“ What are you doing….” Antonio voice stop as he saw the person he had be searching for. When Antonio got to his office the day he saw Sonia with nico in the room. He was devastated as he could not believe that he had believed that Sonia would not cheat on him. He trusted Sonia because she wanted him to but now that trust was shattered because of one mistake. Days passed and Antonio could not get over Sonia as the company and his family was taken the backlash of his anger. Including Margaret who was now afraid of approaching Antonio but still didn't want to share Antonio because she believe that with time Antonio will get over Sonia. But days turn into two months and Antonio became more depressed that it had affected the company and even the staff was afraid of coming to work because of Antonio.
But the one that was more affected was Andrew who was his secretary as he could not take it anymore and decided to investigate. Through the investigation, he discovered that it was all set up by Margaret as he got the friends of nico who had confessed that they were bribe by Margaret abd he also found silver who also confessed. Since the day she had betrayed Sonia, silver could not sleep and if not that she needed money for her son surgery, silver knew that she would have not taken Margaret offer. Andrew presented the information he had gathered from the investigation abd video recording if the confession to Antonio. Antonio realized his mistake as he already knew that he could not let Sonia go because he love her and he felt foolish for not knowing his feelings until it was already too late as he could not find the whereabouts of Sonia.
“Sonia, i have found you!” Antonio said as he couldn't control himself as he walk passed Ray and hugged Sonia. When Antonio found out that Sonia was no where to be found, he became more depressed and frustrated because he knew that he would do anything to keep her by his side. Antonio did everything in his power to find Sonia but each time Andrew came to report to him, the news was not favorable. It was as if Sonia had disappeared and untraceable as Antonio blamed himself and not even his own mother could comfort him. It was as if Antonio lock himself away with regret and blamed of not believing Sonia as he continued drinking abd smoking as if the world was ending and he was in the middle of the destruction.
“I finally found you sonia!” Antonio said as he kissed Sonia head but he could feel the rejection from Sonia as she pushed him away from her. Sonia knew that if Ray was here then Antonio will also be present. Sonia had already layed her plan as she will disappear after graduation and raise her children in a safe environment as she didn't want Antonio problems with his family rejection of her to affect her children. But now everything is falling apart as she did not plan for Antonio to see her like these as she Sonia was confused and now stressed on what to do.
“Your pregnant!” Antonio said as he felt pain when Sonia pushed him away but it was expected as he had hurt her without given her time to explain. But as he stepped back Antonio was surprised because he was overwhelmed with emotions that he failed to see that Sonia had changed massively. Antonio stared at her stomach that was big and what came to his mind was if she could even walk with that big stomach.
“Antonio, I think we should give Sonia space to breath first” Ray said as he could see that Sonia was breathing heavily and sweating as if the temperature was hot. Ray didn't want to stress Sonia as he could see that her big stomach was already more stressful than their questions. But he knew that Antonio had been searching for Sonia to the point that he could not even recognize his frustration anymore. If only he knew that Sonia was his cousin and was staying in his house then things would have been different.
“Who is the father” Antonio said as he didn't want to give Sonia any breathing space because he had alot of questions and seeing her in these state had increased his questions. Antonio was sure that Sonia didn't do anything with nico but he was also confused as he didn't know what to believe. Sonia stared at Antonio as she could see the emotion on his eyes and face and it was as if he was a different man but what caught Sonia off guard was the words he said to her. Sonia wondered if he had missed and was looking for her because that was his statement. But something felt off for Sonia as she could feel a sharp pain in her stomach. Sonia touched her stomach as she ignored Antonio question on who the father was, because the pain was increasing as she could feel liquid coming out from her core.
“Ah, my water just broke!” Sonia said as she felt pain that she had never felt before as she used the refrigerator to support her self. Antonio and Ray were stunned by Sonia words as they both stared at the floor to see the water that was on the ground and Sonia gown was wet. They became alarmed as they didn't know what to do at the moment as the stared at each other in confusion.
“Does it mean the baby is coming?” Ray said as he was not used to this kind of things, so he could py asked because it might be a false alarm.
“Do I look happy to you, of course the baby is coming!” Sonia said as the pain was overwhelming as she could not even breath properly as she could feel her inside clashing with each other. But suddenly she felt a strong hand that wrapped around her waist and carried her up abd she could see the expression on his face. It was the expression he had never showed her before which was love and concern.
“Don't worry, am here now and everything is going to be alright” Antonio said as he placed a kiss on her fore head. He knew that a kiss wouldn't came the pain she was feeling but that was all he could give her right now as he walked passed Sonia family members who was surprised that Sonia was with Antonio.
“What is going on, and why is Antonio carrying Sonia to his car” Mrs Sandra said as she could see the expression on Antonio face which was surprising and also the pain in Sonia face while holding her stomach. The grandmother and the rest of the family saw Antonio car driver out of the mansion.
“The baby is coming and Antonio is the father” Ray said as he walked out of the kitchen. Ray knew he had to explain to his family.
“What!” everyone in the living room was in shock except Ray.
