Chapter 282 Eve's worries about Allan Wounded!
The extremely loud gunshot made everyone surprised and unexpected. Everyone in the room was shocked and froze in their places.
Similarly, Eve who heard the gunshot from a distance was equally surprised. Eve who was in the car prepared by Allan not far from the entrance to Damian's house froze and turned pale instantly. Eve's mind immediately went to someone.
Allan Watson.
"What happened there? Why are there gunshots? Is...oh, no! Allan!" Eve struggled to get out of the car but was held back by Narti and also by Tom!
"Eve! Hold on! Calm yourself down! It's dangerous for you to go down there! We don't know what's going on inside!" Narti shouted while holding Eve's hand firmly.
Eve looked at Narti in confusion, "But, Allan is in there, Narti! Let go of me! Can't you hear it? There's a gunshot over there! I can't just stay here! Allan..Allan...Let go of your hand! Let me go inside!"
Eve was about to run back inside the house but was held back and hugged by Narti, "Calm down! Look, Aleena will be worried later! She's looking at you right now! Don't scare her! Nothing will happen to Allan! Be sure!"
Eve tried to calm herself down, her chest rising and falling her brain couldn't take it but she kept thinking about Aleena. She thought of Aleena, her daughter. Eve automatically turned her head towards the back where Aleena was about to come down but was carried back by Tom because Aleena was getting scared, Aleena must have heard the gunshot too because it was so loud. She must be thinking about her Daddy too. Thinking of Allan.
"Mummy? What's wrong? Did something happen to Daddy?" she asked a little frightened as her face turned pale.
Eve tried to wipe away her tears and took a breath before finally smiling, "It's nothing, dear! Mummy heard wrong!"
Eve finally opened her arms and Aleena climbed down and ran into her Mummy's arms.
Narti moved closer to Tom and whispered, "Don't keep quiet! Find out what's going on in there! How long are we going to wait? Hurry up, don't make everyone panic and scared!"
Tom nodded and then took out his mobile phone and moved away to talk to someone. Tom seemed to nod his head as if he understood. Then he hung up the call and walked towards Eve who was still hugging Aleena in the car while sobbing. Narti followed Tom's footsteps behind him, all the way to Eve. Tom looked down in front of the car door.
"Calm down, Eve! Allan is fine! It was just the sound of Damian arguing with his Uncle! You don't need to worry! I've got information too, there will be reinforcements soon and everything will be over! Calm down, Eve!" said Tom as he tapped Eve on the shoulder.
Eve looked at Tom with a relieved look on her face but still had some worries in her heart. "You're not lying to me, Tom? Allan is okay, isn't he?"
"I'm not lying! I called Bert earlier and he said Allan is fine!" said Tom.
"Thank goodness! So who's hurt? Is anyone hurt in there?" asked Eve, remembering that there were still many people in there.
Tom exhaled, "That I don't know! But for sure Allan, Bert, and...Damian are fine! We'd better wait for them in a bit!"
Tom then got his head out of the car with a nod. Tom had slightly put his head into the car while talking to Eve earlier.
Tom was about to turn around to get out a little away from the car Eve was travelling in when, Eve called out to him. Tom looked back.
"Thank you, Tom! For the information!" Eve said sincerely.
Tom smiled, "You're welcome! I know you're worried about Allan's condition, but trust me, Allan knows what he's doing! He won't leave you this time! You're too precious for him!"
Eve froze at Tom's words just now and there was no usual joking face on Tom's face at this time. Tom seemed to really mean what he said this time. It made Eve's heart warm up a little. And this made Eve's face blush slightly in embarrassment, and Eve could only look down.
"Narti! Please take care of Eve! I'll check and keep watch around here! I don't know why they're taking so long this time!" Tom said a little annoyed and moved away without waiting for Narti's response.
' Who did he just mention to them? Is she waiting for someone? Will there be others coming here?' Narti thought to herself before she finally joined the car with Eve to look after Aleena who seemed to be getting tired and fell asleep.
While inside, Claire held her chest that felt tight, her eyes slowly opened. She looked at her surroundings and then at herself with surprise.
Claire who was surprised to see that her condition was fine was excited.
"What? I'm alive? I'm not hurt? Really? Was the bullet a stray? Wait a minute..." Claire tried to check on herself once more only to be startled and fell to the floor as she thought the bullet had hit her.
When she looked in front of her she saw Damian walking with a hateful look towards his uncle who was actually injured? His right hand was pressed against the wall and there was a knife stuck in it! Who did that? Was it Damian? Why didn't I see it?
Not only Claire was shocked but so were Allan and Bert who witnessed the incident so quickly.
'It's true what Tom said, Damian doesn't seem to be an ordinary person! Was he really a soldier? Is he still a soldier or is he an ex-soldier?" Allan wondered to himself.
"What happened exactly? Why did it happen so fast? What did Damian do just now?" Allan said unconsciously.
Bert who was beside him only said quietly, "I didn't see it too clearly either Sir, but I think..."
That's when Bert's mobile phone rang and it was Tom. Bert slightly stepped aside and made Allan frown. 'Why did he have to stay away?
After about five minutes of Bert approaching Allan, Allan impatiently asked Bert, "Who called you? Why are you staying away? Why not just accept it here?"
Bert took a deep breath and let it out, sometimes his boss annoyed him.
"Tyan Tom called me! He asked what happened! They heard gunshots! Looks like Miss...Sorry Mrs Adams, worried about you, Sir! And I explained that...!" Tom said with annoyance.
Bert hadn't finished his sentence because he saw the happy look on Allan's face 'Why is he so happy? It's not the right time to be happy, is it?" Bert thought to himself.
Bert was just about to answer back but he was held back because someone shouted very loudly and loudly.
"You son of a bitch! Don't know yourself! What are you doing! I took care of you from childhood! Is this your reward? Huh?" asked the very Uncle named Dixon.
All eyes turned to Uncle Dixon and gazed at his situation.
