking out.

‘Palace in 20 minutes,’ the screen of his phone light up as he glanced at it. This one was from his mother. His drive to the palace took him a little over 20 minutes.

Kush stepped in the palace as he saw his phone family in the hall waiting for him, seems like coming home in Nayera’s t-shirt was not a good idea because the opened mouth and shocked faces of his family were telling him the story of their suprsoe.

Let’s see how it hit them.

“well, t-shit over pants, nice combination,” His elder brother Shiv said as his sister-in-law stood beside him.

“Who is the girl Kush?” His mother asked as she looked at him.

“Maa-sa,” Kush looked at his mother who did not bother getting up from the couch, he knew she was more than disturebed by the news beause she had been asking him from the start if he likes any girl or not.

Kush walked towards her as he sat on his knees, “I never thought you to lie Kush,” She said as she looked at him, he held her hands in his.

“Maa-sa, i—“ Kush tried to find the right words but before he could do anything his brother interuppeted him in between.

“You spent the night with her?” Shiv asked as he looked at his borther.

“Yeah, Bhai-sa, I was with her all night,” Kush said stressting on the word ‘ her ‘

“Kush, why your all photos with her are blurred or do not have a clear look of her, she dersves to be known,” His sister-in-law as Kush looked at his mother.

“Kush did well, Sawati,” His mother said as Kush nodded understanding her concern.

“Anyone can’t be the princess of this palace, she deserves to kown but only after we know her clearly and approve of her,” Kush was a little hurt with his mother’s words but he kept his mouth shut, he needed to handle this carefully.

“Maa-sa, truts me you will like her,” Kush said as his mother careesed his cheek.

“I trust you but this world is too cruel soon, we need to meet her first,” Kush’s mother said as she looked at her son with a lovingly graze.

“Maa-sa, she is a simple girl, she, I—we did all this just to disclose this to you and everyone that I am in a relationship, a serious one, I do not want to meet any more girls,” Kush tried to make his mother understand. This is why he disclosed all this, this si why he had agredd to Nayera’s plan of controvery.

His family was dancing on his head for meeting girls for marriage, the girls were nice but not his type, he needs someone who can challenge him, who can stop him when is he wrong, slap him, has an opinion of her own.

He needs a slef suffivent woman who is not afraid to make her own decisions. His family is only getting girls from political background who are trained to be the perfect sumisive wife for their husabdn.

He does nto want a submissive wife, he needs a dominating natured girl.

“If you wanted to introduce her to the world and us then you should have make her meet all of us like Shiv did, he liked sawati and he introduced her to all of us not like you posting photos on social media,” his mother said in an angry tone. This was unacceptable in her views.

“What do you think this was a nice idea to post the photos to let her existence known to the world,” his mother continued.

“how come she did not stop you, is she not a sensible one?” her anger was reaching the peak.

“Maa-sa, please, at least listen to me once,” kush said in a pleading voice as his mother glared at him.

“Say what you want to say, Kush” His father said as he walked down the strais with a starught look on his face.

“We know we want to keep seeing each other, we know that we feel something for each other, we are possessive over each other but we are not ready to face our families yet, we are still getting to know each other,” Kush tried to explain his point of view to his family.

“I don’t know anything, you are introducing to us formality since you have already given her the ruby necklace you bought for the girl you want to spend the rest of your life with,”

‘oh shit! For photos Nayera made a fuss, the drama this morning was proof of it and now if I asked her to do this drama in front of my family when she has not even called me her friend, she is just helping me because she is the one who ruined everything in the first place, She will kill me if I even asked her about all this,’ Kush said as he gulped.

This was a bad, really bad idea.

“Maa-sa, she is not ready to meet you all right now, these photos was just to let you all know, she is not meeting you all just yet,” Kuhs made it clear as his family shut their mouth.

“Take your time with that girl, kush, be sure first,” His father said as he nodded, his relationship with his father is kind of strange, they understand each other but still aren’t that close.

“At least we deserve to know her name,” his mother said as his sister-in-law nodded as well.

‘ I can tell them the name right?’ he thought before contemplateing the words he was going to say.

“Nayera,” he said as unkwnoning her face this morning came in front of his eyes, he smiled to himself as his mother noticed this.

“Just don’t take too much time,” His mother warned him as he nodded kissing her hand.

“For now this was handled,” He said to himself as he walked back to his room.
