Matthias POV
Her chocolate-brown eyes, still gaping wide in astonishment, locked on mine.
She notices my jacket and said, "So that's the uniform the guys get to wear?" She nods towards my jacket.
"Yeah," I lie, pointing to her t-shirt. "Where's your uniform?" I jokingly responded.
"Just chilling out there in this absolutely gorgeous garden and pretending like it's my own backyard."
I chuckle ''It is yours. Everything is yours.''
''Everything?''
''Everything.''
''Why'd you invite everyone when I left?'' She asked.
''Actually, they came to me. It was a surprise.''
''Who were they?''
I stifle a laugh. ''Jesus, woman, you really ask a lot don't you?''
''I'm curious.''
''Friends from college. Nothing less.''
''Oh, okay.''
''Come on, it's getting late, we should sleep.''
''We?'' She questioned.
''Yes, we.''
.....
''Thank you, Shirley, for the sheets,'' I said to my maid, Shirley.
''You're welcome sugar, let me know if you need anything else,'' she said in her thick Southern accent.
''No m' am. Thank you, you may go home.'' Shirley plodded her way out of the room.
''That's your side and that is going to mine,'' I said to Josie.
''Why can't I have my own room?''
''You just got here and you're asking for your own room?''
''Yes.''
''The answer is no.''
''But, I'll be fine by myself in my own space.''
''No, I need you here to keep you safe. Don't argue with me with this one, understand?'
She nods. ''Understand.''
''Here, everything you need is here. We have work tomorrow be ready by nine.''
''Okay, thank you,'' she whispers.
-----
I woke up knowing I had a seriously hot dream and wishing I could remember it. Throwing my phone down on the bed after silencing my alarm, I covered my eyes with my forearm and tried to slow my breathing.
I was horny as fuck, my cock was harder than the imported tiles my bed stood on, and I couldn't remember why.
When was the last time I had sex? Shit, this is frustrating.
I got up from the bed and went downstairs to the kitchen and found Josie cooking breakfast. She was wearing my brand hoodie, her hair was up in a bun and she was cutting up the onions slowly.
''What are you doing?'' I said, she jolts.
''Ouch. Fuck," she shrieked.
I went over to her and saw that she cut herself on her thumb. I heaved a rough sigh and tiptoed over her shoulder, grabbing a first-aid kit from the cabinets.
''I'm sorry, I...I... I wanted to cook I thought it'll be nice,'' she anxiously responded. She widens her eyes when she realized the morning wood was poking through my sweatpants.
''That's why I have chefs, for a reason. Did you let them go?'' I snapped.
She nods, I muttered ''Jesus.''
''Sorry.''
''I heard you the first time.''
''I'm being sincere.''
I took her hand, cleaning it then place a band-aid on top of it. ''I'll help you cook breakfast, but next time you have to tell me. Okay?"
''Yes, I'll tell you.''
''Start with the tomatoes. Cut them vertically.'' I grabbed the onions away from her and begin to cut them in a vertical motion, then horizontal. My eyes shifted towards Josie and I saw that she was struggling.
''Don't force yourself too much when you're cutting it. It's easy,'' I said to her. Right behind her, I placed both of my hands on her waist and pushed her closer to the counter.
My hands slide across hers, gently cutting the tomatoes slowly.
''Nice... and slow,'' I whispered to her ear. Her lips curled and she let out a sigh.
She looks up at me and she focused on my eyes, which were darting back and forth, shining in the sunlight. The doorbell rings and I step aside to answer it. ''Keep cutting,'' I said, walking my way to the door.
Opening the door, Galen my head security guard was here.
''Good morning Mr.Lekas,'' he said to me.
''Galen.''
''Mr.Lekas, we have a problem.''
"A problem?" I crossed my arms.
''I prefer to tell you this inside.''
